I complained about the tv not working and they never sorted it out

Very spacious room in the annexe with an extra bedroom for the kids! Plenty of toiletries and little extras! Beds very comfy and clean.
Very dog friendly and breakfast was fresh and plentiful with lots of choice!
Would definitely stay again and hope to next year.
Not much really! teeny tiny complaint was that none of the wall lights worked and so it was quite dim with there only being a small window. We couldn’t watch the tv as the Wi-Fi was playing up I think, and the lamp in the kids room got worryingly hot when on for a short time.

It was near my destination
Dirty. Smelly. Massively run down. Shower was broken. Very noisy at night with traffic and other guests. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Toilet stank and didn’t flush. No staff on site. Restaurant was shut every day due to “no staff”
2.5
Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast plentiful and well cooked.
Fan in bedroom.
Bedroom window would open wide.
Car parking.
Automated check in - scanner of code went into 'error' - receipt machine ran out of paper - had to fetch bar person to help check in.
Very hot, uncomfortable small bedroom.
Bath/shower mixer tap very hard to move and establish correct temperature.
Dogs sniffing our feet from next table during breakfast was quite unhygienic and offputting
No daily cleaning/restocking drinks in room - only every 3 days.
TV remote would not work TV.

Our ground floor room was very well equipped .We had ample tea items, even hot chocolate!
The main road was a bit noisier than I remembered from our last visit.
4.5
We were given a suite on this stay which was excellent, bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Last time we stayed we were in a standard double room which was small, tired and uncomfortable. Breakfast had good choice.
Bathroom door wouldn't stay shut or lock.
2.5
Hotel was nice and clean
Rooms were far too hot, breakfast was horrendous and the bar was closed when we returned at 11.15 despite being told it would be open
1.0
not much
We didn’t think it was even allowed to let out a room with no window . all that for a ‘standard double room’ just just shy of £100 (without breakfast)

Did not eat at the hotel the room was clean and comfortable
The room was very small we requested a king size bed and the Bath towels were too small

The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the food in the restaurant. That said, I did think the food was overpriced.
The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
I did think the room was overpriced, particularly as there was no breakfast included.
Would I stay again? Probably not, I am sure there is nicer accommodation in the area for a lot less than I paid.
There was no way to change the shower to "spray" and it came out in a narrow stream. I ended up having to take a bath. Having said that, the bath was nice as it has been 20-years since I last had a bath.
The Ants! Room 12 had loads of them.

Is fairly near the town
Bright green light in the bedroom and a flashing light right above the bed. Reception had no eye masks despite it saying that they would be available. The toilet seat was broken and the TV in the room wasn't set up. Also there was a kettle but no plug best enough to the desk to plug it in. After I complained about a disappointing stay I have received no response, which is not a good sign

The shower was great.
Service at dinner was slow because they were only two staff having to do everything.

Close to the wedding we were attending.
Plenty of parking.
Rooms dated and the road noise was difficult to sleep through.

Staff were friendly and helpful and there was good storage for our bikes. Breakfast was nice enought.
My room was small and pokey. Tiny shower room/loo - shower door very hard to open to get out! However travelling companions were happy with their rooms. Place as a whole a bit shabby.

Shower was not much more than a dribble

Breakfast very good.
Emergency lights showing all night.

The cooked breakfast was nice (though the egg yolks weren't runny).
We ordered tea and coffee at the bar. When I went to pay, they said not to worry about it and didn't charge us, which was a nice touch.
The downstairs lounge and dining area looked modern and nicely decorated.
Plenty of drink choices at the bar.
General Noise:
Loose & creaky floorboards in room 7 and the corridor made it impossible to move around without making a noise. Likewise, the bed so so loud you couldn't get up in the night without waking up your partner. There were very loud banging and clattering noises at 4:30am which woke us both up. This lasted about 15 minutes. My partner was able to get back to sleep but I couldn't. Then, at around 6:15am, a loud humming noise woke up my partner. I can only assume this was from the shower of an adjoining room as, when I used our shower, it was noisy.
The shower itself showed no obvious signs of how it should be turned on. This was due to the strange looking on/off tap being almost seized so we didn't think it moved. It took some work to be able to move it to get the shower to work, and to shut it back off again. An elderly person wouldn't stand a chance. Also, the shower head had three settings: normal, massage and jet. The normal setting didn't work.
I'm not sure if it was the water or the kettle, but when we made a cup of tea there was an oily scum floating on top which also coated the cups. Needless to say we didn't drink it.
The staff weren't very attentive: We were left standing at the check-in desk while 2 staff members discussed the menu. We were also sat waiting at breakfast for a while before our order was taken. While eating breakfast, I saw guests on two separate occasions stood at the dining room entrance waiting for a staff member to acknowledge them.
4.5
buffet breakfast when it was a busy time with lots of guests
check in
my room and the beautiful garden outside my room
the dinner - the courses we had were lovely but the restaurant closed before giving us course 5 - the cheese platter with no explanation
I did not receiver the blinis and bubbles

Breakfast and the hot water WAS hot.
Room was terrible.one curtain was hanging down at one corner , reported on arrival NO ACTION taken to rectify. Room had 2 radiators NO method of control i.e. Not thermostatically controlled. Ceiling paper had been wet at some point was stained and hanging off. Carpet damaged in several places had been BADLY repaired. 2 armchairs had collapsed seats. The Inside of the bathroom door was very badly discoloured. The facia panel below the shower was hanging off. There was dirt and debris at the junction between the shower facia, the wall and the floor. The floor covering in the bathroom was bubbled and lifting. The water in the sink would not drain unless the plug was manually held up as the weight of water pushed it open. Room VERY noisy due to proximity of traffic .

The Location was perfect for our requirements and the breakfasts were good.
The room although adequate for our needs was looking a little tired and would benefit from a little TLC, also the bathroom radiator was rusty although working.

Good breakfast. Very nice restaurant/bar. Staff friendly.
My room was a bit tired looking. Frayed carpet, wallpaper coming away from wall in places. Room 9, main building.
