Flat 2 of the Old Fruit Warehouse is a deceptively large ground floor Flat which has been beautifully refurbished and tastefully decorated into a holiday home. NEW FITTED LUXURY BATHROOM SUITE AS OF FEBRUARY 2024. It is located in the centre of York, less than 5 minutes walk to Monkgate Bar Walls and less than 10 minutes to York Minster. It has the benefit of its own allocated parking space to the rear of the property. It is ideally located in the city centre with all of York's many attractions, bars, cafes and restaurants on the door step. The racecourse and designer shopping outlet are within a 10 minute drive. Both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. The property offers a large bedroom with king-size bed, wardrobe and large drawers. It also benefits from a large double sofa bed in the living room. There is also a cot available. There is a Bathroom with L shaped bath with shower over bath, sink and WC. Hand soap and towels provided. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen including electric oven with gas hob, larder fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. When its time to relax you can enjoy the comfortable living room with large sofa, LCD HD 32” Flatscreen TV with freeview, DVD player and small DVD library, a selection of games, Ipod Dock and free WiFi Internet access. There is a dining table with 5 chairs and a High Chair.

The location is close by everyplace you’ll want to go in York. The apartment is spacious with all the amenities you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Take the steps at Monkgate for a nice walk along the Wall. For a fun way to see the city that’ll take you to places you wouldn’t otherwise visit, try Baja Bikes. Cecil gives an outstanding bicycle tour.

The apartment was immaculate the owner kept us fully informed and it was as expected very close to the city centre we walked every day into the town we chose this apartment because it had its own parking space and once parked we didn’t need to move it again this is a great location and would recommend it to all we are an older couple close to retirement and found plenty to do.

Perfect location, just a short walk to the old city walls, in a nice neighborhood. The flat was immaculate and it was obvious the owner went to great lengths to keep it that way and to make guests welcome. Great communication, comfortable bedroom and living room sofa-bed with separate doors for privacy. Nice sized bathroom with tub and shower. Fully equipped kitchen was smallish, but very functional.

Flat was easy to find + within walking distance of York minster and everything round about. I would definitely try to stay again if I find myself in York another time. It was clean + had plenty dishes + all equipment was easy to use. Hot water a plenty + comfy bed and bed settee.

Just a short walk to the City Center with all the things we wanted to see and do. Very quiet flat with a complete kitchen should you want to cook meals and a short walk to a supermarket if you need anything to do so. It also is set up up for children so families with little ones will be pleased with it. Angela responded promptly regarding the one issue we had. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this to anyone wanting to visit York's city center.

Very clean unit. Just outside the city walls. Does have a parking space if needed. We walked everywhere and only took taxis to and from the rail station. Easy to find your way around. We found several grocery stores nearby. Would highly recommend.

While the property is in a good location for access to the town it is very noisy,not only from the outside environment but also the residents overhead. There was an issue retrieving the keys from the key safe, which was also a problem returning the keys to the safe which took several attempts due to the operation of the digital buttons, The bed was not comfortable, definitely past it’s best. The bath/shower, is an accident waiting to happen, the bath being smooth and slippery with no hand rails, definitely a challenge for those getting on in years.

The flat is easy to find, has private parking space, and was very clean and well-furnished. It looked even better in person than it did in the listing ad. A short walk to city centre with its history, shops, restaurants, and lovely green areas. Our only problem was we could only get hot water in the shower.

A well equipped flat with good WiFi and a large SMART TV (Netflix etc). The flat is in an excellent location for the city centre (a 10 min walk to the Minster). Lots of eateries nearby and very close to Sainsburys. The private parking place for central York was a real bonus. The decor in the flat although bland, it has clean lines and functional for a stay for a few days. A stay longer than a few days would be enhanced (and feel more ‘home from home’) with better quality soft furnishings and few more pictures on the walls (only two in the whole flat and none in the lounge).

this property was close to the Minster the shambles and town centre. Private parking space was great.The flat was clean and tidy. However having two older teenage girls they really should have had a second bedroom rather than fold down couch in living room. TV didnt work properly which we were warned about.

This was a perfect little flat! So neat and tidy and the owner was super accommodating. The washer was great since we had been traveling over a week. We were steps from the mid evil walks and city centre! My family of five enjoyed our stay very much!!
