A most enjoyable 3 night stay. The accommodation was very comfortable in a great location. We enjoyed long walks with great weather, many thanks.

Comfortable well maintained. Great facilities.
A little unclear on entrance as satnav picks farm entrance. Sign posting along road would be helpful.

Location was excellent
We were only there for 2 nights. The first night the heating didn't work so we kept the oven on all evening. 2nd night we were moved to a different property which was so so much better. Host gave us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience too.

We only spent 2 nights at Appledram Manor. We had one of the converted farm buildings. Nicely decorated, we were out a lot so didn't get to use the cooking facilities much, but the house was well equipped. We were told where keys were, but the host came out and met us. Very pretty area, and quiet, but easy to get into Chichester and surround. Plenty of parking, plus near to walking paths, and getting to the coast. Relaxed and friendly.
Because of our age my husband and self were a bit anxious about what was described as a somewhat spiral staircase, but it was a proper staircase but fitted in on a curve, a little narrow on the steps for us but generally fine and with a rail. Younger grandson with us had no problems.

shame that nobody greeted us on arrival to check that all was ok. Had to ask the handyman where the local pub was!

Lovely furnishings. Great size. Spot is so quiet.
Self check in so flexible.
Everything needed in kitchen.
Parking was not clear especially for more than one car but not really something I didn't like. It worked fine just wanted to be sure it was not an issue parking a 2nd car.

Lovely location.
Disappointing coms from Jack. We whatsapped him on the morning of our arrival to ask about a pub for dinner and he ignored the message.

We were greeted by a friendly staff member offering us any help we needed. The cottage was cosy and warm with the Christmas tree and garland very inviting. The garden is large and beautiful with birds visiting every morning. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was a perfect place to escape to with the peace and quiet surroundings we hoped for.
Nothing. Only downside was not staying longer!

couldn’t get coffee machine to work but think that may have been operator error!
4.0 / 10.0
The cottage was very nicely presented but was neglected with worn out items .The double bed for instance had a huge ridge down the centre and one could sleep eirther side of the ridge ,but not in the centre ! The washing up machine was badly maintained with no "Shine" liquid filled in ,- worn machine. Many other small things were apparenty not cared for, giving the impression from the owner: "I have your money, you have your cottage, job done."
I have written some of these things in the section above. The landlord was totally antisocial, not showing his face once during our short stay ! This I feel when renting holiday lets , is a bad business ethic as people prefer to feel welcome . Neglect of properties and tenants: - Guilty as charged !

A beautiful, spacious, comfortable property in an amazingly convenient location: dog walks from the door, a dog-friendly pub with lovely food 10mins walk away, a short, inexpensive ride taxi into Chichester.
The tv situation left quite a bit to be desired but we didn’t choose it for the tv.
