The location was good
The property is not maintained. We did not feel safe as there was a broke down vehicle under the building with what appeared to be a homeless person that was doing drugs.
1.8
Easy to find, cheaper., Clean 9.
Smell as wet wall, we took a non-smoking but stink as cigarette. No vending machines, No ice,

We didn't even stay - we pulled up and said ... NOPE and found another place
It looked like it was closed, no other cars there, they had razor wire around the fences, and there were drug deals going on in the parking lot and fights.

The place was clean, and the staff was friendly.
The location was bad.I had to walk through a little urban hell to get there, and the close proximity of the bridge to Illinois made rest impossible.

I never even stayed down e the fact you required a $50 cash refundable deposit for a non smoking room. which I didn't have nor did I have time to wait for a smoking room at 3 pm I had prior engagement that was paid for. Plus it was no where on the booking.com site where I purchased my reservation. Now I have $ 116. 00 dollars I am out because of this . I would like a refund for this please.

Location was good
Stayed in a smoking room the first night under a different reservation, very nasty in there, loud A/C, door didn’t seal. then our non smoking room was pretty acceptable, only issue was the bathtub faucet leaked
1.8
the location to our venue
rooms were disgusting, dirty and stunk
1.8
That it was close to the dome at the America's center
Well lets start with the theft of alcohol by the cleaning staff. There were prostitutes that appeared to be working the hotel knowingly by the owner, and the c smell of Marijuana on the workers and cleaning staff was overwhelming

The people in reception were fine, I always could change money and buy something to eat or drink. There is a microwave oven in the room something there is not in the Houston hotel I am now staying at. The cost of a night was a bargain.
The lift often wouldn't work. Inthe sidewalk in front of the hotel there was some trash such as dropped empty bottles. Some delivery services wouldn't go to the area. I asked an Uber and the pickup was somewhat distant of the hotel and I lost a bag on the way, that was not well lit.

Literally located in the shadow of the arch. Downtown is right there. Hard to get lost when the arch is your marker!
Not a safe location (homelessness, drug deals, etc). Motel is located on a one way stretch between two interstate accesses that is tricky to navigate.

Location
The room smells like smoke and you ask for a non-smoking room the refrigerator was not plugged in and working the microwave was not plug in and working the toilet did not flush very good the TV remote didn’t work with the TV the elevator only works going up and not down and I have to use a cane to walk with

I could walk to the convention center. I had a fridge and microwave. I had hot water in my shower
It was dirty, old, cigarette burns on blanket, intermittent wi-fi that kept kicking me off. My 3rd floor room was parallel with a highway overpass. So it was loud. The outdoor elevator worked periodically so thank goodness I could walk up 3 flights of stairs. Seemed well lit and parking lot had barbed wire fence but I put a lot of trust in their signs about surveillance. I could complain to the Hotel but there is a sign that says no refunds after 10mins following check in. Really? Very inprofessional but it must happen often. Way overcharged for my stay but this is what location to The American's Dome gets you.

Cleanliness and upkeep definitely not important for this location. The room was disgusting. Paint peeling, no deadbolt, burn holes and tears in the sheets, towels so rough they felt like they weren't even washed, broken light fixture and lamp shade, sink area had not been cleaned. The furniture is old and the carpet needs a serious cleaning. The saying "you get what you paid for" was not even applicable since I would not have expected this type of room even if I only paid $50 per night (and that was not the case since the room charge was over 3x that amount). Definitely on my list of "never again". For those that none of the above reasons worry you, it also did not feel safe. Lots of noise going on throughout the entire night and having a broken (lack of) deadbolt made me thankful that I did not have my kids with us on this trip.

Furniture is outdated. Rooms are dirty. Sheets were ridden with holes. Carpet is dirty and needed to be replaced yesterday. Window to the lobby is smashed. Gunshots heard outside. Not located in a good area. Do not stay here.

The location was great. The decor in the room was nice and beds were comfortable.
The bathroom was really dirty. And it kinda turned us off of the whole room. There was hair in the corners of the tub and it was kinda gross
1.8
The bed was comfortable. The room was adequate for our needs. However the room was obviously in need of some TLC.
Area wasn’t that great. Property appeared very old and in need of some serious updates.

Liked the price and location
It wasn’t as clean as I expected and the towels were not soft.
1.8
they actually had smoking rooms
the tv screen kept glitching
1.8
It was really nice being walking distance from the casino.
There was something in the bed to make us break out in hives real bad. We were kept up all night by it. We had to put on our pants shirt and sweatshirt before we were even Annie to sleep.
1.8
proximity to america dome
smell, cleanliness, small TV, surroundings, safety of the area
