The pool/ Nile view room was brilliant as I was able to watch the sunset on the balcony. The pool as well was perfect to sit and chill after the day’s excursions. Rehan was excellent with organising the days for me. I was able to contact her easily beforehand via email and WhatsApp. I had specific requests as a solo female traveller, such as a female guide and private driver, as well as a specific itinerary. She was able to organise the days for me with an excellent guide - Mary - who was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and easy to follow. The car was big and comfortable for the days with longer journeys. Aswan is beautiful and slow paced, which I experienced well with my guide. Rehan was great with arranging transportation for me to Abu Simbel directly to my hotel there as the Egypt air flight was cancelled. I was placed in a comfortable car with a professional driver. The kitchen staff were great with providing takeaway breakfast boxes for those early start days with long journeys. Overall, I felt like the staff were very accommodating and made my stay in Luxor exactly as I wanted it to be - memorable. 24-hour room service provided me with snacks and many cups of coffee.
The bed sheets need updating. They were not soft and a bit itchy due to the bobbles. Better more expensive material bedsheets could be used to give customers this comfort. There are no TV channels apart from one in Arabic.

The view of the hotel was beautiful overlooking parts of Aswan and it was close to the center so location wise it was perfect. The staff was also friendly especially Maria and Reham, both were very helpful so thanks to both of them in addition to the message therapist Nana.
The hotel and its facilities are very worn out. The restaurant is not clean and breakfast there was way below average not to mention that many plates and tea cups were still dirty also. We had dinner the night we arrived and it was also below average. The towels and bed sheets are very old and rust can be found in many parts of the bathroom — the tub does not drain water properly and one of the flushing buttons of the toilet seat do not work; the air conditioning is very loud and makes squeezing noises; internet cuts off most of the time but that was not a huge issue for us as we bought Egyptian SIM cards when we arrived at the airport . The pool chairs are dirty and stained due to long use I guess.

The staff was very kind from arrival to the last minute of departure. We politely asked for a room with a nice view, which we got. It was fantastic! The equipment, the breakfast, the service are as they promise. Basically, we were very satisfied with everything.
On the morning of leaving the hotel, a taxi driver unfortunately backed into our rented car, which spoiled the remaining days in Egypt. It is true that the hotel was not responsible for this accident, but this is Africa! To the hotel's credit, given the circumstances, I think they did everything they could to improve the situation.

Location was quite good, walkable to the centre.
Staff were friendly. Manager remembered my name each time he saw me he seemed genuinely pleased to see me.
Room was very comfortable and clean.
Balcony was huge and facing the courtyard so could see all the coming and goings on in the hotel.
More a problem with Egypt than the hotel but the waiters clearly expected tips in addition to very high service charges.
Expensive for egypt.

The breakfast was very nice with a variety of food and fruits.
We arrived around 9:30 pm. Security was available but we had to bring the luggage’s up to the front desk while making sure my disabled wife didn’t fall down. Apart from that, everything was excellent.

It's a beautifully decorated hotel and property. My stay was at a trying time in April. With the political environment going on in Sudan, many people were arriving at the hotel to get away from there. I think the hotel staff was overwhelmed. Alot of people in lobby waiting for rooms. We had a corner room with a fabulous view, but because of 100 degree Fahrenheit days, it had issues. See below....
As mentioned, the heat impacted the enjoyment of the room. It had 2 walls of windows facing the sun. Even though the curtains were pulled, the room was very hot and the AC couldn't keep it cooled off. We had AC checked and it was working, but the room didn't start to cool down until 3 hours after sunset. It really never got into the 70s. We also had 3 different mini fridges in the room as none of them worked.

Excellent hotel manager! Reham made sure that we were comfortable before, during and after our stay. The hotel has great views, is very well located, the staff is friendly and helpful and the amenities are good. We recommend to try to arrange transportation in advance (Uber doesn’t work and taxis don’t have fix fares)

Location is ok (close to the Nubian Museum & to Sofitel Legend Old Cataract). The Nile view from the "exclusive club".
We have been upgraded in the "exclusive club" a kind of annex above the main building, opposite a bare reception, a tiny bar area and a breakfast room covered in plastic sheeting. The first impression is one of dilapidation and lack of cleanliness.
Very large room ... with a huge kitchen, an empty and noisy industrial fridge, but an extremely small bathroom (even for one person) and not very functional (impossible to put your toiletries). Shower with an unsanitary and impractical plastic curtain. The door of the room that opens onto the terrace is in a kind of scrap metal, letting in draughts and outside noises. Good bedding but lacks a bedside table. Breakfast in the very small room acceptable (but not for the price paid) and limited choice. The few staff try to do their best, with a minimum of empathy.
As we had to come back 3 days later (after a cruise on lake Nasser), we asked to be "downgraded" in the main building, where we got a room with a view on Nile. As soon as we entered the room, we were shocked to see so much dirt on the floor (dust, food remains and hair). The housekeeping intervened immediately... without any apology. Small balcony and good sized bathroom. But when we were about to take a shower, we discovered a lot of long black hair in the bathtub (which we removed ourselves, as we were in a hurry). Unacceptable!!!
No atmosphere at all in this hotel, with lots of staff who ... pretend to work, or do nothing (including managers). The (bad) cherry on the cake: breakfast, served in a large impersonal room, with staff who do not say hello and never smile (including the eggs attendant). Poorly cleaned tables, leftover tea bags by the coffee machine & very untidy dishes.
Last but not least, as we often say, the hygiene of a hotel can be seen in the cleanliness of the common toilets: it was enough to go there at breakfast time (7.30am) to run away in a hurry... I'll spare you the details !!!

the price does not match the actual room experience, maybe we go to Aswan in peak tourist season.

Beautiful views from on top of the hill overlooking the Nile. A little bit of a distance to walk to centre of town but easy enough, otherwise taxis and horse carriage is easily accessible. Lovely spacious room, clean, and very good breakfast buffet. Super friendly staff who are very helpful. Loved our stay.

May be the food was a bit okay else everything was trash
Starting from the hygiene, cleanliness, support , cold behavior of the staff, everything is just not worth the money. I hated my stay there but had to spend the night somehow.

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good breakfast, nice property.
They did not have iron/ironing board available, but offered to iron for us which was appreciated.
The pool area is looking worn and could use some new chairs, more water in the pool, new parasols.
