Perfect little home away from home

I had a medical appointment in Bristol and the day before I was due to travel down from Wigan I decided to book somewhere to stay over rather than drive on the day. Ferndale Mews was nearby and had everything I was looking for. The room was perfect - warm, cosy, well equipped and lovely and clean. I'm a light sleeper so finding a room in a courtyard with soundproofing was ideal. The hosts were so kind as to allow me a late checkout at late notice too - otherwise I would have been walking the streets of Bristol for 3 hours. I will be traveling down regularly for medical appointments and will definitely be staying here when I do.

Lovely boutique property in an up-and-coming neighborhood. Attention to detail A+!

We were pleasantly surprised by our room at Ferndale Mews. So chic! Very grateful for Steven who allowed us grace period to check out. We overslept on our first full day in the UK! Appreciated the continental breakfast. Communication with our hosts was top notch.

Room was a bit small for us and our luggage.

Lovely stay for one night.

Very clean and enjoyed the addition of fresh flowers.

Only window was in the door. Bathroom was a wet room so everything including the toilet roll got wet. Could hear the neighbours next door.

Very good facilities in the room;very clean and easy to come and go from the accommodation. It was very private and in a good location if you're visiting central Bristol. Would stay again.

A little cramped in the bathroom, but for one night it was fine.

Great communication with staff, very helpful with any questions I had. Very friendly too 😊 The greeny around the room was a welcomed change from usual hotels. Very pretty and relaxing setting. The room was really clean and although small it was ideal size and equipped with everything we needed.

Good value, clean and tidy, only a mile out of Clifton - I'll be staying again for work.

A great find - very easy. I had a late check in so liaised directly with the owner who sent me the door code. Room was tidy and clean - everything I needed was there, including a fan and an ironing board which I didn't need to ask for.

My only comment is that I would have expected fruit with the breakfast - but the pastries were delicious! I annoyingly forgot my toothpaste so expected a miniature one, which there wasn't, but this was my fault not the accommodations.

Parking available on the road at no charge. The premises were very nice.

Location was pleasant and convenient. The continental breakfast was good quality. the bed was comfortable.

Stay in Westbury

Handy location for visiting friends. Felt very safe with high gates and security locks. Kept nice and clean

Expected a sink for washing up, rather than having to wash dishes in wash basin. Also, a tea-towel rather than a pillowcase for wiping up would have been nice.

Gorgeous hidden gem

Ferndale mews was cosy, clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Facilities were brilliant with lots of thoughtful additions like chilled water, decaf tea etc.

Excellent place to stay for visiting family close by.

The room was very clean, quiet and the check in process (which was via text message) was easy to follow. It was great for a one night stay. We thought the room was very good value. We ordered the breakfast too, which was a good selection of pastries, yoghurt and cereal. The breakfast we again thought was really good value for money.

Everything required in the room was kept beforehand. Amazing facilities. Loved the wifi. Cozy room with amazing shower. The pantry and fridge was filled beforehand with all the required items. A fab stay indeed.

The room would be okay if you were on your own.

Outside space very pleasant. Good location. Milk,water and biscuits a nice touch.

The room was very cramped, I don’t remember room description saying bed against a wall. No bedside table. Shower not a good idea next to loo. Really a room for single occupancy not a couple.

Ferndale Mews was just right for us, Katherine's welcome was very warm and helpful.

The location was very useful as we walked to meet with family nearby. The bus stop to the railway station was just up the road. There was helpful information in the room for guidance to local facilities, taxis etc.. The room was very well equipped and so peaceful. The breakfast was just right.
