A nice hotel, but beware the busy road.

Overall the property is clean and well-presented. The room was a good size. Breakfast was good.

There's a fair bit of noise you can hear from the busy A-road immediately outside the hotel. Maybe we could've researched the location more, but there's nothing mentioned in previous reviews despite a lot of their rooms being in the same place as ours. We booked the Blenheim room, which was fine but actually didn't have a free-standing bath as the picture suggested...we didn't say anything as it wasn't a deal breaker, but was a bit frustrating.

A hotel that gets all the little things right!

The staff were all absolutely lovely!! They were so kind and welcoming, and they really went above and beyond at all times. The room was big and the bed was really comfortable. White fluffy towels, lovely toiletries and everything was clean and easy. Restaurants on site were both fantastic.

Nothing, we thought it was really wonderful.

The venue, the staff, the service just all spot on! Such great value for money. The courtyard area the atmosphere of the bar just beautiful and comforting.

It was a little hot in the room and didn’t think to look on the wardrobe for a fan.

Great find for a single night stay

Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Cosy bar and again, great customer service.

The bed was super comfy, but the pillows were old and lumpy making it hard to sleep soundly. The room was well appointed with everything I needed, but the chair at the 'desk' was so low I couldn't stay to work as I had intended.

A wonderful weekend away for couples

Beautiful location and the decor was lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful snd accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious even the coffee was brilliant. We had dinner at both restaurants and the food was delicious. I did find it all a little pricey.

Needed comfy chairs for the patio off the garden rooms. I am a keen birder, and sat watching for them a long. Would have been nice to have a proper relax.

Very comfortable room with all facilities. Pleasant surroundings in open countryside. Good restaurant, very friendly staff.

Poor wi-fi in our room, but it did work. You need a car to go anywhere, but there is a large garden area to walk in.

Absolutely loved it, we will be back!

The whole place was lovely, the restaurant was exceptional. Great staff, location and overall value. I feel like we have found a lovely little gem!

Overhead lighting in the rooms was not ideal, no drawer handles made them very difficult to use. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, pillow could be better.

Very nice and extreemly helpful staff throughout. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Lovely large towels - it is the small items that make the differnce. A toaster that actually worked correctly with out having to wait ages for it to toast or haveing to go through twice!

Shower was over the bath and had a fixed head with not a lot of presure - enough but not a lot. Would have liked there to have been a flexible shower head as well. Door to the bathroom opened the wrong way round - minor item. Had to go out into the rain to get from the room to the hotel reception and resturant bar area.

A super hotel for a relaxing break.

We stayed at Crouchers Hotel for a long weekend. Our room was stylish, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of sockets and good quality tea and coffee provisions. The breakfasts were out of this world. Superior breakfast menu which would be hard to find in London. The dinners in the hotel were just as impressive. There is also a fantastic pasta and pizza restaurant on the hotel grounds which we also enjoyed. The grounds are pretty but will be more attractive in the spring and summer. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful

The bathroom was very clean but the grouting around the bath needs replacing
