When we arrived we were surprised by a bigger barn than expected because Gavin build an extra room/patio and bathroom at the entrance with a big window and door. „Belle vue“ indeed. Even from inside the views were gorgeous, let alone from outside.
We had a really good time at the barn. It has everything you need with a big kitchen and living room and the new rooms at the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs with the windows to the street (which didn‘t bother at all as there is little traffic). The stairs are very narrow and steep but no problem for our 18 months old child.
The best about the barn was the driveway with the nice sitting area, stunning view and the three sheep, greeting us everyday and wanting to be crawled. Our daughter loved them!
Gravin waited for us on our arrival, showed us around the house and answered every question we had. When we had a question it was easy to contact him. His recommendations for the bolster moor farmshop and the scapehouse inn (great food!) were really good and we went there several times.
Thank you for the great and relaxing stay at the belle vue barn!

Myself, my daughter and her partner came to huddersfield for a concert and needed a place to stay for a couple of days. After our original place was cancelled we found Belle Vue Barn and i am so glad we did. The barn was in a beautiful location with the most amazing views. We were net by Gavin who gave us the keys and showed us round before leaving us to settle in and saying to call him if we needed anything.
Tea, coffee, milk and cookies had been left and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need.
The place was very clean and felt like home from home.
I honestly couldnt fault it if i tried. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay there again if i was up that way.
Oh and there was also the resident sheep who greeted us everytime we left the barn!

Very clean and well equipped cottage in a great location. Gavin gave us some great ideas for walks and places to eat. This was very useful as it was our first time visiting the area. We hope to return one day as we feel there is still so much to explore.

The property looks small in the photos, but it is actually quite spacious, the surrounding area is beautiful and great for walks, and the view from the cottage goes on for miles and miles. Gavin was very friendly and he made the whole process comfortable and easy. Me and my partner will definitely be going back someday, i definitely reccomend going there.
