It is approximately two-minutes walk down steps to the coastal path at Wheelers Bay.
The accommodation can sleep up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms.
The lounge/diner is spacious with a door leading to the rear south facing terrace.
The kitchen is contemporary and fully equipped with integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer, gas hob and electric oven and a microwave.
There is a ground floor contemporary bathroom with a dual head shower over the bath and a separate upstairs toilet serves both bedrooms.

We would love all guests to enjoy their holiday at the same time consider the cottage very old and in a quiet area. We would kindly request all guests be mindful of noise and how it passes through walls of old cottages and kindly adhere to the pre-arrival information and signage at the cottage, Many thanks.
FREE parking in the Wheeler's Bay car park (conditions apply & subject to availability) is just a couple of minutes walk direct from St.Catherine Street and to access the car park with a car, the access is via Wheeler's Bay Road at the beginning of St.Catherine Street. Street parking on St. Catherine Street is unrestricted.
The Victorian seaside town of Ventnor is one of the sunniest spots on the Island. There's lovely sand/shingle beach and an esplanade which is all within a short stroll from the cottage. In addition to the main shopping street where you will find a selection of small supermarkets including a Central (nearest), Co-op and Tesco Express, there are parks and gardens, museums and the Winter Gardens - an entertainment venue with a growing reputation for its theatre, its concerts and comedy and dance shows. The renowned Ventnor Haven Fishery at the marina sells the daily catch of fresh fish, seafood and amazing fish and chips. Boat trips are also available from here.

The cottage is end of terrace which was a surprise as picture indicated one in the middle in better condition so a bit misleading.
Outside and inside in need of some TLC. Mouldy shower curtain in bathroom urgently needs replacing and tile grouting given a good clean. Kitchen lacking glasses and a few other items.
Bed sheets had some stains which is a bit off putting.
Lovely location and nice view from garden but patio area could do with a spruce up.
Very limited parking outside but always managed to get a space in the carpark down the hill.
We enjoyed our stay overall and will definitely return to Ventnor.

The cottage was in a very a good area, not far from the town or the sea front. It was a good base to do some coastal walking. We walked to the Botanical Gardens along the coastal path and back down to Steep Hill Cove, which was stunning.
The kitchen had everything you would need, which was one of the best equipped kitchens we have had. There a lovely size dining table which was nice to sit round on an evening when eating in.
We felt very comfortable with everything apart from the cleanliness. Would definitely come back if this was addressed. I clean a cottage myself and have a small guest house so am aware of how important this is. However I can imagine there is a lot to clean so maybe depends on whether the cleaners are given enough time.

This could be fantastic holiday accommodation if some love was put into it. It’s basic and doesn’t have any homely touches, not a single picture on the wall, 1 lamp in the whole house, everywhere just has spot lights making it feel cold. The kitchen has seen better days but is equipped with what you need.
We did enjoy our time on the island and the house is well located in Ventnor but it doesn’t make you want to spend much time in it.
The garden is the same as the house, bare and cold, such a shame as it has a great view, you could spend a lot of time enjoying it if it just had a few plants, nice chairs etc.
Overall we wouldn’t stay in it again unless it had an update and made to feel nicer.

Pebble Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Good washer and oven. Lovely sea view from the main bedroom and a nice big wardrobe. All the beds were really comfy. Good shower and hot water, could do with a blind up at the bathroom window. The patio with table and chairs is perfect for eating out with a sea view. We had a fantastic holiday here and travelled all around the Island. The kids didn't want to leave. Would be better if there was a parking space Infront of the house instead of walking up the steps from the car park.

Clean, comfortable & well-equipped cottage in a good location
We had a very pleasant stay here.
Some comments - not as homely- feeling as some places as no pictures/personal touches, & a few games & books would have been appreciated, also more than 1 tea-towel.
nb. these are not complaints, & we would certainly go there again.

Amazing location. Stunning view of the Ocean morning and evening.
Totally recommend this quaint little getaway. Nice friendly neighbours, great local ( The Volunteer) easy walk to Tesco. No Parasol though, if I had of known would of taken my own as there is no shade. Could of done with a BBQ but apparently locked away in the shed.Good internet connection , nice 32 inch TV with good bass response. 9/10

Great property in central location and sooooo clean
My husband and children stayed at this property in Ventnor with beautiful sea views. The property was immaculate and well equipped within easy walking distance of beach and facilities. My only comment would by that the garden has a small fence between the neighbouring property and we did not make as much use of the terrace area as we had intended and kept the children in to avoid disturbing them too much. If you are booking with young children you may want to be mindful of this. Otherwise great property and lovely memories made.

Pebble cottage - mixed review
A good location for Ventnor with easy access to the town and the beachfront down hill. The photo on the website of the seaview is correct but there is a large 3 storey house immediately in front of the terrace leaving little privacy available. The terrace needed weeding as a matter of urgency! There is not a seaview from the ground floor of the cottage.
There was dirty crockery in one of the cupboards and there is not any wardrobe or chest of drawers in the second bedroom - just a single bed and bunk beds.
The bathroom is nice but accessed through the very narrow but well equipped kitchen.
Most days we had to use the public car park a 5 minute walk away as there is limited parking on the road - not a problem unless you have mobility issues!

Location perfect. However should be removed from the booking availability list
Perfect location however the photo shown was not the correct cottage. I have never in 30 years stayed in an overgrown unloved rented property. Does the owner have no pride. The weeds in the courtyard as so overgrown. Does anyone ever check your property on your books. Its a disgrace and spoilt our holiday. Please respond as how can you charge this anount of money. I await your reply

Lovely cottage
Thus cottage is in a good location with sea views from a large patio at back of property.
Parking out side not easy but there is a free carpark a very short walk along the road.
Just below this car park is a slope down to sea front where you can walk into Ventnor.
The cottage kitchen is very well supplied with equipment, good size fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Down stairs bath and toilet and up stairs another small toilet. Double bedroom has plenty of storage space with sea view and in front bedroom there are 3 beds. Good for the larger family.

Pebble Cottage
Clean, well-equipped cottage ideal for a family with children. A few minutes' walk from the centre of Ventnor and the beach. We enjoyed swimming in the sea, local walks, meals out and the botanic garden.

The house is well equipped and clean, the Parking can be awkward, we used public parking at the sea.
Great property in a very convenient location for a family holiday; we enjoyed every moment there!

A good week!
Enjoyed our week in the cottage. Comfortable beds, good appliances e.g
dishwasher and cooker. Lighting in lounge too bright bought some table lamps to use while there!

Pebble Cottage - not for us
The agents were very helpful with arranging ferries, especially when we had to make a late change.
The accommodation was clean and bright. Convenient for walking into Ventnor and lovely coastal walks. Kitchen was well equipped but surprised that there wasn't even some milk left for us.
There was no provision for storing clothes in the second bedroom. It was very strange to have to enter the bathroom via the kitchen.
Extremely disappointed by the complete lack of privacy of the outside area - it was like sitting with the neighbours. As a consequence we hardly ever used it. Also it was not clear from the information provided that there was only a paved seating area and no other garden.
Parking was a nightmare. It was impossible to park on the road outside as there were never any spaces. Wheelers bay carpark was near and free - but stay was limited to 24 hours.
There were no instructions about refuse/recycling and how to use the 4 bins/containers provided.
We loved Ventnor and its coast but would not use this property again.
