Hôtel bien situé, mais n'y allez pas pour l' acceuil

L'emplacement est idéal car l hôtel est à 200 mètres du stade michelin

Malheureusement beaucoup trop de choses : 1) L'hôtel ne m'a pas dit qu'en modifiant 2 jours avant mon arrivee 1 chambre familiale en chambre standard en passant par l'appli booking j'aurai un supplément de 30 euros. 2) la personne qui nous a accueilli était froide sans expliquer comment accéder à nos chambres et elle avait même oublié de me dire le tarif pour le parking avant de regler ma facture et avait oublié de me donner les 2 cartes des chambres.,j'ai dû les réclamer. Pas de sourir ou de mots gentils comme "bienvenue" ou" bonne installation." C'est le minimum en hôtellerie et en plus dans un hôtel 3 étoiles. 3) en repartant le lendemain matin à 9h30, il n'y avait personne à l'accueil pour récupérer les badges des chambres et d'autres clients comme nous on était obligé de laisser les badges des chambres sur le comptoir comme ça. Personne pour nous demander comment s'est passé notre séjour.... juste 1 personne au bar qui n'est pas venu à l'accueil. 4) le 2eme ascenseur était en panne, pour un 3etoiles ça fiche mal... 5) la propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer sur la moquette de la chambre avec des tâches et le bac de la douche commence à laisser des traces d'usure.. pour un 3etoiles. C'est la première fois que je suis moyennement satisfaite d'un hôtel.

L'emplacement par rapport au stade Michelin

La salle pour déjeuner un peu petite quand l’hôtel est complet, et le choix est juste correct. Clermont est une ville de rugby et l'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal pour aller voir un match de l'ASM, mais dommage de ne pas avoir canal + pour les amateurs de rugby qui viennent nombreux dans cet établissement. le parking payant.

brilliant spot, really accommodating (last minute detour ment an unplanned spot!) safe parking, great facilities, nice terrace, lovely breakfast

When we came back from eating in the town centre we decided to have a drink in the bar (it was before 10), when we asked we felt that the girl on reception was not to pleased that we had disturbed her, even though they say it is open till 1am

Rude Receptionist speaks Catalan but not English

It's clean hotel also the most of the staff is polite.

I have stayed at this hotel three consecutive, the 2 first weeks were ok. On the second week I faced some issues with the communication, because the staff doesn't speak good English,but they put effort to bridge the linguistic gap. But the last week I had to do with a rude receptionist who doesn't speak English according to him, ironic and basically he didn't know basic things. E.g I asked to pay for the room ,he changed me in the beginning one night out of 2 , then he realised that one night is not paid and he asked me to pay separately the second night. I asked him to put the name and address of the company where I work on the invoice, didn't know how to do it. He kept speaking to me in french while he knew that I don't speak, and he referred to me twice in 2 days how many languages he speak and which. Congratulations. I speak also three languages. Basically the bad score to the certain hotel is due to this guy, because they hired him while they knew that he cannot speak English. I cannot understand how a company in the industry of tourism hired this guy. He referred me that he speaks Catalan among the other 2 languages he can speak. Really useful information for me. Conclusion: A bad decision (hiring the wrong person) is costly and this is responsibility of the management!

The hotel was conveniently located a very short walk from the Stade Marcel Michelin which was the reason for our visit. Whilst it was only a 15 / 20 minute walk for the main city centre there is also a tram stop almost right outside. Free secure parking is available.
