Not good at all

Good location

I am never one to write reviews but there was a mouse in my room when staying at the hotel for a work trip. I was then downgraded into a room with dirt on carpets and felt like i was in a hostel. I was unable to settle the whole night and the sound of the tube rattled the whole building each time it past. I over spent on the room as it is so to be downgraded and then only offered £20 as a refund which still hasn’t been processed after 2 weeks is a joke. Such a shame when the superior room itself was lovely.

Assolutamente da non perdere!

Mai stata in un posto - pagando una cifra ragionevole - così accogliente, curato e nuovo a Londra. Il tutto conservando quel fascino inglese. La struttura è intima, a veramente due passi da Paddington station (quindi comoda per Tube & Train). La zona è tranquilla. La stanza doppia è mini ma proprio carina. Il bagno nuovo, moderno. Un gioiellino a venti minuti a piedi da Marble Arch (l' inizio di Oxford Street).

Great location, clean, well decorated and spacey room with too many stairs.

The room was spacey and clean. Our window was looking to a park. The staff were kind and helpful. There was free drinking water that you could fill up your bottle with.

They did not have hair dryer in the room and you had to ask the reception for it. One night I took shower and there was no hair dryer available and I had to sleep like that in that cold weather. Also, there are too many steps if you’re staying upstairs and it gets hard with suitcases. There is no elevator.

Super Anbindung, fantastisches Personal!

Leider sehr laut (von der Straße und Vibration durch die Züge vom Bahnhof Paddington, sodass alle paar Minuten das Zimmer laut vibriert hat) trotz Ohrstöpsel und die Matratze und der Polster waren sehr hart. Haben den ganzen Aufenthalt nur unruhig bis garnicht geschlafen

Clean, friendly and secure but very VERY basic

Fantastic location literally 3 min from Paddington station. Everything was very clean & staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. Very safe and secure with keys retained at reception which was manned 24/7

The room was really small and incredibly basic, even for a budget hotel The bathroom was a caravan style unit- you couldn’t open the door of it without pushing the 2 single beds together, effectively making the bed into a double-not great for two mates sharing! The TV was smaller than an average laptop screen, the window was about 5mm too small for the window frame - so it was just dangling on its rope support No kettle or drinks in the room- there was a communal coffee station in reception which was chargeable £2 a cup!!

Perfect!!!

Another hotel that I'm surprised does not have a higher rating than 7!! This is stunning!! It's in a perfect location just 3 mins walk from Paddington, overlooking a lovely gardens. The house is beautifully appointed with gorgeous modern decor. I met a variety of staff and every one of them was polite and friendly. They man the desk 24/7. There are tea and coffee facilities on the landing. My room was gorgeous!! I felt like I really lucked out finding this place.

The fact its not got a higher rating on here!!! A small inconvenience is the fact there are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms and I couldn't find a hairdryer but that is all!!

Very Good!

The hotel runs by a family which will do there best to keep you comfortable! Each one of the staff members always welcome visitors with a smile and kindness, the hotel very clean, safe area and have great location near to paddington station and Elizabeth line, they also provide for free the option for keeping your belongings in a safe way during the day after checkout, near by you can find bars, restaurants, supermarket (Tesco) and more.

The hotel do not have lift so if it is hard for you to climb stairs please ask for a room in the lowest floors or underground.(in any case one of the staff members always offer is help, do not worry)

Great location and very tidy small hotel just minutes from Paddington Station.

Location is vey handy, so close to Paddington station & we walkes to many sites from the hotel. Tidy rooms & small balcony. Helpful staff. Lots of cafes & restaurants around.

Repetiré seguro

El diseño del hotel, sin lugar a dudas, ha sido lo que nos cautivó. El más bonito de la zona con diferencia en relación calidad-precio. Personal muy amable, las camas cómodas. Muy recomendado.

Very nice hotel, would definetly recommend!

Surprisingly well renovated and tastefully decorated hotel in a nice area, close to Hyde Park and with a good bus connection to the center. The room was small but very welcoming, the bathroom perfectly projected and executed, high quality workmanship and products. Personel very helpful and always available, quite rare these days. I would suggest placing a glass in the room, as guests might want to have water not out of a bottle. I will definetly return!

Comodissimo alla metro

Struttura tipica londinese. Abbiamo chiesto un piano alto e hanno accolto la nostra richiesta assegnandoci la camera al 4 piano anche se non c’è l’ascensore. Al nostro arrivo ci sono state consegnate due chiavi per due camere diverse e ci hanno fatto scegliere quella che preferivamo (molto apprezzato). L’hotel è comodissimo alla stazione e alla metro così come ai locali per la cena e colazione se non si vuole andare in centro. Circa 20 minuti e con là meteo si arriva a trafalgar square. Ci ritornerei

Camere piccole e interamente di moquette (tipico). Purtroppo non ci sono i phon nelle camere ma su richiesta in reception vengono imprestati. Manca l’ascensore ma essendo un hotel così grande sarebbe stato difficile inserirlo. Nel complesso tutto bene

Ottima esperienza che consiglio!

Il mio soggiorno presso la struttura è stato ottimo. Il personale era garbato e ci ha fornito oggetti come adattatori (che non avevamo) e phon senza nessun costo aggiuntivo, il dispenser di acqua è stato essenziale dato che il costo dell’acqua a Londra è abbastanza elevato ed infine la camera era piccola ma accogliente con una finestra che dava sul cortile che aveva una vista londinese mozzafiato. La posizione era ottima, vicina alla metro che abbiamo presto tutti i giorni ed il quartiere tranquillo.

L’unica pecca è stata la scelta dei cuscini che l’hotel ha effettuato perché abbastanza scomodi.

Great value and central to everything.

Amazing location. Miniyes to Paddington tube and train station. So handy having Heathrow Express nearby.

Our room was on the ground level, facing the street. Therefore noisy at night, with guests hangong oitsode our window; with eqrly morning construction and with the rattling from Paddington subway/tube cars every new minutes. Very glad i brought earplugs, which helped immensely.

Locatie dichtbij paddington station, schoon hotel, vriendelijke medewerkers.

Kamer erg karig ingericht, geen faciliteiten als koffie of thee, waterkoker, magnetron of wat dan ook beschikbaar op de kamer.

À 5 minutes de la Gare Paddington

Hyper bien placé, Gare de Paddington à 5 minutes, Heathrow Express pour se rendre à l'aéroport en 15 min. Accueil très chaleureux, machine à café à côté de la réception ainsi que distributeur de snacks, possibilité de remplir gratuitement sa bouteille avec eau plate ou gazeuse. Lits très confortables même si celui pour deux est un petit peu étroit. Le passage du métro se ressent mais ne nous a pas dérangés du tout.

Fantastic! Well worth the money.

The hotel was SO central to London/Paddington. We didn’t realise when we booked how close it was, this was great for all our travelling around the city. The hotel was immaculate and our room was great for the value! The bathroom we had was beautiful and we had no issues with the room at all. The beds were made every day as well as being provided with clean towels everyday.

Not really that much of a negative but due to being so close to Paddington you do feel the vibrations of the underground until early hours of the morning. Not a significant issue as we got use to it and it didn’t disturb us.

All the staff were magic. Friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were modern and lovely with a nice view. Very comfortable bed. Super convenient location.

I found it a little hot in the room, but there was a fan. I also do still like the old fashioned tea making facilities in the room, and missed that.

Comfortable stay

Booked last minute after missing my train home due to late flight. Reception was 34/7, very friendly on arrival, room was tidy and clean, I slept well and had a hot shower, what more could I need.

A nice place to stay but maybe better in winter.

The location to Paddington Station. Restaurants, shops and coffee shops within a short walking distance. Shower was powerful and the ensuit was a great size. Everything was spotlessly clean. The price was good for Paddington but the facilities are bare basic.

The room was extremely hot. Even with the window opened and the fan on it did nothing to lower the temperature. The stifling temperature prevented good sleep most nights. I know it is the middle of Summer but we found ourselves spending more time away rather than return and endure the temperature. . The cleaning staff also opened the door while we were in bed without knocking in the morning. Once was forgivable but this happened twice.

Superb

The receptionist who checked ys in was very good, he upgraded our room sunce my mom cannot use the stairs due to her age and we’ve got luggages. So he upgraded our room for free! so that we can stay on the ground floor and not use the stairs. Thank you so much!!
