Bike/Hike the new trail just steps from your door. (Nordic ski in the winter.) Furnished with top-of-the-line king bed, wifi, and roku! Enjoy coffee as songbirds sing their morning serenades. Stay-in or stroll into Stillwater for its wide variety of restaurants. You’re surrounded by gardens here with indigenous plants carefully cultivated by the owner. This upper level studio was originally a craftsman’s workshop for making harps. Ideal for writing retreats, cycling w eekends or romantic getaways. The office is on the first level, so if you need work space while your honey is watching a movie, you can both have privacy.

Everything about this weekend was amazing. Liz was an excellent host and was always great with communicating with me and made us feel right at home. We had great weather all weekend. We were able to sleep with the windows open, fall asleep to the crickets, and see the stars through the skylights.

My husband and I stayed at this comfortable rental studio for 2 nights, visiting relatives in Stillwater. The unit is a separate wing of the host's beautifully landscaped home and has 2 levels. The first level has a work area with a desk, comfy chairs, and a small refrigerator with reasonably priced beverages. A flight of stairs leads to the main living space; it is quite spacious with a comfortable bed, small kitchen, nice bathroom with walk-in shower, and a seating area with a smart TV. The unit is very well stocked with toiletries, towels, paper goods, and kitchen gear. The host [Liz] is gracious and easy to communicate with. One of the nicest rentals we've ever stayed in...we hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this studio. Great and very quiet and convenient location! Apartment has everything you need. Soft and comfy bed! My only suggestion is to grab sleep eye mask with you if you are bothered with early morning light in your room.

It's rare I stay a second time at a property, but this one is worth multiple visits! The studio is beautiful and peaceful whether you hsve a sunny or rainy day. The sky lights are a gorgeous plus and the property has everything you need. Quiet street, close to downtown and great restaurants. Communication with the host is always prompt and helpful. Liz was so easy to contact and communicate with! Her studio was quaint and cozy. Not walking distance to downtown, but rather a mile and a half by car only. We wanted close but not busy! That’s what we got. We wish we could have stayed longer than overnight as her studio would have been ready for coffee, cooking, lounging and more! Would love to stay there again!

We came to Stillwater for a wedding. We were SO happy we chose this absolutely lovely, charming, beautifully decorated, kept and landscaped place vs. the recommended hotels in the area!! We loved our private getaway with a party (the wedding) in the middle of it!! Our only regret was not getting to meet the host. Despite such, we’re fans!!

My husband and I needed a place to stay prior to picking up our daughter from summer camp in Minneapolis. Several friends recommended Stillwater as an alternative to the city. We brought our bikes and enjoyed great paved trail rides as well as fantastic dinners at Feller and Domacin Wine Bar. We each had to work part of the day and the loft was well set-up for that. Super clean and well thought out space in a quiet location. Thanks Liz!

Very comfortable, quiet, nicely appointed spacious studio. Great location for exploring the Stillwater area, yet still close enough to the Twin Cities to drive for a baseball game, museum visit or concert. Owner Liz is very nice, responds to questions or needs very quickly. Highly recommend!!

This property is the perfect spot for a couple who wants to explore Stillwater and the St. Croix River Valley. It is beautifully decorated and private, even though it is part of the owner's property. We loved being able to walk the Brown's Creek State Trail (which is 5.9 miles long) each morning and then walk into Stillwater for breakfast! We will stay there again!

This property was fantastic all around! Liz the owner was always available. Landscaping and overall look was beautiful. This loft was perfect. Roomy yet cozy. It was a ten minute walk to downtown Stillwater on a great bike walking trail right outside the door. We are booking again next year and recommending this place to all our friends.

Our stay with Liz was so wonderful! We were getting away for the weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Check-in was a breeze and the space felt like a little home away from home. The kitchen was so well stocked that we were able to comfortably make breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The king sized bed was super comfortable and you could look up and gaze at the stars through the skylights. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back for a stay in the future. Thanks Liz for being such a marvelous host!

The house was perfect for a long weekend in Stillwater. It was very comfortable and true to the advertisement. The host was warm and welcoming, the space felt very private and had everything we needed. It was about a 20 minute walk to downtown Stillwater on a great trail system. Would definitely return.
