Unique, Safe, and Friendly
The rooms are really unique. The whole esthetic is unusual and cute. Its memorable. There was a hot tub in my room! The water isn't super hot but, you know, its still awesome. The attention to detail in decoration is charming. The place is kept safe. The staff are sweet people. Room is very clean and towels and sheets are provided. The location is interesting-- its tucked away quietly inside of one of the ultimate party streets in all of Columbia. It is on a street packed with restaurants and discos. I'm giving them 9/10 because they hold up their end of the bargain and the price is more affordable than some of the inflated Pablano hotels.
Lleras Park is gross. Sin city but with enough saints to make it weirdly special. High end restaurants, boutiques, photo ops, and all night discos, yes. But the downsides-- You cannot bring a guest to your room. This is the case all throughout Lleras Park and maybe other places in Medellin too. Most or all of the hotels around Lleras have this policy. Any guest must pay full rent to visit. This is due to what's going on outside. There is a TON of drugs and prostitution woven into the greater neighborhood. That is not the hotel's fault, but you should be aware. Never leave your drink unattended, for real...

Economical stay in the heart of the party area with great staff.
Location is excellent. It's loud from street noise but that didn't bother me. For light sleepers it might not work.
The power went out 2 of my nights there which meant no wifi, no recharging phones, no tv, no fans, no lights, etc. etc. Clearly not ideal and hope they have that transformer fixed so it doesn't blow again.

Disappointing
Breakfast is only two hours in the morning. The personal visitors' policy is terribly unfair; it doesn’t mean extra guests in the room. I mean that if you want to have a visit in your room, even if it is for five minutes, it’s impossible unless you pay for an extra person in your reservation.

Poor
The location.
The breakfast was terrible. The room was tiny and extremely stuffy. It look like a place where people come just to spend one or two hours to do "their business"

I advise against it.
It’s cute and it smells good. That’s about it.
This hostal is on the loudest street in Medellin, and some of the rooms are directly on the loud street. It was fine during the day, but once the sun goes down you can hear the music from 15 different establishments blasting all at once. Bass shakes the windows when they’re closed and drunken screams emanate from the walk street outside until 3 am. The room gets stuffy and has a smell of damp mold if the windows are closed for too long, so that’s what you sleep breathing. If you decide to stay here, confirm that you will not be in room 4 or 5 because those windows open directly on the noisy party street.

Looks like a nice place but the staff is very mediocre and they could make the place so much better
Rooms are nicely decorated and the location is super convenient! It has a nice balcony/terrace area. That's about it!
The staff unlike said in the description doesn't speak English so hard to communicate! They shout at midnight down the hallways so you can't sleep or get woken up by them. You have no choice for breakfast, they bring you what they want, taken it or leave it... And it's terrible. We are vegan/vegetarian and in 4 days we had 1 pancake! That's it! The cleaners actually left our room keys in the door all day (with our things inside) because they couldn't get the keys out after cleaning our room..anyone could have gone it.. unbelievable! They eneded up changing our room because they couldn't get the keys out and they gave us a room with no wifi and no Ac! The spa bath is a great idea but it takes 1 hour to fill it and half way you ran out of hot water so either you use half a bath or you have cold water. Pointless in my opinion
