Great location for access to Highland Festival Grounds. Nicely updated rooms with great amenities. Very quiet even though it's close the airport.
Housekeeping knocked twice (and even entered once without knocking!) even though we hadn't checked out yet. That has never happened to me at a hotel, ever. It was so weird. But other than that, everything was fantastic!

Convenience to the airport along with shuttle service
Under construction

Bed was decent.
Staff sold our room. I confirmed the night prior to my families stay both rooms we had booked. There was 2 reservations confirmed one for me and one for 3. The members of family in the room of 3 were unable to make it and after arriving to the hotel, we had the member who booked the room to contact the hotel to add a name to the reservation and they acted like the room was never booked even though I confirmed with the hotel the night before. Booking.com contacted the hotel with no response also so luckily I am able to refund my credit card for fraudulent activity. The showers also suck! the temperature and pressure is so low compared to what you'd expect out of any hotel regardless of the star rating.

Very nice and very clean even with all the construction going on
Was very disappointed in the breakfast, couldn’t even cut the biscuits with a knife and some of the other food was ice cold. I made due with a bowl of oatmeal which was good

The staff was very helpful for what was going on.
I had to move rooms because the air conditioner was so loud. It literally shook the room I booked this from booking.com and I realize there’s no reason to say who’s staying at the hotel or not, but it would’ve been great to know that there was this convention going on, the phone didn’t work in the first room. The manager was gracious enough to move me to a different room. The phone again didn’t work at the bed and nobody seem to mention they were going to start working on the floor above me at 7 AM didn’t Say anything anywhere about the hotel being renovated, and the smell of paint throughout. Was not a happy camper.

Location
Total hotel renovations going on. Dust dirt elevators disgusting

The location in proximity to the expo center.
It’s under construction with workers being loud on other floors and you hear it all day in the room. The heating in the room was very poor and I had to crank the heat to maintain around 70° in the room. It was like it was cold all the time, tile was freezing, walls were cold. It was 15° outside, but clearly they shouldn’t be open during the construction if it’s impacting the rooms guests are staying in like that. The pool was on their website as being open, and it was also closed. The walkways had plastic on the ground and smelled like welding and chemicals.

Nothing
Tons of construction being done and wasn’t told before booking. Half of building is renovated/ other half is old and spooky. Was placed in old part of hotel, room wasn’t horrible but was disappointed that I wasn’t notified about all of the construction. Weird smell from construction I’m guessing

Nice clean up to date room. Had two light bulbs out.
The front desk staff looked and acted burned out. A young new employeed was very friendly, the seasoned staff seemed like they worked at a booking desk at a police station. (I am a former law enforcement)

We were going to a music festival across the street so location was perfect
Yeah, like the fact that they had no way to contact us when our room was ready, hotel is very outdated, I understand that they raise the rates due to an event, but $458 a night is way over priced for this old outdated hotel. The woman that we talk to at the counter, seemed like she was frustrated and she was rude

Location to venue we were going to
Dirty, smelled musty, like a wet dog, air conditioner did not work, stains all over the carpet, furniture old and tattered in the room, ice machine did not work, phone in the room did not work. Not at all what was discribed to us. Had we known the condition of the hotel we would have stayed at another hotel. Especially for the money. Believe they lost a lot of long time customers after this years event.

The property was convenient and clean.
We felt welcome but some of our meeting rooms were difficult to get to.

Close to everything
That the pool was closed and all the construction going on was not worth that we paid for the room

The buffet breakfast was good and our waitress there was super helpful. That was the only positive from our stay
The rooms are gross, and our shower curtain had mold on it. The bed sheets don't fit, so you end up sleeping on bare mattress because the sheets come off. The pool was closed and there was no mention of that before or after booking. We didn't know that it was closed until we checked in and it was to late to get a full refund. The cafe in the hallway was disgusting. Moldy fruit cups. Moldy breakfast sandwiches, the employee there was on his phone the whole time. Overall, our stay here was miserable. Everything else was sold out, so we had no choice, but I contemplated sleeping in our car. That would have been a better. The staff was very unhelpful. Sadly dissapointed.

They are about to start remodeling the rooms but even the older style is super pretty and well kept! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future!
The only thing I could possibly complain about is the out dated rooms (which to me were very timeless and felt very nice) but I know most people like the new modern look. Even with that they are starting their remodel and by the looks of their project plans it’s going to look amazing!

Nothing to complain about

The location was good. Rooms were nice and clean.
It was advertised to have a pool. No pool not open didn't know if it would ever be again. I wanted my granddaughters to stay at a place with a pool. They had looked so forward to it. Didn't even tell us when we arrived. I could have gotten rooms with a pool inside somewhere else. Very upset about that

NOTHING
The lifeguard was racist she did not let my party swim she was cussing at us she asked to see our swimsuits but didn’t ask anyone else she only gave us five minutes to swim and we got there at five and waited all the way until eight to a point where she told us we can come and swim at 8:30 for her to close the pool at 8:45. The GM was notified and told her to let us swim she told us if he has a problem with her he can come and do it because she’ll leave and the pool will shut down she was grabbing other peoples kids shaking them yelling at the kids just downright nasty even with staff.

The only thing I liked was the location.
It took an hour to check us in, very frustrating when you have 5 kids waiting in the car with you. There was no microwave in the room. Multiple light bulbs were blown out in our room. Let's not even get started on the joke of a pool. The pool is only open at 1:30 in the afternoon until 9 pm. I witnessed first hand body shaming due to someone's swimsuit. The lifeguards were absolutely awful. Taking multiple breaks when not needed. Even security said to report them to the front desk. I will never stay here again!!
