Simple and clean- good value for money

it’s an older building with quite an old bathroom- this was expected for cheap price paid

Because I was gone to do office work, so it met my expectations somewhat for two days.

The team was casual and hospitable. I was satisfied with them.

It wasn't a big deal to say the least. Staying in a local neighborhood for two days got a good score.

Great location near to the city's main attractions, comfortable and quiet, and very friendly owner.

Great location, awesome owner who's super sweet and helpful. Even though I didn't speak Portuguese, he was very kind and helpful in any way he could.

Superb

Owner is very nice and lovely. Although he didn't speak English, he tried hard to explain the nearby attraction. I arrived early at 10am and was allowed to check in the room early. Room is basic and have everything you need.

It was Sunday when I visited the city and 90% of shop closed.

value for money

Very basic room, but you have everything needed. Private bath (shower) is OK. Located in the centre, many cafes nearby. It's a business district, but at night it's quiet. Surrounded by walking only streets, so noise of the cars won't disturb you.

Great value and location - friendly authentic stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The couple running the Inn are lovely and I felt very safe and welcome. I loved the location and felt it was great value. I accidentally left something in the room and the host even came to the bus station to find me to give me my things.

Very good value for money considering the price

This is incredibly good value for money. Yes there is no AC and the whole place is a bit tired and old fashioned. But at the price they wanted you get a large bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom (again not very modern, but considering the price). Central location is ideal too.

If you need a place to sleep and can't find or afford anything better, this will do.

The best part was that it was very quiet in the evening and one of the beds was very comfortable. The host was very accomodating and insisted on carrying our heavy bags up the three flights of the narrow staircase. The price was unbeatable if the negatives don't scare you away. Location was great. Many small shops nearby.

Sewer smells from the restroom - it is apparent that the venting\plumbing is not up to current standards. The water pressure from the shower is very weak - think low pressure garden hose but from a shower head. Security - the key to our room is not unique; I discovered by accident that it opens other units as well. Security - The balcony door\window does not lock and the balcony is easily accessible from other units.

Old house. No frills but for the price... The location is great. The value for money is better than great. It is a traditional place. If you want 5 star luxury pay for it. Check in was easy. The owner spoke no english but we got by with my poor spanish

Nice stay

Room has everything you need. Has a certain old school charm. Hotel runned bij nice elderly couple. Gave some great advise to watch some fado concert and breakfast place. Also the little heater was great.

The celing is not so soundproof. Could hear people walking around in early morning.
