The people and the breakfast were highlights. Didnt use but appreciated the laundry machines!
The bathroom floor tiling grout was filthy and there was mold growing on the tub surfaces. There were carpeting remnants dumped in the stairwell. The window shade was frayed and looked shabby.

Room was great but the extra fees were terrible! If you are going to add fees do it up front so the customer knows what they are paying! Adding a $50 fee to the room was a flat rip off!

The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and water pressure excellent! Breakfast wasn't loaded with variety but had enough hot and cold options and daily selection of protein to be satisfying and better than other hotels at this price point. The coffee pots were full all day long. Numerous restaurants were available only minutes away, as was the highway. The covered entrance way did allow for easy ins and outs regardless of weather.
I was travelling with my mother (85) who alternates between using a walker or wheelchair. He bathroom did not have a walk-in shower but did have a bench to sit on - this could be an issue for those with similar mobility challenges. The handicapped parking spaces were far from the door and did not have curb cuts (the covered entrance made it possible to load in and out safely).

There is a mold smell in the room . Very strong when you first walk in.

it was clean, everything was very accessible.
The gentleman that worked the front desk. both nights of our stay was amazing! he was very helpful, so courteous, very quick to help and answer questions
couldn’t have asked for a nicer person!
we didn’t get the room we booked!! And it was blamed on a third party issue! we were told the third party which I am assuming is this booking site. I had reserved a room with two queen beds, due to having three people in the room. So that was my only issue here.

Very convenient and quiet location with a friendly staff.
The room had a musty smell while the HVAC unit was running.

The hotel was full and I was late to breakfast they still put out fresh sausage and eggs. I was worried we would not have food. Thank you.
Was concerned that the handicap room on the 2nd floor was going to be to far of a walk for my husband. He was able to manage. More handicap rooms on the 1st floor would be a suggestion.

Location and price were acceptable.
Arrived to the property and they did not have power. After driving 12 hours through a snow storm (from Northern Michigan), Figured it would be back on by the next day so we did not change our reservation. The next day my daughter had a volleyball tournament all day. We returned at 10:30 pm to discover that the power was still not restored. EVERY other business and hotel around them had power. This is a Holiday Inn…not some small motel. They don’t have a generator? So my daughter plays volleyball for 9 hours and can’t take a warm shower? Unacceptable. They offered me a refund with no penalty but they will have to call me to handle that later of course (ya don’t say…) we ended up leaving and this led to us not finding a room until 2 HOURS later so my daughter could shower. This ONE incident ruined my entire trip. We literally left a day early and I will NEVER rent a Holiday Inn room again. All the money you charge and you can’t afford a generator like EVERY other hotel in that area? Take better care of your customers. I was told I would receive a call about a refund….still WAITING ON DAY 11!!!!!

I was excited about the free breakfast but it was cold.
The staff was extremely rude, I’ve never been treated so bad at a Holiday Inn. I’ve been staying in Holiday inns all my life I will never agin stay at a express.

The location is great off the expressway.
The temperature in the room tops at 74. When you're on medication that keeps you cold this wasn't great. However the extra blankets did the trick.

The staff did a great job. Very friendly and responsive. We had a small issue with our room. It was taken care of promptly. It was clean, close to restaurants, and close to stores.

We were in town for the Louder Than Life festival this passed weekend and we had a wonderful stay at this location - the manager and staff were friendly and put up well with my group that went along.
The breakfast here was by far the best I've had at any hotel in my life - the turkey sausage patties were amazing, chobani yogurt, big blueberry bagels. So many options.
The venue was at the expo, so it was about a 20 minute/half-hour drive.
The pool was absolutely freezing! And it was closed during the time of the festival (I understand probably due to covid regulations)

The hotel was modern and clean. The staff that I spoke with were all very nice. I was very impressed with the breakfast. I have dietary restrictions and the breakfast had egg white and veggie omelettes and turkey sausages which was thoroughly impressive. I had several friends staying at the same hotel and they all thought the breakfast was outstanding. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. I will definitely stay here again.
My room was very close to the pool and it was notably more humid than my friends' rooms. It made things all a little damp and if I brought in anything wet, it stayed that way.

Location is great for family.
I requested close to elevator or door for a person with disability. After we changed to 1st floor near the door everything was fine.

room was really nice. clean and close to stores and restaurants
pool was closed. we booked there because of indoor pool. we had 4 kids with us on a spring break trip for them. there was a metal piece on the box spring we were unaware of and my youngest grandson cut his leg on it and had to get stitches

area and the bed was comfortable
hand written sign that the pool was broken the only reason we booked it

Location was great and close to things. Room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable.
It's not a big deal, but the towels were very old and worn. It's just not something I typically see at a hotel. The price was a little high.
