I stayed in room 110 next to laundry and dryer was on a timer to keep spinning. very disturbing trying to sleep. I called front desk and they turned dryers off.

Great Road Trip Stop

We spent a very comfortable night at the Microtel in Hamburg - we got in late after a long day on the road. It is close to the plaza with an amazing Cabela's and also Cigars International, which we found convenient. We enjoyed unwinding at Pappy's on the premises - a warm, friendly atmosphere with some terrific live music. We slept well in a spotless room on a comfortable bed and we're on our way early the next morning after a quick breakfast provided starting at 7am. The price was especially satisfying because we were only there 9 hours - this is definitely the perfect road trip stop, and we will stay here next time we pass through... Thanks to everyone at Microtel!

Cheap Hotel in Every Way

The location is good. Everything else is substandard. .

The hotel is very dated. Poorly maintained to the point that they haven’t even bothered to repair the Microtel Hotel sign out front to identify the property (for many months if not years). Staff is not friendly and even told me that if I had left 5 minutes later after their checkout time they would charge me extra. The room is cheaper (in every way) than competitors around them but I highly recommend spending a little more to stay anywhere else! I won't be staying there again

Great stay for the price

No complaints. The location, price, room size, everything was great and check in/check out was quick and painless. very convenient having Pappy T’s attached to the hotel.

Breakfast selection was very scarce.

Breakfast was skimpy, mostly prepackaged, no fruit choices,.. But we wanted a relatively cheap but not fancy place to sleep and this was it.

No microwave or coffee maker (they were stolen too often?), micro tv, peeling wallpaper, squeaky floor, no automatic doors.

I was glad it was only one night.

The location was about all I liked

The breakfast was only grab and go pre packaged items. The bed sheets were stained so I requested replacement sheets. I got some push back from one of the staff saying it was just a thin place. Another staff member gave me another sheet and I changed it myself. I had to borrow an extension cord from the motel because their was not enough outlets at the bed for our crap,s.

Not Wyndham's best

maintenance in our room was lacking. Peeling wallpaper, very squeaky floors. Tile in bathroom was coming loose from the floor. Good luck finding this place from the highway without GPS. They have.no exterior sign and they are on a secondary road. Only a small handwritten sign on the front door that can't be seen from anywhere but the sidewalk.

Very enjoyable accommodations. Helpful staff although short-staffed.

The location was nice. The rooms were clean. The lounge was nice as well.

Wish the breakfast was better. There was no one on duty when we checked out. And no instructions on what to do, where to leave the keys, or get a receipt. Had I not stopped a kitchen staff member I wouldn’t have known to get a receipt via email. Although I still have not received it.

Staff was great, efficient, very accommodating, polite, and friendly.

Breakfast "buffet" was poor. In my opinion there should have at least been bagels & bread, butter, cream cheese, peanut butter, & jelly, maybe even apple butter or applesauce, none of which requires cooking on hotel's part. Just need a toaster on the counter. And ice for juices in case people like me like ice cold juice, or for iced tea/coffee.
