Very nice staff! Particularly people from both housekeeping dept. and brunch cafeteria.
1. We booked a suite with two bath rooms, but were upgraded to a suite with only one bathroom without telling us when checking in. 2. The swimming pool is way too small. 3. A dirty blanket was provided.

Housekeeping takes too long to come to the room. I leave at 9am and they come by 2pm.. I’m coming back to the room around then and it’s highly inconvenient.

The Four Seasons is the one of the “Grand Dames” of hotels along with the Mayflower and the Willard. But like most over the age of 50, she’s showing a little age.
The rooms are stately but need updating- especially with outlets that support phones, tablets etc. a few times I saw doors accessible to the stairwells propped open - this was a little concerning knowing that displaced individuals were “camping” on the canal side. The restaurant was a disappointment. If you like expensive and noisy “mess halls” then that’s the place for you. If you’re looking for linen covered tables and romantic dining- then I can suggest other places. The food was ok but it did not curl my toes. I felt rushed and unappreciated.

The property manager/ assistant manager was very accommodating. He was a young African American young man from the DC area made fine recommendations and even personally arranged for a driver to take me to the airport after my driver was a no show.
Everything was wonderful.
