The hotel is really good value for money, but at my age I could have done with a room nearer the ground.
Staff/owner very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, perfect accommodation for a city break in London. Bed was comfy. Very good value.
Bathroom was very tight for space.

The room itself was very spacious. The furniture was nothing special but the room was clean. Nice amenities with having a kitchen and refrigerator.
The credit card machine was not working when we arrived and we almost had to find a way to pay in cash, which would have been inconvenient. However, the next day, the credit card machine was fixed so that issue was resolved. We were given an upgraded room because of this issue, so that was nice.

Reception sorted out a late check in for us as we were stuck in traffic and arrived a lot later than expected

the worst experience possible, NEVER COME HERE AGAIN
I get put at floor MINUS 1, in a cave for 450 pound for 3 nights, without any apologise. I said nothing, i accepted to be in a cave for this price.
For the last day i miss the alarm, the clean woman came at 12h05, knocking at the door, i was sleeping, i forget to put the alarm, i said i would pack my stuff in 5 min and leave.
At 12h15 the cleaner told me they want to CHARGE ME EXTRA MONEY. For what beeing in a cave with very bad equipment? she was very arrogant. i said i am the customer don't speak to me like this. And she keep beeing disrespectful saying she do whatever she want. She told me she doesn’t care I am the client, and keep beeing outrageously disrespectful. I went to the reception to complain and they didn't even apologise, i just can't believe it still now.

Great location, right next to the Sherlock Holmes Museum, Hyde Park, and Oxford Street. I also walked to Soho, which was really nice.
There are lots of stairs and my room was on the last floor. There is no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage all the way up. I had asked to check in early, which was OK'd by the hotel beforehand. However, I had to stand by the reception for quite some time until someone showed up to check me in. I was given the keys, but the room was still dirty from the previous guest. Luckily I left the "please clean my room" sign and came back that evening to a clean room, but the first impression was horrible.

The staff are very kind and take good care of guests. It's well located, and has all a person needs for a working visit to London.
My only caution is that this hotel has no lift, so if you have any mobility issues, it's not for you.

Obviously had a refurb and was spotless, convenient for the bars and restaurants in Marylebone.
Bed wasn’t comfortable and had those quilt covers that make a sound every time you move. Man on the desk was really hard to understand, we had messaged to stay we wanted to leave our bags, which was fine, but there was no one on the desk and the language barrier was difficult with the man there. We did get there in the end. Tough walk up five flights of stairs if you are on the top floor.

perfect location with lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs just around the corner and Baker Street Subway in 5 minutes walking distance.

Excellent place, near to Baker street and Underground, with lots of places to eat and supermarket to buy basic things. Clean apartment, spacious room with two double beds, with a table/ 4 chairs to eat breakfast.

Really clean, really quiet, comfortable and very well equipped (iron, hairdryer easiliy accessibe) kitchen area for breakfast or quick meal a real bonius for me as I was travelling for work and preffered to eat in.
The rooms are great - some like mine were up quite a few flights of stairs up. So if you have heavy luggage make sure to ask for a room on a lower floor.

Location was excellent and things were very clean. The reception area had a cat!
We noticed on our last day that our smoke alarm had been covered by a plastic bag. Reception was a little overly casual (didn't check my id or credit card when checking in) and the room, while spacious, felt sort of empty.

Family room was a good size and was immaculately clean.
The beds were very comfortable and the owner friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet.
For our visit to the West end it was a good distance away.
Addional pillows would have been useful.

This delightful building is conveniently located 5 minutes from Baker Street Tube. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. I loved that it had a mini kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. It's a quiet area and I had peaceful, undisturbed sleep whilst there. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
My room was on the third floor and there isn't a lift. I'm fit and healthy so was fine with this.

Brilliant clean room with very amicable staff.
The walls are too thin and we could hear almost everyone around us.

Besides the great location, the room was beyond my expectation: large, clean and homey. The staff of the inn was really helpful and welcoming, answering every question with a smile on their faces and giving advice on how to get around. Felt like I was visiting friends I haven't seen in a while, so it was great!

Waiting at reception
6.0
Location suited me, the bed was comfortable (but very short like most beds in the UK) and the room was quite large with a large dressing mirror. I was able to open windows as well.
I was given a wifi code on check in but it didn't work. My room was on the 3rd floor which involved 5 (!) flights of stairs with a suitcase and bag as no lift. Low water pressure in shower. I found various translucent white stains on the headboard of the bed as well as on the little decorative plain on the bed - I removed the ones on the headboard and decided not to think about their provenance too much. Sink in bathroom had been wiped but not really cleaned. Because the reception isn't manned and I was in late and out early, complaining was not straightforward.
