Good value for your bucks

Location, king size bed, clean, not noisy at all, great AC unit

The tv got no signal - we couldn’t use it

Nothing, it's a motel, not a hotel! They have hourly rates, & I was charged waayyyy to much for that dump!

Horrible! It's a motel, you don't get complimentary breakfast at a MOTEL!

Nice stay

Location and less noisy minus the construction.

Parking spaces too close and people don't park in slots correctly which makes the rest of us have to park wrong in the slots and get our cars banged up.

It was ok. Clean, ok area.

Only thing I did not really like is the very, very uncomfortable bed. It literally felt like we were sleeping on file cabinets. I really think we were because it kelp making the noise every time we got up out the bed.

Place is nice, clean and the one staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful.

One minor drawback, they are using covid as an excuse not to have the continental breakfast, whereas the place I stayed the next night in San Antonio served a nice hot breakfast buffet style.

Very nice will stay again

Had to stay another night in Houston because the hospital doesn't let siblings stay. Had to scramble last minute for a hotel and didn't want to stay at the garbage one we did the night before. Great hotel and decent price.

I understand with covid not having a continental breakfast but would have been nice.

Nice place with terrible construction traffic.

This is a nice well maintained place that I would stay at again. Traffic is bad at times, so if it is backed up to Holly Hall Street then take the backroads to Naomi Street to cut around the backup.

Almeda is under construction right in front of this place and the access road has two of three lanes closed. The light at the freeway makes the problem worse by only letting three or four cars thru at a time. At peak times it can take over 20 minutes to get from Holly Hall Street to the entrance. A good trick is to use Naomi Street to cut around the backup. WEEKEND traffic is not an issue.

Great deal

This is a small motel that is privately owned and is probably a family run operation. Despite it being old it is very well maintained. I've stayed here on several occasions and every room I've been in has been recently renovated. The rooms are nicer than other more expensive places like the NRG Holiday Inn. The parking lot is very well lit.

It's not their fault, but traffic is bad due to construction. Between 4:00pm and 6:00pm is the worst, but if you come a back way on Naomi Street you can miss most of it.

Clean, quiet room with friendly staff.

Absolutely immaculate inside and out. They really take pride in their establishment. It was also very quiet while we were there, which made it very relaxing. It’s close to the zoo, the reason for our stay.

On the Marque in front of the hotel and on the website, says continental breakfast. When arrived was told, no breakfast!! no coffee, no nothing.

GREAT STAY, AND WILL STAY THERE AGAIN!

Registration desk clerk was amazing! He talked to me as if he had known me for years, making me feel welcome and at home, and I felt very safe. Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean and roomy, and a very quiet location. Also, a great value for the price.

Disappointing

It was cheaper with better rates and close to MDA.

It had a strong musty odor, didn’t have a shower curtain, didn’t have any coffee in room or in the lobby, TV kept going out with no Wi-Fi.
