We chose this place as it was near where a course was on and it had a swimming pool
I don’t like buffet style breakfast where food is left out for self service. There was no way to have poached eggs only scrambled or hard boiled eggs . This is a particular bug bear of mine also couldn’t get pot of tea, it was tea in a cup which is not tasty

After reading some of reviews, was a little concerned, but presently suprised. Staff were extremely helpful. Had a little complaint about quality & temperature of snack that evening in the bar, I mentioned this to a member if staff & reply was very satisfactory, there wasn't a confrontation ( no need) but dealt with efficiently. Car parking was a bonus.Thank you.
A little disappointed with the soap pump over bath, seemed v poor quality ( no lather) . If this hotel has aspirations to be a 4 star, may need a rethink.

Clean
No air conditioning and window could not be opened. Although only 16 degrees outside, it was unbearable inside even with 3 fans in the room. This ruined the whole stay as spent as little time as possible in the room, opting to stay out until bedtime it was so unpleasant! Very difficult to get ready in the mornings as using iron and hairdryer caused further sweating!

Can't compliment the staff enough they were extremely welcoming and so helpful and always nice to be greeted with a smile definitely best hotel I have stayed in along time I'll 100% be back

parking is free and underground which is a rare find in Dublin which is a real positive. Staff that checked us in were very pleasant. Great to find a hotel in Dublin with a pool at a reasonable cost.
it’s very tired. Our room had a lot of stains on the ground. The leisure centre really really needs updated. Very run down which is disappointing, they also don’t state you need to bring pool hats and will charge €3. Wouldn’t have minded but if we had known we would have brought our own. The dirt floating in the hot tub was awful.

It was a short stay but a lovely experience

Use to stay here every trip back to Ireland. Gone down hill recent years. Very expensive when compared to other options.
The property is not very accommodating when compared to the majority of Irish hotels. My flight was cancelled and I immediately sent notification to Maldron requesting a change of date from the airport. I also phoned but they refused to move date for me and charged full amount - they even charged me for breakfast and the taxes on the room even though I requested date change the day before. I won’t be staying at Maldron in future - they may have gained a few dollars but they’ve lost a regular customer.

I never went for breakfast the pints of 00 heniken was warm in bar ..when I was in bed there was a smell of curry chips off the pillow covers
Warm and friendly

Comfy beds and very clean facilities.
Rooms were really big and spacious.
I asked for two prosecco for the toast at a wedding. Never recieved them. Went to another table I was told. Staff were a little rude but ok. Drinks were waay too over priced for service. I ordered a prosecco after mine went missing and was told more had to be brought up, waited ten mins at the bar to be told there was no more. The manager poured the missing prosecco from another prosecco glass to make up at same level. Then charged me for them. Cant remember price off hand but it was very expensive for location and lack of propper service. Food was ok. Vol u vents were a little dry but nice.
Very slow service all night at the bar at Sinead & Waynnes Wedding, but thst did'nt ruin our night.
Lifts broke entire time so spent most of the night trapcing up and down 5 stories. Stopped on ever floor everytime regardless if people there or not too which made it worse. Not staffs fault, tech error that needs to be fixed.

Food and staff are very helpful.
Location accessible to mall, Train and buses.
I requested to clean up the room, but I came back from touring and still noticed refresh the room, room was warm using electric pan no ac.

The family room was spacious and we had a comfortable nights sleep.
There was a bad smell as soon as we went into the room, it was coming from the bathroom. There was a towel placed over the shower plug hole and I assume this was to disguise the smell.
3.8
Comfortable
Room wasn't suitable for a wheelchair
3.8
The breakfast was OK, had varieties option to choose.
There was no Air condition, that should be updated. There is no fridge in the room, and there's no room service. I believe all above should be updated; to bring more customers in.

Finola and her staff could not have been nicer to us when we checked in ,our room was perfect and as we expected spotlessly clean, our breakfast was lovely and plenty of it.I will definitely be staying again.
Nothing

Gym and location.
Having only 1 lift in operation makes it difficult moving around.

I was phoned at after 9pm told very blunty my room wasnt available. The woman on the phone couldn't have had a worse attitude, offered no reason or solution and when I told her I was very stressed she just said 'do you need to speak to a manager or something' and patched me through without so much as an apology. The manager was much better and apologised and gave a reason and also relocated me, but I wouldn't stay again. I had a conference early the next day and really could have used some notice or better communication. Unfortunate as I enjoyed my stay previously and would have been a return customer.

super comfy. nice restaurant

I had a lovely stay, fresh towels and teabags everyday, what more could a girl ask for?
It would be handy to access Netflix or Disney+ on the tv

location was a bit sketchy to get to public transport
3.8
Very nice and cozy big rooms and very friendly staff! totally recommend! We’ll definitely return there on our next trip to Dublin!
3.8
Hotel was nice, could be a bit cheaper, it's a but pricey considering it's so far away from the city centre and the rooms are so small
3.8
Staff member serving at the till of the carvary was very pleasant
Tv was broken...took three hours to get it sorted out. Hair in the bath, bathroom could do with a bit of a deep clean
3.8
Very clean room .breakfast was very good with lots choice
The restaurant service was very slow waited over hour for my main coarse
3.8
The staff are incredibly friendly which makes up for other failings
The beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows were awful, the curtain in my room was hanging off and when I got back into the room it was on the ground. Someone else's shower gel was still in the bathroom.
