Fantastische liggen in een magisch landschap. Fijne kamers, goed eten en vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader!

we booked the igloo stay which came with a private sauna. The room also had wine and chocolate awaiting for us. We reached early and they were happy to accommodate us with an early check in. We dined in their dining hall and loved the food. Staff ensured our drinks were made just the way we like it. We also booked a cross country ski and the they were very patient with us cause we knew nothing about it and kept fall. We also booked a northern lights tour and though we din't spot the northern light on that day our guide ensured we were entertained through out.
nothing really.

The igloo room was really amazing. It was so special. And, it was also equipped with a Finnish Sauna as well.
The food at the buffet restaurant was also very good and the price was also reasonable.
The surrounding environment was really beautiful.
I used public transportation but it is not easy.
4.5
Amazing location , riverside log cabin was so cosy for a group of 4 and food was great
Activities and transfers seemed to be more expensive booking through the resort, than some of the other hotels or companies

dinner was okay but could have been a bit better considering the price of the hotel

Amazing resort in the northern heart of Finland. Great value!
Splendid food at the restaurant. Super tasty. Great igloo that is well designed to offer a clear view of the sky without light glare on the windows.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Get some tours, we liked the ski experience.
The bathroom floor is cold as F. No slippers are provided, so get some yourself or you're gonna suffer.

The reception staff is quite rude, the food is scarce, I expected more, since the price per night is very high

Remote location in a peaceful and quiet surrounding in the woods, nice and helpful staff, delicious food, sauna in the room
Not a big deal but wifi also in the rooms and not just the main building would be welcome. As there was no TV in the room, we could use wifi at least to stream some music.
4.5
Breakfast and dinner were very good. Lovely food and lots of choice. Dining room staff were very helpful. Reception staff less so.
Reception staff could have been friendlier and more helpful.
4.5
good facilities and very clean
Bar staff were very good as were waiters
Reception were good but were unable to cater for a friends 60th birthday cake. This did not seem a massive request at the time

The property is gorgeous, we stayed in an Aurora cabin and it was just that. Sitting in the sauna watching the northern lights dance by. Once in a lifetime amazingness
It would of been nice for some of the walking trails to have waymarks

A magical place! The staff were helpful and considerate and could not do enough to make our 4 night stay a pleasure.
We stayed in the Aurora Cabin for 4 nights and it was excellent. The sauna in the room was also an added bonus.
The buffet food was good. In the two other hotels we stayed at in Helsinki and Lapland, both had Porridge on the menu for breakfast.
All in all a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Wilderness Hotel, Muotka to anyone.
We were a bit disappointed not to have on the menu. That would have warmed us up for the day.

Food is nice, sauna in room is great, staff are friendly, parking is good, views are great, Husky safari was excellent. Nice to have room cleaned everyday.
Not enough space in room for hanging clothes or packing clothes. For the price expected facecloths in bathroom. Pillows kept falling off bed as there is no headboard at bed. Salt clumps in scrambled eggs, everyday.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The Aurora cabins were stunning and the hotel accommodation was so cosy. The food was great and had an excellent range. Overall 110% recommended

We liked the stay at this resort. It was priced a bit on the higher side but the excellent breakfast and dinner which was a part of the inclusive half board compensated for the price. The hotel staff were really helpful and welcoming. We didnt have a kettle in the room and was provided by the staff at an instant request. It is a wilderness resort and so its completely calm place to stay. They also provide all kinds of winter sport activities but we didnt book anything here as ours was a short stay.
A special mention for the awesome food spread , especially the reindeer curry.
Wilderness is too much wilderness :D , getting to this place to/from Ivalo airport is easy(1-2 buses each day, specific timing) but its really difficult if one wants to catch a bus to Rovaniemi like we did. Taxis are available to get to the nearest bus stop but of course its pricey.

The location of the resort is out of the city, in to the forest and is a perfect location for spotting northern lights.
The igloos were cosy and comfortable.
The buffet served in their restaurant was good and had lots of varieties.
The staffs were quite helpful.
The rooms were clean and each of the igloo is equipped with a sauna.
The activities are quite pricey and we couldn't do much of the activities as most of them were pre-booked. I believe, they should keep some slots available for hotel guests. The ice water pool was closed and the next available pool was around 5kms away.
The resort has only one restaurant and only buffet is served.

All staffs were very kind and friendly. I enjoyed the stay and the optional tour that the hotel provided. One of the tours I joined was the husky safari and it was amazing! Fantastic experience! Additionally, the meal was very delicious. Needless to say, the view was so beautiful. We could see the aurora from our hotel. I want to go again someday.
