Excellent hotel. The position is fantastic, near downtown ,museums ,Capitol near best restorants and the staff is very friendly and helpful .Its one of the best hotels/apartment style in Washington DC.We found comfort of the home ,far away from home.Superclean.
Highly recommand and for sure will be back again.
Nothing. It’s perfect place to come amd stay.

Facilities were very roomy and homelike. The hotel was 2 to 3 blocks from three Metro stations offering access to four different Metro routes. Several eating and shopping venues were a short walk away, some just across the street, around the corner, or right next door.
Weekly housekeeping service takes some getting used to. My keycard didn't work the first time I tried to use it and had to go back down to reception to get it fixed (I understand that the facility began upgrading its locks after my stay).

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Als ik dan toch iets moet noemen.... een aparte douche was fijn geweest. Het douchen in de badkuip heeft niet mijn voorkeur. Maar dit is verder niet onoverkomelijk.

Exceptional staff!
I love this stay!

Great location. Could easily walk to White House and National Mall. We felt like we were in our own comfortable apartment, not a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Parking at the hotel was very expensive (but we were informed of less expensive options nearby which was nice). The beds were not very comfortable. Not horrible, but definitely not high-end mattresses. There was a coffee maker but no coffee. It would be nice if guests had a bag of coffee to get them started on their first morning.

Such welcoming and friendly reception staff, great bar ambience and talented barman, Alex.
The suite was superb, well equipped and having two bathrooms was an appreciated bonus.
The suite was large and ideal for entertaining other guests if required.
Bus stop outside the door, car parking on site and a nearby Panera Bakery make this establishment top drawer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our four days at aka White House and would commend it to others who might seek accommodation in the heart of the city.
Nothing to dislike!

Apartment was generous size, had everything we needed / wanted and was fashionably furnished throughout.
The $250 refundable charge for ‘incidentals’ is a bit steep. We left place in good order and money back in account day we returned home. But could be quite a bit of your spending money while there.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

Fabulous location and lovely 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment. Perfect for 2 couples.
Within easy walking distance of the White House and stops for the Open top bus.
Lovely restaurants nearby . Can recommend Founding Farmers esp for breakfast and the Tapas.
We had to ask 3 times for extra dishwasher solution despite being told “ no problem just ask for anything you need “!
And watch that the bill reflects what you are charged by Booking.com
Apparently an additional DC tax was introduced in Feb 2023 and Booking.com did not advise us if an additional charge
AKA advised we should have been informed but after some discussion they agreed to waive the charge

I liked the layout of the apartmen.
I expected that the room will be cleaned on a daily basis. I also expected that there will be at least some coffee pods and tea bags but there were none. And there was no safety deposit box in the the room.

Great central location. Clean and spacious room.
No cleaning services for the apartments. At the rate charged there should be consideration to have the apartments cleaned.

The room felt like a small apartment so it had a homey feeling. The wood floors were a bonus as it made the room feel more modern and upscale. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well-stocked. Having two bathrooms was a bonus! Miles, the front desk guy, was extremely helpful, professional and friendly! The lady who was bartending Tuesday evening on April 4th was awesome! The lady at the front desk on April 5th at around 11am was very helpful and professional.
Housekeeping was very attentive to requests.
1. The price between the one and two bedroom was quite high (at least at the time I tried to book).
2. On the morning of March 31st (around 9am) there was an employee banging on the door next to our room (we were in room 1110 so it was room 1111, I believe). The employee was yelling for whoever was in the room to wake up and answer the door. Really? I was in a meeting as I was working from my room and it was pretty disruptive. When the person I was traveling with opened our door (we thought they were banging on our door), the hotel worker said, "Not you, this room." There was no apology or nothing - very unprofessional.
3. Recommendation: Consider reminding housekeeping that guest often work from their hotel rooms and loud talking and yelling down and across the hall is not appreciated.
4.. Many of the folks at the front desk aren't very friendly/approachable. The girl at the front desk on the night that we checked in (March 30th at approximately 10:15pm) was very stand-offish. She wasn't forthcoming with any information and acted like we didn't belong there. When I asked her a couple of questions she just responded that she didn't know anything about what I was talking about or instructed me to "go online." When we asked for a recommendation for food she quipped, "Door Dash." Not a fan of that type of attitude for the amount of money I spent having stayed six nights. While I am inclined to visit again in the future, I would hesitate to recommend my colleagues with some of the things I experienced.

Had a wonderful stay. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite was perfect for comfort. Having a kitchen was helpful so that we didn’t have to eat out for every meal.

The location.
i have paid $5000 to stay here, I wanted to stay here because of proximity of the hotel. I was missing a week in my booking and I’ve tried my best to find a solution and in my back luck I booked wrong and not even 24 later i noticed my mistake and I’ve tried all my best to get reimbursed because I booked and paid. now the hotel refused to reimburse me back and I’m left with no hotel? no funds to pay another hotel, I cried my life and they didn’t care. they told me it’s booking.com, booking.com told it’s the hotel. I am emotionally drained and exhausted. I can’t believe a place I fought to stay at, where my work the World Bank gives so much money can’t find a solution or an exception . I can’t call or receive calls from my room, my room is only cleaned once a week which is awful, the staff has been so robotic and unkind in my desperate moments.. some of them are at least human and kind only of two of them. I am supposed to stay few days here and I can’t bring myself to stay further. I will complain to World Bank for choosing hotels which are not flexible or understanding to their most recurring clients. I am appalled and distraught. I just need to be reimburse, or find rooms from 9-16 of April so I can have peace …or get my reimbursement which for 9-16 of July. this has been a nightmare

location, size
left trash in the hall for two days. There was very little hot water, even after they ‘fixed it.’
4.5
Extraordinary location - a block from the White House. Huge apartment-size room. Full kitchen with full-size appliances. Nice living area, separate bedroom with bath and walk-in closet, PLUS a half-bath in the hallway.
4.5
we really enjoyed the the location.
the bathrooms were really old and the water smelled like rotten eggs. the shower head was detached from the wall and you could see the rust all over the pipes. toilet was running all night and sometimes wouldn’t flush but everything was working well enough. the superintendent who came to fix our faucet was nice and helpful.
the concierge people were pretty clueless about the hotel amenities when we asked about the tv.
also the cleaning was not done well.

The location was amazing, a block from the actual White House. Twice we heard police sirens and watched the presidents motorcade go by the window! A block from the metro rail that safely took us from the airport to a block away as fast as any car could have and for $2! The room was great. A few things showed signs of use but nothing that would bother any normal person. Staff was super friendly and professional.
My only complain was that horrible skillet they give you and the lack of a stove vent to the outside. I made pancakes most morning and that skillet was impossible to get clean! :P Also, the house smelled like pancakes half the day after making them. Only other issue was our in room icemaker didn't work. No worries though as the staff brought me a big bucket of ice as soon as they heard. SUPER SMALL issues though and overall the stay was amazing!
