Rooms large enough, well-decorated, electronic fireplace and very pleasant garden space for each room, overlooking marina and river. Good basic breakfast and a chill pool on a barge by the marina. Tesla destination charging also a plus.Short walk to Dock square and lots of shops, restaurants.
Pool quite cool. Hot tub would make it heaven!

room, location great
heat through the wall was very noisy and kept us up at night.

Nice room with a nice view. Just a few mins walk to the town. The whole contactless approach is a nice touch with digital key and messaging system. Loved the free snack surprises in the morning. You can park the car right outside the room. Check in/check out is easy and seamless without any need to interact with anyone. Even with no interaction they made sure to keep in constant touch with the phone messaging. So anything we need is just a text message away.
I wish they had the bar or restaurant open for off season. But the town is few mins walk. So not a huge deal.

We planned to stay for three days
but we’re able to snag an extra night and enjoyed every minute of the charming room. Loved the outside table and chairs so close to the river. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, this is the place. #7
Nothing.

I looked the cleanliness, newness, and location
the room had a weird smell to it ( musty)I suggest maybe a automatic spray few times a day

The location is fantastic, sitting on your Adirondack chair by the water with a coffee in the morning is such a great way to start your day. The room is spacious, cosy and comfortable, and the place is very quiet. Exceeds expectations, and good value for money. Have just finished a New England road trip and this place was one of the the best spots. Also very friendly manager. Thanks

LOVED the decor of the room. Awesome. Beautiful bathroom. Housekeeping staff were exceptional--very friendly and helpful. I didn't realize that the hotel is actually like an old-fashioned drive-up motel. We liked that vibe, actually, and loved our river-front chairs, sliding glass doors to the lawn, etc. So that part was great, and I would say exceeded our expectations. Loved the quick drive down to the ocean...lovely views down there, loved seeing where the Bush family entertained heads of state.
IThe hotel isn't really run like a hotel--nor a B&B. I think most hotels/B&Bs are overpriced these days, and I would put Yachtsmen Club in that category. As I said above--beautiful decor and very comfy so no complaints there--just a little short/strange on the service side of things. [Getting a refill for the keurig in the morning was a hassle.] We were shocked to find it impossible to get breakfast anywhere in Kennebunkport, so that was a big negative. Given that there were no options in town--the motel should do more to help guests with breakfast. The 'pastry bag' breakfast was ridiculous--I wouldn't pay 1 cent for the store-packaged pastry. If restaurants can operate--and they do--why can't the motel do something for breakfast?? That's my biggest complaint--get over the covid phobia, people! My other complaint is that the right sliding-door-window in our room was smeared...The housekeeping staff feels the smear is on the inside of the glass panes. But that seems strange. [The main selling point of the room is the view--but when the afternoon sun shines through that window/door [which it does for several hours a day]--a smeary window really detracts from that view.

The view out in the back of the room was so tranquil(boats, and water view) and the Adirondack chairs on the grass is really nice. Love the virtual front desk.
The breakfast could have been a little more extensive

Great location - all rooms on 1 floor by the marina/boat docks. Nice views. The staff are incredibly friendly and were always accessible. Room size was more than expected and nicely decorated.

Excellent location to town. Beautiful view. Loved the private viewing area to our room. Short drive to Walker’s Point.
Several bees in our private viewing area. I’m allergic so I had to be careful. Shrubbery needs to be trimmed a little bit.

The location was perfect...eaay walk to the main street. The accomodations were lovely and spacious. The outdoor seating area on the water was perfect.

Beautifully decorated room. Very nice to be right on the water. Sitting outside with the Adirondack chairs watching the boats and the water was really peaceful. It was also really easy to communicate with concierge. Love that they text and respond quickly. They got us whatever we needed and had great recommendations for things to do around the area. Breakfast in the morning was great! Its in a great location as well. A quick 5-10 minute walk to the center of town. The complimentary bikes were a great touch! Very comfortable bikes as well.
The lack of housekeeping service, which I believe is because of COVID restrictions, so not necessarily a negative as whole but rather a circumstance of the times. We stayed for 4 nights so there was a build up of garbage. It would be helpful is housekeeping could pick it up daily or if they had an area that you could throw out your trash on your own. Also, include additional coffee refills in the daily breakfast package. We also found a dead bug in our room.

I loved the beautiful design of the room and outdoor space. The communication with the staff was easy over text during COVID. The room was very cozy and comfortable.
I only wish there were more breakfast options and that the bar/drinks area were open.
