All as described only issue was the westerly wind
Will definitely talk this property up

The location and outlook from this house was amazing, stunning sunsets most nights! Everything was neat and tidy but the rooms & living spaces (indoor) were smaller than expected for two families to share the house. The deck area was however very spacious with big table & bbq which was lovely. The kitchens are also an older style kitchen with no dishwasher. The driveway is not sealed and very steep so I would recommend only 4WD type cars use it. The owners were extremely accomodating & the set up with all kayaks down at the lake was fantastic. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

- Great fishing spots nearby
- pictures on Stayz.com.au are not accurate and recent.
- house is not suitable for families with dust and mold allergies.
- Spider webs inside the house
- all fans , furniture and balcony timber deck needs nice deep cleaning

Lovely house on the lake
We went there with a couple of families. The property was beautiful and perfectly located next to the lake. The lake access was easy. The amenities provided were excellent. Lots of kayaks to play around with. Well stocked pantry. We had lovely days by the lake. Cooked up delicious meals in the kitchen and bbq. No wi fi though and phone reception is poor on most networks. The rooms needed a bit of airing out, might have been shut for a while. Great stay overall and great communication with the host. Thank you Jackie

Perfect house to share with a few friends to escape the city. Woke to the sounds of wildlife, had a gorgeous paddle, and watched the stunning sunsets from the porch. Thank you!

Great location
Clean, well appointed and room for all (family of 5). Great location.
We had a nice stay. Would have been nice to know there's no internal staircase to the downstairs bedrooms, however. This was an issue due to the inclement weather we had. Owner communication was excellent.

On the Edge. Great stay
We loved the house, the kayaks and the rowing tinnie. Great location, magnificent views. Excellent place two 2-3 families with two self contained levels. Will definitely visit again

Great location
Nice neat house, plenty of room, great location right on the water. Only issue is it traps the heat, no air con but plenty of fans.

On the edge was a perfect family holiday
Extremely poor service from HomeAway I will never rent a a house through them again, incompetent systems and withheld my funds and claimed technical issues for not releasing my security deposit. If you you want to book this house please use Airbnb site

Super relaxing!
What a wonderful place to get away from it all! We had 2 families staying here with more than enough room for everyone to spread out and find space. The hammock was highly prized by both adults and children, particularly being in the shade during the heat of the day. Kayaks were used constantly and I hope the neighbours didn't mind too much the sounds of children enjoying themselves in the water!
The wildlife were so friendly and my husband even had the birds eating out of his hand!
Thank you so much. Already thinking about a return visit!!

we just relaxed
There was a group of 9 ladies. We spend a weekend away once a year.We specifically go away to catch up and relax. This place was perfect. Didn't get in the car from time we arrived till the time we left. Walks along the lake or down to Frothy Coffee was our speed.Communication from Jackie was faultless.

Wonderful property. So peaceful and relaxing
The property has pretty much everything you could ever need for a fabulous holiday. The owner of this property couldn’t be more accommodating. Gorgeous views and wildlife (normally nightly visits by the local possum we named Arnold) and birds galore. Overall we had a fabulous time

great large house
a beautiful area, short drive to nice beaches and bushwalks. The house is great, set in bush and short walk to lake (not a beach there but can still swim). Lots of mozzies. Kitchen and equipment all modern with 2 fireplaces.

Great Spot
We had the most fantastic time at On the edge - Smiths Lake. With two families 10 people in total, the accomodation was perfect with plenty of opportunities for families to mix and break from each other. The location was amazing and having the kayaks and life jackets available for use was so much fun. Would highly recommend On the edge as a great place to stay. Thanks so much!

Ah may zing!
Simply perfect. For a spontaneous weekend away - this was perfect! Kayaks and a tinny on the waters edge for paddling to breakfast at the cafe around the corner. Games and DVD's Galore for those fun competitive evenings with friends. Well heated for the colder months. This place has been well thought out and it shows. Simply perfect.

Fantastic Place!
Great place for a family holiday, house was better than pictures and description, loads of room and inclusions. Kayaks and board games were a big bonus and we put them to good use. Easy trip into Forster and to loads of great local beaches. None of us wanted to leave!

Nice Property but wouldn't return
Lovely spot, great location and views. Plenty of room. However kitchen is dated. You have to clean and vacuum before you leave the property and there is a $1000 bond. Enjoyed our stay but won't return - have stayed at better.

Fantastic property. We had a lovely week-long stay at 'on the edge'. The property fitted 8 adults and 2 children with ease. The views over the lake are gorgeous, and lake access easy. We were amazed at the wildlife - possums, bandicoots, brush turkeys, lorikeets, flying foxes all can be seen from the large verandah. We will be back!
