Limpieza
Ruido en el AC

I have stayed at Hotel El Espanol many times in the past. This trip I was traveling with my friend and she agreed with me: This is a well-managed hotel, the staff is excellent, and this is one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in — it’s a very comfortable place to stay. Great neighborhood with easy access to the ADO bus station to make day trips all over the surrounding area and there is a nearby plaza as well as many food options, laundries, and stores. Ez walk to the cathedral and Mercado San Benito. We loved the pool and sun deck area. The pool area attendant cleaned every morning and afternoon — great place to get sun, also!
I love Hotel El Espanol. I have stayed here at least 10 times over the past 5-6 years.

Me gustaria pedir mi reembolso.Fue un verdadero FRAUDE. Ni se les ocurra Hospedarse Aqui.El Peor Hotel Donde me he Hospedado. Espero que Booking haga Algo al Resoecto. Muchas Gracias.

Baño no estaba totalmente limpio

The location was good I guess
The staff (most) was terribly rude and unhelpful, particularly one person at the service desk who went by Carmen

not much
AC didn't work, unfriendly staff, would not get me a plate and knife. Food-humdrum. room had a window to a hall. Beside a noisy street. Kitty corner to a VERY busy bus station. No English TV stations.

This hotel is right across the street from the historico ADO bus station. Plenty of restaurants and street food close by. Most of the tourist spots are several minutes walk from this location.
Door to room did not have a secure lock from the interior.

Room was in a good location, right across the road from the ADO bus station which is the only reason we stayed there as we had an early morning bus ride.
A/C was terrible! It was so loud and without it on we were too hot so either way we didn't get much sleep. The noise from the road is loud too. Wifi is slow.

Clean, well-maintained property (at check-in, I noticed my bedside light was not working and asked about it: fixed immediately). Quiet at night and excellent staff. We received excellent recommendations regarding Cenotes to visit in the area and tips on traveling to and from Parqu Kukulcan to see the Leones play baseball. Great location with good and affordable food available at the hotel and nearby. 1 minute walk to ADO terminal.
I liked everything. This is the 4th time I have stayed there.

Clean rooms
-Our room towards the street was very loud. I slept very bad because of the traffic.
-Locked windows caused absolutely no fresh air in the room. The smelled bad.
-no control for the AC, only on/off

Very handy to the Ado bus station and easy walk to centre of old town
Very noisy in room at night traffic outside and communal areas not designed to absorb the sound of people in the lobby and using the staircase. Great for an overnight or couple of nights but bring earplugs. Also be aware the pool area doesn't get much sun.
