We have cable channels and NFL Sunday ticket. So many others are cutting corners on this and who knows what else! We use You Tube TV for cable channels that include the local channels.
We provide almost everything you need for your stay; linens, towels, dishes, drip and a Keurig coffee maker plus starter supply of coffee.

KITCHEN: Fully stocked kitchen. Stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator with water/ice in door, stove/oven, & microwave). Drip and Keurig coffee makers provided with starter supply of coffee, sugar, artificial sweetener, as well as coffee filters if you wish to bring your favorite coffee with you. Kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, casserole dishes, dishes, cups and eating utensils. Custom built farmhouse style dining table is located off the kitchen.
FAMILY ROOM: Family Room has two comfortable couches with built in recliners. Two ceiling fans. Roku Television with Direct TV & Blue Ray DVD player along with movies in TV console. Wood burning fireplace. Futon for additional seating with charging station located on end table next to futon.
BEDROOMS: Two bedrooms on main floor, each room has 2 double beds. Master bedroom on second floor has 2 queen beds. Each bedroom has a charging station on the nightstand and a ceiling fan. All bed linens provided. Futon in Family Room will open to a full-size bed. Air mattresses are available for additional sleeping if needed, please request in advance of your visit.
BATHROOMS: One full bathroom on main level of home has a custom tile walk in shower (remodeled in 2023). Second level of home has a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo (remodeled in 2022). Bath towels and wash clothes provided.
LOFT: Loft area on second level contains a pool table, pub table, ceiling fan, games & books for your use. Washer and dryer are in loft area along with iron & ironing board.
BACK PORCH & GRILL AREA: Screened in back porch with rocking chairs overlooks lake and dock. Adult life jackets are located in a deck box on the back porch. Please bring your own life jackets for children, to ensure a proper fit. Recycling bin provided, please rinse any items before placing in bin. Charcoal grill with gazebo cover is in the back yard.
TRASH: Trash bins are provided in a shed on the right side of the house, close to the front door. All trash must be bagged before placing in the trash bins. Please make sure the shed lid and doors are closed to keep out animals. Any trash that will not fit in the two provided trash bins must be placed on the back porch or taken to the local waste disposal center located at 298 Perry Woolbright Road, Townville, SC 29689.
DOCK: Two kayaks, a paddle boat and a canoe are located on the dock for your use. A porch swing and stackable Adirondack chairs for seating. The dock ladder is angled when in the water to provide an easy step-like access in and out of the water. There is room to tie up a boat alongside the dock. Ten-foot water depth is normal at full lake levels. Dock has lights and electric outlets for radios, charging trolling motors etc. Dock power is protected by a GFCI circuit. It is highly recommended that life jackets are worn when in the water or using any watercraft.
PARKING: There is ample parking at the front of the house.

This property was fantastic.
From the ease of check in to swimming or fishing from the dock. A week at this property was much needed to relax and just spend quality time with the kids.
Plenty of games and movies or beat the kids in a game of pool to have fun with if it rains while your there.
Highly recommend this property if your looking for a place to stay on the lake.

We booked this house over a year ago for our twin daughterās Clemson graduation & Army Commissioning celebration. Place & host did not disappoint; it was wonderful. All the previous reviews were super positive and we would give it over 5 stars if possible too. Description is spot on ; it truly has everything one would need. We are nature lovers and appreciated the peacefulness, beauty and lake activities. We had college kids through seniors staying and everyone enjoyed!!! It is obvious these hosts truly know how to create āa home away from homeā for all!!!

We had a blast at this property! Communication was excellent, the house was comfy and well appointed, the amenities made the most of the lake, and all the little iās were dotted, to boot. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Our family spent a long weekend at this lovely home while visiting our Clemson student. The photos do not do it justice. It was the perfect property for a family - very clean, lots of beds and everything we needed was provided. The homeowners were not only thoughtful, but also friendly and easy to contact. It was refreshing to deal with owners rather than a management group. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay for NYE weekend here. It was wonderful to see the house decorated in the holiday theme. The host even left a holiday surprise for us in the fridge.
The house is cozy, equipped with a pool table, and has lots of board games to keep the group occupied. They have a wonderful boat ramp and kayaks are available to explore the lake. Unfortunately because of cold weather, we could not take advantage of it. The kitchen is well stocked and has most of the things needed to feed a large group.
The only -ve I would say is that the listing mentions hot tub as one of the amenities, which is not present in the property.
Overall I highly recommend this place, do not think twice.

This is our fourth year staying at the Underwoodās. It has become a family tradition to go, and we plan to continue as long as they offer! They are gracious host and available anytime. Our family of six enjoyed a fantastic vacation in this ideal lake house, which was clean, comfortable and cozy! The location was great and we couldnāt believe how quiet it was. Close enough to the University to make attending graduation easy but secluded enough to make us feel like we were āaway.ā The house is COMPLETLY equipped with quality furnishings, bedding and recently updated bathrooms. The reclining couches are comfy and there are plenty of chairs to relax in on the back screened porch. We loved paddling on the lake, playing pool and being able to bring our dog. John and Terri are perfect hosts who made us feel like special guests. This was our 3rd? (4th?) stay at this property- there are so many reasons we keep coming back!

We had a wonderful time relaxing, which was the goal. John was quick in communicating & very accommodating. Check in & out was easy & they welcomed us with a sweet treat of Easter cupcakes...so thoughtful.
The house was as described & the dock was perfect for fishing & just relaxing. Kitchen had most of everything you need. Pool table was a lot of fun & other games are provided. Great back porch as well. We enjoyed our visit & would recommend.

This place was exactly what my family was looking for-comfortable accommodations, peaceful setting, and so many things to do. The kitchen is not only beautiful, but is FULLY stocked-almost anything you could need is available! The host provided a nice welcome gift and had thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay even greater! We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe for a lovely afternoon on the water, had family game time playing pool and a few of the games, hiked to some nearby falls, and went horseback riding. Again, this was exactly what our family needed for our getaway!

This is it! This is the Lake House I always dreamed of going to since childhood. At 48 years old, that dream came true. This house is everything I imagined a lake house to be.
The house is immaculate and cozy! Sitting on the back porch , rocking in the rocking chairs and staring at the lake beats staring at a tv or phone anyday!
We had a great time sitting on the dock watching the fish jump. We had a blast using the peddle boat and sitting on the beach at night with a campfire was awesome!
Being pet-friendly is a must and it was a perfect stay for our pomeranian. He felt right at home.
If you are considering this or a trip to a theme park for your kids, RENT THIS HOUSE! You will not regret it. Your kids and your inner child (if you are like us and don't have kids) , will have a blast. A perfect outdoor adventure. Please

We needed a place to stay while visiting our Tiger at Clemson. What an awesome property! The small touches were fantastic! From the beach towels, to the kayaks and paddle boat, to the doggie bowls and the welcome cupcakes and personal note. John & Terri thought of absolutely everything! We canāt wait to go back!

I almost don't want to give this too good of a review because I don't want other people scooping it up on upcoming weekends I might need it, LOL! John was communicative and responsive from the very first email I sent him, incredibly kind and you can see he takes great pride in his property. We were greeted with some treats on the kitchen counter with a very nice note, what a terrific touch. The house is adorable and sits on the lake with dock access. Very clean, beds are comfy and the back porch is so nice to have your morning coffee and rock in the chairs while looking at the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay (parents weekend at Clemson) and we all (friends we stayed with) commented many times how lucky we were to find such a fantastic place just miles from campus. We truly couldn't have asked for our stay to go more smoothly and to ask for more from a property. Highly recommend!

John and Terri where excellent host! They answered all our questions promptly! When we had a need, they where quick to handle and resolve the issue. We found the home to be very clean, as well as the property. I found the homes layout design to flow very well. The attention to details to the renter's needs were exceptional! For example, rafts/floats blown up already prior to arrival, life jackets all hung neatly, power banks/charging ports in every room, helping to take care of our pet's needs along with many other conveniences to the home. A special thanks to Terri for the "aww" moment we had as we entered the house and found our sweet treat. I would definitely recommend this vacation destination! It is truly a five star home!

We had a great week on Lake Hartwell in this home. The home was perfect for our family. Loved the layout of the home and all the amenities. The best part was the location on the lake!! It was so peaceful! We took our boat but also enjoyed the kayaks that were with the home. We were close to Seneca and Clemson for shopping and dinner when needed. The boat landing was easy access also. It is a great lake home!!!

Our vacation at John and Terriās beautiful lake house was amazing! The house was even better than it looks in the pictures. The house had all the amenities needed and the pool table was an added bonus along with the life jackets and water toys. We loved sitting in the swing on the dock watching the sunsets. I also loved the parking situation with plenty of room to back the boat and trailer. Everything about this vacation home was perfect. The house was even better than pictured and the lake was amazing. My kids loved swimming in the lake and taking the paddle boat out. We tried fishing off the dock but no luck. Still felt great getting the poles out again. The rocking chairs on the porch were so nice to rock away the stress. Had everything thing we needed which you don't always get in other rentals (toilet paper, soap, throw blankets, etc.). When we had an issue with the hot water heater due to the storm that made the electricity go out briefly I contacted the owners and they came right out to get it fixed. Would definitely stay here again. You can tell they care for this home.
