I liked that breakfast and dinner was included, it was really social! Also Laura is very nice and helpful!
There was just one employee at the reception who wasn’t helpful at all. Very unwelcoming, more focused on piles of papers than accommodating guests and being kind.

ótimo hostel para viajantes solo, o jantar era muito bom e era o momento em que todos se reuniam, então sempre dava para encontrar amigos para sair a noite ou no dia seguinte.
Equipe extremamente prestativa e ajudam com todas as informações para ir ao templos e outros locais da região.
Fiquei no quarto com ar condicionado, era limpo e tinha bastante espaço.
As camas por serem beliches antigas balançavam bastante.

無料で出てくる朝ごはんと夕飯が美味しすぎた。インドネシアで食べた料理で一番美味しかった気がする。
シャワールームとトイレが完全に分かれてるところもあってよかった。ドライヤーもあった。
言えばタオルは無料で借りられた。
ベッドのシーツは言わないと変えてくれない。

The staff were very kind and friendly, they made fresh vegetarian food every night which was really good! And breakfast too all included which was amazing! The room was comfortable and the aircon was good!
The area was slightly loud as close to car sounds at night but not the fault of the staff!

Cheap hostel, near the train station, with good confortable beds.
The room and the toilets are clean.
The owner Laura is really nice, she knows a lot about what to do in the city and for your next destinations. She also did a book you can find in the communal area, with all the informations.
A plus are the included breakfats and dinner, if you are not too complicated to eat what you get.
There are good vibes with a lot of people there in the evening to spend time.
Free qater and tea and coffee.
For some nights is a good place to stay
The staff beside Laura is not so comunicative, they do their job but nothing more than that.
If you have questions about what to do or other informations ask laura or other travelers.
The breakfast is ok but always sugary and fries things- but as I said before if you are not complicated is ok.
The free water is also a bit warm, the water dispenser do no cool it down.

In struttura oltre alla colazione vi offriranno anche una cenetta. Gli alloggi sono basici o per meglio dire essenziali.

Gratis ontbijt & diner. Gezellige sfeer bij het diner.
De tweede avond viel het plafond naar beneden door heftige regenval. We konden verhuizen naar een andere kamer die toevallig leeg stond in verband met verbouwing. De dag erna kregen we ineens bericht dat we moesten verhuizen naar wederom een andere kamer. Dit werd via whatsapp gedaan in plaats van het ons te vertellen. De kamer was enorm gehorig door verbouwing wat vroeg in de ochtend begon. Het is begrijpelijk dat er verbouwd moet worden, maar er werd geen enkele manier van compensatie aangeboden wat ik wel had verwacht aangezien we verlengd hadden tot 5 nachten verblijf.
De kamers werden nauwelijks/ niet schoongemaakt. Ook de douches waren erg vies!

My stay here was just amazing! Location is great, the beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Highlights are the free breakfast AND dinner which was freshly cooked and just delicious!! Also a great way to socialise with other guests

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, et Laura, qui assiste chaque soir pendant le dîner, est remarquable. Elle prodigue des conseils personnalisés à chaque client et tient un cahier regorgeant de bons plans. Grâce à ses recommandations, j'ai pu organiser une visite fantastique des temples de Borobudur et Prambanan, ainsi qu'une journée de détente au spa. Elle m'a pratiquement aidé à planifier l'intégralité de mon séjour sur l'île. Les repas inclus sont simples mais parfaits pour rencontrer d'autres voyageurs. L'espace commun dispose de tables idéales pour travailler ou faire des rencontres, avec des prises disponibles et une connexion internet fiable. Je n’ai pas eu le temps de faire la visite du volcan Merapi à 45 minutes de l’hostal, mais ça l’air d’être incroyable.
Ma première nuit en dortoir s'est bien passée sans aucun problème de bruit. Cependant, la deuxième nuit, j’ai pris une chambre privée pour plus de confort et l’expérience a été décevante. La chambre semblait être une ancienne entrée transformée, avec pour seule séparation entre la chambre et la rue une grande porte offrant une isolation inexistante. Le bruit constant des scooters rendait le sommeil difficile. Bien que mon séjour dans l'ensemble ait été agréable, la propreté de la salle de bain laisse à désirer, tout comme les lavabos qui se trouvent à l'extérieur. Ils nécessiteraient un nettoyage en profondeur avec des produits désinfectants, tout comme les murs des chambres et les interrupteurs. De plus, mon échange avec le service de réception n'a pas été satisfaisant. Lorsque je suis allée les voir pour demander des informations concernant une excursion, la fille à la réception n'était pas assez claire dans ses explications. Après plusieurs questions, elle a ri de moi avec sa collègue. Il est primordial que l'équipe de réception soit plus professionnelle et accueillante envers les clients.

Laura the owner and everyone working there is really nice. Everyone is so kind and will help you with everything. I could also rent a last minute scooter at the front desk which was convenient. Also I met some great fellow backpackers here so that was good!!
It was not clean. The bathroom had a weird smell and there were hairs everywhere. The room was basic but clean-ish. Also I got the private room next to the common area and that was very noisy.

Geweldige gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar iedere dag ontbijt en dinner gemaakt werd voor alle gasten. Hierdoor ontmoete je veel mensen. Laura kwam iedere avond langs om iedereen te helpen met de plannen voor de dag daarop. Onwijs bedankt hiervoor
De kamer was ontdanks de ventilator erg heet. Er was ook geen raam naar buiten waardoor de kamer niet afkoelde. Op de gang was het al stukken koeler.

Very good place for backpackers, Laura, the owner, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, booked a tour to Prambanan and Borobudur there, best thing is free dinner in the hostel every night, super tasty and healthy, great opportunity to get in touch with other guests. Highly recommended!

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, went out of their way to help me with train tickets and last minute laundry needs. Fellow travellers I met over dinner and my room mates were very friendly and welcoming as well. Overall a great place to meet new people and a good base to start exploring the city.
Toilets felt that they could be a tad bit cleaner, but understandable given the number of people in the hostel.

Laura and her staff were so nice and friendly. She gave great recommendations and was always there to help. The free breakfast (and dinner!!) was delicious. The location is excellent. Great value for money and perfect for backpackers and solo travellers.
The facilities are simple but all work perfectly.

Laura, the owner of the hostel knows literally everything about Yogyakarta and the places to be! She is very helpful. Also, the dinner and breakfast is included in the price and the dinner is vegan as well! Worth it!
I had to switch rooms every night and a lot of other travellers did too, so organisation wise it was not perfect.

What an amazing hostel! Great staff, location and people who come there! Above all there is super delicious free dinner and breakfast! Laura, the owner, is truly 🔝! She will help you with everything you need, there is even a booklet with all the recommendations (not just for the city itself, but many ither places!) I have enjoyed my stay and I will definitely come back there if I come again to Yogja! Thank you for everything! 🥰

Very basic, beds are old and showers are partly broken and not to many for the amount of people staying there.

The hostel has a free breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere is good and it s easy to meet other travellers here. The owner Laura is very nice and she can give you a lot of suggestions on traveling in Indonesia.

Free breakfast, dinner and tea & coffee was nice, allowed you to meet others easily. Laura sat with everyone and gave them tips on what to do in Jogyakarta. Location 10 min walk to main city. Bathrooms clean and provide shower gel/shampoo.
Stayed in a private room, which was next to a road and was very loud. Also no curtains on the windows so lots of light in the room in the mornings. There was one plug socket in the room which wasn’t working, we told the staff this on the first day and they said they’d have someone come and fix it. After our 3 night stay it still wasn’t fixed and we had booked a private room as we needed a private space for an important video call happening during our time there, which we needed power in the room for. We saw a mouse in the room one morning and a dead cockroach the other. No sinks in the bathrooms so you have to brush your teeth in the communal eating areas.

The staff is very nice, breakfast very good and you have diner also. It is well located, next to the train station and the famous main road. I really enjoyed it.
The scooter rental is a bit expensive.

The free dinner was good because it really helped create a social atmosphere.
The place is dirty. There were stains on the sheets. No toilet roll or hand soap. The toilets stink.
There was no air con in some rooms even though the description says there is. In some rooms the air con can't be controlled.
No curtain, no shelf, no light, no privacy, nowhere to put your things in the bathroom, very inconvenient when getting ready.

- Great place to stay if you’re feeling a little lost and overwhelmed

- rooms could do with some maintenance but you can’t complain for the price

The whole dorm smelt, my bed sheets and pillow were dirty, the showers were also dirty.

Great location of the place, near to the centre and still a little bit far from the crazy hassle. The room is nice, with it's own toilet and bathroom. It's possible to use second one if this one is busy. AC working. The only thing - there is no lockers and the room is not lockable from the inside. The dinner and breakfast is free, tasty and you have an opportunity to talk with other travelers and local Laura who can help you out with your plans - everyone is very sociable

Laura is incredibly warm, friendly and helpful in providing advice about what to do and where to go in Yogyakarta, Java and Indonesia as a whole. The free breakfast and dinner were also delicious and brought all travellers together for a great social feel.
Mattresses on beds were cheap (so not very comfortable) and the bathrooms could do with an upgrade (and some more hooks on the walls to keep things dry). Most importantly, DO NOT book the tour to Bromo and Ijen through Laura’s Backpackers - 4 of us went together and three of the four of us had things stolen from our bags that were locked in a room at the homestay included as part of the tour. plus the vehicle used to transport us was not roadworthy. Spend a little more to do a nicer tour.
