Amazing stay with the most welcoming and friendly hostess

Hostess was incredibly friendly and very welcoming. Amazing location in the mountains and great mountain views. Amazing delicious breakfast.

The wine, kindness, hospitality, and location were oustanding. 100% recommend.

Hosts were perfectly kind, the hospitality was outstanding. They are very generous with the figs, tomatoes and wine they grow, and everything tasted delicious. It was really a perfect experience. Everything was perfectly clean and well kept.

Everything was perfect, the food was delicious, the hosts were very friendly. Homemade dinner and breakfast were amazing. One of the best places to relax. We will be back for sure in the future. Definetly recommed to our friends. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful location, great breakfast, super kind hosts. Recommended.

Very nice location, with beautiful view. The family that runs the place is very kind and caring, you can tell they are passionate about their job. The breakfast was great, done with genuine local products. Some of the kindest people we met during our stay in Montenegro. We recommend this place.

The place is not very close to Virpazar, 15 min by car. However, the area is beautiful and immersed in the nature. The air conditioning was a little bit noisy (we had to use it as there were no mosquito nets).

Stunning place to kick back and unwind in the peace and quiet

This place is like a homestay. It is located on a hillside overlooking a valley up a small road. We used a taxi to get there and when we arrived the place was stunning. Ivo and Jelena are salt of the earth people and we were immediately offered his own organic wine which was of really good quality. We had our meals there in the evenings as we didn't have a car rental (I would recommend having a car so you can see more of the area) and we had bikes for a day to go down to Virpazar to go on the boat around Skadar Lake. The food is all home grown/locally sourced and was plentiful and delicious and very good value for money. The breakfasts are very good too. We felt so relaxed and comfortable there. One evening my husband offered to make a meal and was given free rein of the kitchen with the help of Ivo, Jelena and their 2 girls, We shared meals with 2 couples on our first night -one German couple and one French and it was nice to all interact whilst drinking Ivo's lovely red wine. We bought 4 jars of preserves and the wine to take back to the UK. the house is beautiful and the scenery around stunning. We went on walks nearby where there are mountain waterfalls with refreshing water. We are definitely going to return and make it our base to visit the mountains and lakes around Podgorica. I can highly recommend it and it is so cheap. Thank you Iva Jelena and girls.

Wonderfully generous hosts and really beautiful views

Breakfast was amazing - all home grown foods and freshly made things! Kindly gave us free cold drinks on arrival as well which was very much appreciated and they were such kind welcoming people.

Exceptional

Despite that we arrived late and were thinking about dinner in Virpazar, we just casually asked if it is possible to have something there. Even since the kitchen was already closed, the owner kindly offered us a cold dinner in about 20 minutes. It was enough for both of us after a long trip and we were lucky to also taste local wine. Breakfast was also no brainer, delicious, local and we stop counting how many dishes were in front of us 🙂 Despite only an overnight stay, we will definitely visit again 🙂

Not a negative, just prepare yourself that road there is a bit narrower, so definitely try to arrive before darkness

Our stay was the highlight of our trip. Very special- intimate and personal with a local family.

Great stay

After a very delayed flight and arriving very late we had a very warm welcome from Jelena. Beautiful surroundings and a nice apartment Breakfast, Dinner and the homemade wine by Ivo was also amazing! Overall it was a very good stay and we would happily stay again! Jelena, Ivo and their family were all very welcoming and lovely people.

Hidden pearl near Virpazar with great food. Feels like home

This place is so peaceful and the owner Jelena is such a lovely person. She made us feel like home. The House is located a 15 Minutes drive from Virpazar and has a beautiful surrounding. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace drinking coffee and homemade pomegranate juice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Montenegro. Jelena even served us a delicious meal in the early morning before our tour to Skadar Lake at 6 o’clock. There is also a little shop with homemade food and wine. We already miss this place and will definitely come back !

Fantastic hospitality in the beautiful mountains around Virpazaar!

My friend and I had a lovely stay with a friend for two nights at the apartment mond. They arranged an airport transfer for us and cooked us a lovely spread on arrival. We were shown such fantastic hospitality. We didn't have a car and the hosts were happy to drive us down to Virpazaar town, or to the train station. The night with the karaoke and the homemade wine was very fun (but maybe not the morning after!) The room was exceptionally clean. Thank you for a great time!

I wish they had smaller jars of the amazing Kiwi jam!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful vineyard

Beautiful location, amazing food, delicious wine,and friendly helpful hosts. We had a wonderful stay - thank you for everything.

Everything was perfect. Only small thing (as mentioned by someone else) is the step from the top bedroom is a little bigger than you would expect.

Warm and welcoming family vineyard/b&b at Skadar Lake

We've met new friends. The hospitality of Ivo and Jelena was extraordinary. The breakfast of Montenegrin mezze (among other things local ham, cheese, homegrown tomatoes, salad, homemade jams and fruit and freshly baked pie) was amazing. Each morning we were welcomed with fresh coffee and the kids could choose which kind of homemade juice they wanted. Don't even think of having breakfast elsewhere! Each night when we returned from the nearby town of Virpazar, we were welcomed by Ivo after which he invited us to tasting his homemade red wine, which is strong and very tasteful. We're actually drinking it while writing this review now that we've returned home. It brings us back to the good times we've had and we can't wait to visit again.

Wonderful place

Simply stunning. Located just 10 minutes slow drive from Virpazar and Skadarsko Lake, with a view on Borneo like mountains to one side and grapes plantation to the other. Far from crowd and noise. Run by wonderful people, who nothing is a problem for. Loads of homemade products available on site - the kiwi jam is a life changer. And the breakfast ... made to excellence. We liked the place so much, that we decided to stay one extra night. I would strongly recommend the place to everyone

Most amazing stay in Montenegro

The question is what we didn’t like ;) NOTHING!! We just had an amazing time. Starting of with welcome drinks, great and funny conversations with the hosts, over a great view from our room and comfy bed to a perfect homemade multiple course dinner with amazing tasteful homemade wine. In the morning an excellent breakfast was also served. It just couldn’t be any better! Hopefully, we will meet Jelena and Ivo again soon. Thanks for everything, we will miss our time here.

As mentioned before, nothing was missing.

A wonderful peaceful spot

I loved my brief stay. The location is stunning, the hosts are exceptionally hospitable, the typical local food was delicious and the wine made on site is excellent. As for my room, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would definitely come back again.

Beautiful place,mountains,vineyards,peace and quiet. Owners are very nice people so You can feel like Home. Apartaments are Great as well,well equiped, You have all You need ,it is very clean and neatly designed. Breakfast is just amazing so highly recomend to use this option. Last but not least wine made by owner is also amazing :) Basically I wish to comeback soon :)
