Excellent B&B great accommodation great hosts.

Excellent hosts excellent accommodations. Lots of high quality finishing touches, great breakfast. Top quality.

Everything was great Tv in the bedroom was very small but is only an observation vs modern standards.

Lovely break

David and Peter made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely comfortable room, furnished with character. Breakfast was fantastic.

My only minor gripe was our bed was a little hard, although all the bedding and towels was a very good quality.

An absolute gem.

The breakfast was superb, all freshly cooked quality ingredients with a great choice too. The hosts were absolutely charming and the accommodation was spot on. Great for a lovely relaxing break.

Relaxing and peaceful, the perfect getaway.

The breakfast was fantastic and value for money, perfect portions and perfectly cooked. They also use all local produce and we could eat in the garden or dining room. We received a very warm welcome from Peter, he explained everything clearly and was very knowledgeable about the area. The whole stay was very relaxing, we arrived as guests and left as friends, we will be staying again.

There was nothing tha i didn't like because everything was absolutely fabulous, clean, comfortable and picturesque. Have your morning coffee by the pond and watch the fish.

A perfect place in every way

It's not often I feel compelled to write a review but sat up in bed here in a beautiful room perfectly made with crisp white sheets and pillows to die for I felt I really should. We're lucky enough to travel quite often and to stay in some amazing hotels, villas, Airbnb's, and everything in between all around Europe and lots of the world. This little B&B doesn't come up short when you compare it to most we have stayed in and when so much hard work has clearly been put in to make their guest so welcome you have to do your bit to say thank you and write a review. It's beautifully decorated, with good quality everything. As I've already mentioned the bed is lovely, complemented with lovely furniture and rugs covering a perfectly restored wooden floor. Calm colours create a relaxed atmosphere and our ensuite bathroom with shower over the top just makes this a great place to stay. The Breakfast was to die for with fabulous quality everything, from real apple and orange juice to cereals and toast to the full English we enjoyed. Thank you I didn't eat another thing until dinner. If you're looking for a place to stay and explore the surrounding area then you couldn't base yourself from a better place. I am very happy to thoroughly recommend this lovely little place.

Exceptional stay with charming, welcoming hosts.

My husband and I have just had an exceptional night’s stay at this property. We stayed in the Florence Humphreys room which was spotlessly clean with lots of added little luxuries provided such as toiletries and tissues all being environmentally friendly. Peter and David were warm and welcoming hosts from the moment we arrived. We were offered tea and biscuits which we enjoyed in the communal sitting room. Breakfast was wonderful and the quality of the ingredients very high. We were even offered, and accepted, to try some homemade rhubarb and ginger jam which was delicious. The property itself is delightful and full of charm with lots of history, more of which we learnt about during our stay. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. It is wonderful and you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
