Places worth visiting nearby.
Aguapalace Cestlice – 12 min walk – one of the biggest water park in Europe, with 10 water slides, a lazy river, an outdoor area, whirlpools and grottos, sauna and a lot of bars all over the area. Word of warning – for visitors with small kids. Undertake Prague sightseeing first as the children would prefer to skip the Prague bit and go to Aquapalace again instead. www.aquapalace.cz/en
Pruhonice Park – 10 min drive - Discover one of the largest landscaped parks in Europe, with an area of 240 hectares, located in the rugged valley of a meandering river. The park is on a UNESCO World Heritage List along with the historical centre of nearby Prague. The Park is a truly splendid place for relaxation or a romantic stroll. The end of May, when the rhododendrons bloom, is definitely a great time to head to Průhonice Park. However, you can go at any time of year and you will always find something to see.
Konospiste Castle – 20 min drive on D1 motorway - set in deep forest of Bohemian countryside this château has become famous as the last residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir of the Austro-Hungarian throne, whose assassination in Sarajevo triggered off World War I. Some spectacular private collections can be seen inside the chateau. www.zamek-konopiste.cz/en

My family and I had a wonderful week in the fantastic house, perfect for 8 people the fifth room a bit small and no fresh air, but we managed. A lot of help from Idas father and Ida herself via email or phone so thank you for a wonderful stay

We came to unwind after a Prague old city visit and found all we wanted.
Great space for the family. ( we were 5 adults and 2 kids : 6 & 3) pool time was great. We couldn’t get the girls out of the pool. We enjoyed the garden BBQ. And had a family soccer game.
We would love to visit again

A wonderful place, quiet area, not far from the center, there is very frequent public transport. The owner of the house and the assistant are very generous. The place inside the house was crazy, we were 8 people and it was enough for us so much that I felt that I was alone in the house, the house was equipped with everything that was needed, we brought nothing but clothes. If I'm back then just there. Highly recommended!! Alex
