My sweet home

It is very clean .we can find everything,there is coffee,tea, tissue , soap for the dish washer and iron . It was very near to supermarkets and metro stations.

Ruime comfortabele kamer/studio binnen handbereik van Manhattan

Top lokatie, naast het metro station die je zo naar Manhattan, Brooklyn of JFK airport brengt. Heerlijk dat je niet midden in de drukte van NYC zit, maar wel alles binnen handbereik. Studio/kamer was ruim, keuken compleet met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een week. Aantal keer gebruik gemaakt van de keuken, zodat je niet 3x/dag eten hoeft te halen.

Bij de ingang is er een receptionist, totaal onduidelijk wat de functie is aangezien alles digitaal via de Sonder app prima is geregeld. Zou logisch zijn dat je tijdens kantooruren dan ook niet de code voor de voordeur hoeft te gebruiken, maar dat moet wel en dat was eigenlijk het onhandigst. Op zaterdagavond waren er zelfs 3 mensen (!), verblijf kan denk ik iets goedkoper als er logischer wordt nagedacht over inzet van personeel.

Ładny apartament, świetnie skomunikowany z Manhattanem i wspaniały widok z okna

Fantastyczne miejsce! Apartament śliczny, biały, czysty, w stylu loftowym, minimalistyczny. Świetnie wyposażona kuchnia. W recepcji dostęp do produktów takich jak kawa, filtry do kawy, cukier, kosmetyki itp. Świetna opcja z szafką, z której w razie potrzeby po prostu można pobrać te produkty. W recepcji zawsze jest ktoś z obsługi, można zwrócić się z pytaniami. Bardzo duże łóżko, wygodne. Największe wrażenie zrobił na mnie widok z okna, prosto z łóżka można podziwiać panoramę Manhattanu, pijąc kawę. Świetny początek dnia. Budynek znajduje się przy samej stacji metra i pociągu, przez co jest głośno, szczególnie pociąg hałasuje, także w nocy, ale przy zamkniętych oknach nie przeszkadzało mi to. Blisko do marketu.

Jedyne co mi się nie podobało to sztywny i sformalizowany sposób rezerwacji - żeby zarezerwować, koniecznie musiałam zarejestrować się na stronie Sonder, podać dane, zweryfikować numer telefonu za pomocą podania kodu wysłanego przez sms. To był dla mnie problem, ponieważ miałam nieczynny telefon, wyjęłam kartę sim, żeby przez roaming nie nabił mi się jakiś gigantyczny rachunek telefoniczny. Zamiast tego, miałam dostęp do internetu, whatsappa, maila. Kiedy mailowałam, żeby inaczej zweryfikować moje dane, niż przez sms, nie dostałam żadnej odpowiedzi. Zestresowało mnie to, bo lecąc do Nowego Jorku nie wiedziałam ostatecznie, czy moja rezerwacja została zaakceptowana i po wylądowaniu będę miała gdzie spać. Żeby dokończyć rezerwację, ostatecznie włożyłam sim i sczytałam kod z smsa. Super byłoby jakby Sonder odpisywał na sprawnie maile i jakby była elastyczność podczas rezerwacji, można przecież zweryfikować numer także przez whatsappa, nie tylko smsowo. Poza tym jednym mój pobyt był super i chętnie wrócę do Sonder.

Fijne plek voor gezin vlak bij metrostation

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Vlak bij metro en supermarkt. Twee badkamers is een fijne luxe, de douche is erg prettig (wel een beetje laag).

Geluidsoverlast van bovengrondse metro. Keukenuitrusting beetje mager, dus alleen simpele maaltijden koken.

Great location, very clean and spacious. Excellent for short or long stay.

Very close to public transport. There was a local supermarket close by and as the apartment had a kitchenette we were able to prepare our own meals sometimes. Very spacious for a studio apartment. It was a pleasure to come home at the end of the day. Lots of hot water and excellent water pressure.

The apartment was very hot, so we left the windows open at night which meant we could hear the trains.

Good location for USO.

Great room, clean, bright. Location was good for the US Open & Manhattan access. Right by subway (7/E/G) & across from Trader Joe's.

LIC is sleepy if you're used to the city - everything closes early and there is nothing to do there. They could use a lot more luggage storage so you're not stuck there after checkout before a flight. Late checkout should not have a fee. The hair dryer needs to have an OFF button - it constantly runs unless you unplug it and the only place to put it down is the sink, really poor design.

Good location near Court Square subway station with excellent connections to Manhattan, Brooklyn and airport. No keys required as everything works with a code and the app. Trader Joe's supermarket and excellent 24/7 diner across the street. Moma PS1 a 3 mins walk away. Great view of Manhattan. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The train around the block does make noise, but you get used to it quite quickly. Fold-out sofa in the living room is not very comfortable.

The people were lovely the access and air conditioning or easy to control and the location was perfect close enough to be in Manhattan in minutes far enough away to be quiet.

Had to key numbers into the lift as a dyslexic I found this quite hard.... A Bluetooth connection like the doors of the room would be perfect.... Not a problem to most people

My first visit to Big Apple for 10 days has become a memorable one. A bustling multicultural mega city, this Queen of all cities is very special. The food, the people, the transportation and Sonder accomodation overlooking Manhattan skyline and Court Square subway - all together and my visits to many tourist spots in the city is an unforgettable experience. My wife and I are giving special compliment to Zac, your security guard for his exceptional help.

A beautifully appointed property in a great neighbourhood!

This Sonder met and exceeded my expectations. The location was in a great area - easy access to Court Metro Station, two minutes walk Traders Joes, and lots of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. The door code system made everything easy, having security was definitely a plus. The two-bedroom suite was huge by NYC standards, two large bedrooms, beautiful kitchen/dining area, and large living room. Roku system, cable channels. Filled with natural light in every room from windows. Bathroom large and supplied with quality products. The kitchen had beautiful dishes, glasses and cutlery, top quality appliances, and knives. The decor is calming and minimal, the property was super clean, and beds and linens top quality. Really appreciated the supply cabinet on the main floor to top up supplies. I have stayed in various airbnb properties in NYC, but this Sonder is where I will return to time and again.

I really have nothing negative to report. If someone is sensitive to noise, the train ran below our living room window, but something that is easy to live with. Did not affect sleeping.

Fantastic

You have an absolute gem of a property at Sonder. So very close to the subway and minutes away from Manhattan. Food, diners and bars very local. Apartment was very clean, smart and everything we needed. I will be recommending Sonder to friends and family that's for sure.

There was not one thing we didn't like about the property. But we did complain that someone had been smoking cannabis on the 9th floor by the lifts the smell was absolutely horrendous. But this was dealt with and everyone was sent an email regarding this problem.

DO NOT STAY HERE

The place is clean. It is in NYC. There is adequate parking nearby.

BUYER BEWARE: this is a ripoff. Sadly, Booking.com is part of the problem. To begin with, there is an above-ground subway line right in front of the building. Booking.com deliberately hides this in the fine print and Sonder is aware of this and says nothing. So, unsuspecting foreigners and others will book this for a week and find that they will get ZERO SLEEP. Also, there is no one there, and I mean no one to help you. Good luck getting into this place at night. If you have not gotten your code, prior to arriving you are going to be in BIG TROUBLE. Also, the air conditioning is not good. The room was hot most of the time. And, the toilet flushed all day and all night and there was no one there to do anything about it. So, if you like noise all day, you want to be in a place with zero services, and pay $500+/day, go for it, otherwise, avoid this place like the PLAGUE.
