Nice, practical and clean little house. Very calm neighbourhood, nevertheless short walk to the centre (less than 10 mins). Attentive and responsive host.
Basically, nothing to remark here.

The property was excellent in every way. It was central, very clean, comfortable bed and very well equipped. The host Evelyn left butter cheese milk oatcakes biscuits and fudge all locally produced for us on arrival. she then looked in later that day to check if everything was ok.

We were staying here while visiting parents and family. The house was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. It is very close to the centre of Kirkwall. There was a lovely gift of local produce on arrival. Can't fault this place. Evelyn popped by to make sure everything was okay.

We were on Orkney for 6 nights and this house was just perfect. Great location, quiet, easy to find and 5 mins walk from centre of kirkwall - also 5 mins drive to airport for trips to smaller islands. Very well equipped kitchen with nice quality items. Evelyn left us some bread, butter, milk and there was tea/coffee and cleaning supplies.
Nothing at all. I highly recommend this house.

All on ground floor so easy for my husband's mobility. Big garden at back. Near cathedral etc. We all slept like logs.
We had problems controlling the heating as it was storage heaters and was sometimes too hot . Would have liked hooks to hang up coats, dressing gowns etc

Clean, tidy, quiet area, parking in road always available. Short walk to center of town. Food provisions provided were appreciated.
Poor Internet speed and unreliable.

Everything was excellent

Very clean! It was super central, walking distance from lots of cafes, restaurants and bars. Nice and spacious, good garden and we had lovely weather which was a bonus. We loved it and would stay again.
There was an ironing board but no iron. I did send a message asking if there was an iron but I didn’t get a reply. We were up for a wedding so really needed one, otherwise it wouldn’t have been a big deal.

Very comfortable & well situated, close to town!
Our only slight niggle was the WiFi which was very very slow! But, maybe that’s common around Orkney!

Felt at home as soon as we walked it .. And the little personal touch's for my girls were a lovely thought
What can I say our stay was fantastic. We could not have asked for better. 10/10

The property was clean, tidy and extremely comfortable. It had all the amenities that we needed making it a home from home. On arrival we were welcomed with some local goodies that the owner had kindly left for us. The property is perfectly located for easy access into town just around the corner from the stunning St Magnus cathedral. The beautiful Inganess beach was also accessible on foot 2 miles away. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, she checked to make sure we didn’t need anything extra during our stay and even allowed us to stay late on our departure date so that we could go straight from the accommodation to our ferry which was after check out time. She was also prompt with replying to messages on booking.com.
