Great location. Comfortable
Bathroom too small. Banged toilet paper holder every time I sat on the toilet
4.5
Lovely location.
The bath/shower needs an upgrade and the fan in the bathroom was particularly noisy.

Great owners. Lovely hotel in a great location. Views were magnificent. We had to leave before breakfast so we couldn’t rate it but I’m sure it would have been as excellent as everything else.

excellent. Good choices

Amazing location upon a hilltop overlooking the coast and cliffs of Moher. Lovely old hotel/guesthouse with it's very own castle ruins. The property has a top notch restaurant which served us dinner and breakfast. Also there is a bar off the lobby for a pint anytime. Parking was plentiful. The grounds were beautiful. The owner provided a history of the property and a castle tour. The castle was in great condition. Meals were amazing, other guests were lovely to meet and talk to.
Bathroom facilities are old but certainly workable.

This was the best place to stay! The location was amazing! The tour of the Castle is incredible! It felt very luxurious and still welcoming and lovely.

The staff was amazing, food was delicious. The private tour from the owner of the 13th century castle was unbelievable.

Beautiful old manor house, family run, excellent restaurant and all round wonderful, comfortable place to stay. Old castle on the property and happy to learn about the history of the castle and house. Wish we could have stayed a few days longer to relax. Close to The Burren, Cliffs is Moher and Kilkee cliffs.
5.0
The location is beautiful countryside with panaromic views to ocean and cliffs in the distance, with old castle in grounds dating back over 600 years.
A sundowner in the quaint bar, a surpurb dinner that matched and surpassed dinners we have enjoyed at Michelin resturants, a diamond amongst gems, and proprietors and staff wonderful.
One of my best stays and thus most highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Very friendly staff and a interesting historical tour at 18.30 of the Castle by the owner which is well worth making. Nice dinner & breakfast and a unique overall experience in a modernised hotel in part with history!
Maybe some ramps on the short set of stairs to the bedrooms & entrance for heavier wheeled bags or chair users for ease of access!

Dinner was fantastic and breakfast was great too. The rooms were very nice a real
Irish experience of a bed and breakfast. The proprietor gave us a tour of the castle and was great.
Nothing the experience was great

Very nice manor property by a castle. Nice rooms, staff, location and food.
5.0
The location was perfect and the staff very friendly. We had good food (dinner the first night and breakfast both mornings were all great). The bonus was getting to tour the private castle on site. Location (close to the Cliffs of Moher for a day of hiking) was perfect.

Beautiful location and hotel. Very friendly staff. Owners on property and provided a tour of the castle. Excellent delicious breakfast.
We liked everything

The location is a good bit further from Doolin than we had expected but the hotel is in a beautiful location and the view from our room was exceptional. The restaurant is superb, worth a visit on it's own.
5.0
The view where stunning and the food was excellent, breakfast and dinner. Really enjoyable stay.
Nothing, everything was super. From check in to check out. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone going for a weekend away.

This is an exceptional hotel. Great corner room with two large windows overlooking the sea (Aran islands). The restaurant on site is very good. There is also a small, intimate bar. Common spaces are also great!

Breakfast was exceptional, great variety. I broke from the norm and had fish.
Nothing not to like
3.0
The views from hotel
The staff exceptionally friendly
A number of things-
The bathroom mirror had rust all around the sides.
Tea/coffee facilities in top of wardrobe, odd and dangerous.
Breakfast was ok but disappointed at excessive use of plastic for jams
Dinner again was just ok, certainly not 4 star standard.
In general place lacked character- reproduction antique furniture . Bathroom dated.
Excessive use of plastic/dried flower arrangements
In summary completely overpriced for what was on offer
