Superb

Breakfast was wonderful -- 2 options to choose from and both were delish and filling. Loved the West End location as well.

The bed could have been better. Didn't bother my husband, but it kept creaking every time I moved and waking me up.

the inn was a perfect place to stay in Portland!!

The location is fabulous and the manager Milon made our stay phenomenal!! he was very attentive without being intrusive and helped us with best places to eat and exploring Portland . the inn is comfortable and incredibly clean.

stairs to room are steep but manageable.

Really beautifull but not super comfortable

Beautifull house, very friendly and welcoming inn-keeper and really nice breakfast. Also really liked the wine-machine and the games that were available to play in the living room area

I wasn't aware of the bathroom not being connected to the bedroom (room 3) but being in another room. Bathropes were provided however the house is old and has creaky floors and jammed doors so going to the restroom at night wasn't very comfy because we didn't want to wake any other quests. Also the bathroom could use an update. For next time I should have booked a king room because the queensize bed felt really small to us so it wasn't super comfortable. For the rest the house was simply lovely so as the in-keeper(s) and breakfast.

A very nice, quaint and comfortable place to stay.

The innkeeper gave us a priceless recommendation for dinner, The hotel is old-fashioned charming, very clean and well-kept. The room was slightly more compact than medium and spotless. The location near town was excellent. The neighborhood was also nice.

We had a 3rd floor room and the stairwells were long and steep.

loved this inn would definitely stay again

service, environment, breakfast all excellent. location a short walk into central Portland which we enjoyed. great city.

worth noting there is no lift and steep stairs ( our room was on the third floor). no problem with storing our luggage on the ground floor and inn keeper very helpful. limited parking at the inn, so on street parking could be required.

West End Inn exceeded our expectations beyond words. We loved everything about our stay - the room was clean, big, and tidy, the breakfasts were delicious and different each day, the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. I already plan on going back to Portland specifically to stay there again.

Beautiful accommodations, friendly staff, convenient location, with enjoyable breakfasts

The breakfasts were tasty and nicely presented, but a bit small. The location was quiet and convenient, but the local parking restrictions were a bit of an inconvenience.

We stayed on the top floor, which was very peaceful, but it is quite a climb on steep and narrow stairs. It would not work for everyone.

Really lovely and mostly enjoyable

Very pretty. Snacks, wine and amenities 👍🏼👍🏼 Very comfortable room. Delicious breakfasts!

Although our private bathroom was lovely, I did not enjoy having to leave our room at night to walk down the hall to go.

Lovely stay

Spacious king room with double sink bathroom, delicious breakfasts which were different each morning. Limited parking available at the hotel but street parking was always available. Milan, the housekeeper, was efficient and provided recommendations for food and sightseeing.

Stephen was particularly helpful in advising activities, restaurants, and timing. He was also an incredible breakfast cook! Also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony reading, drinking nice available microbrew beer, and location was close to great restaurants and central Portland activities - recommend the 5-lighthouse bike tour.

Absolutely amazing staff, accommodations, and location.

Steven and Milan are amazing. check in was incredibly easy, the staff was amazingly friendly, the rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast is something out of a movie! My girlfriend and I will continue to return to the West End.

Wonderful place to stay in Portland! Highly recommend!

B&B in an beautiful old home that has been renovated. We could walk to most attractions. Breakfast was fabulous! This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our 3 week journey.
