Character and location were amazing! ❤️
4.7
Beautiful place to stay in a great location for walks at the 7 sisters, lovely little communal bar area, fantastic breakfast, the staff were super friendly and very welcoming to our dog.
Was a bit a tricky to work out where to check in when we arrived, but that might have been us! ( It was in the cafe)
4.7
The location is great. The Farmhouse bedroom and the lounge area are very comfortable. The service was great. Food was also excellent.
We had some scaffolding in front of our window blocking our view.
4.7
Beautiful location in Seven Sisters Country Park, with easy access to Cuckmere Haven and the surrounding area. very characterful farmhouse and cafe with really helpful and friendly staff. Had to leave early so missed breakfast but the staff laid on continental breakfast which was lovely.
4.7
Guest lounge with an honesty bar and beautiful garden. Excellent breakfast.
No Tv or radio in any communal area or bedroom.
4.7
This was the best place I stayed in the UK. Beautiful house and absolutely gorgeous room! Comfortable bed and great breakfast. The room has a wonderful view of the garden
4.7
Very helpful and pleasant staff, plentiful and splendid breakfast, secure parking. Lovely location, convenient for walking to Seven Sisters park. Interesting walled gardens and a sense of history.
Bathroom in one of our rooms completely functional but small and serhaps bath could be replaced by modern shower and some bathroom fittings could be improved. Bayhroom in other room was excellent.
4.7
A beautiful and friendly place, with exemplary service. Very comfortable and homely. The owner is delightful and everyone is very helpful. Great location for exploring the South Downs and Seven Sisters.
Nothing. I can’t rate it highly enough.
4.7
Perfect location in a beautiful farm house. Wonderful place to explore the local area and we could even see the sea from our room. Highly recommended.
4.7
Amazing location. Staff lovely. Beautiful house and garden. Honesty bar a nice touch!
Only one small thing, a shelf in the bathroom would be helpful as there’s nowhere to put your toiletries.
4.7
Lovely location. Very clean and comfortable. All the staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you.
Nothing.
4.7
Great position, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and well looked after. Superb breakfast and they had choice of dairy, almond or oat milk
4.7
Very friendly welcoming staff.
4.7
lovely staff made us feel very welcome especially Emma. Comfortable beds with lovely bed linen!
beautiful relaxing garden
excellent breakfast
a shower would be useful, but not essential
4.7
cozy, with a priceless landscape
4.7
Location super; staff - esp Emma the owner - brilliantly engaged in her guests and team. Wonderful breakfast! Love the honesty bar. Just quality. And beautifully comfortable beds!
4.7
a beautiful property right in the heart of the walking action - where the trail to the Seven Sisters begins
4.7
Emma and her team were lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We stayed with our dog and they provided bowls and gave us tips about the best walks to do from the property - the surrounding area was absolutely stunning.
We got a bus into Eastbourne which was very easy as there are stops right outside.
The food was fantastic, and even though I was unwell on the final morning and thought I’d missed my chance for breakfast, we were still offered it past our check out time.
Also, we had a muddy paw mishap with the bed and the linen was changed for us the same day without a word.
Couldn’t recommend staying here more - we were so impressed. Thank you so much!
4.7
great location to stay for walking the dog and dining out in the evening. the room was very lovely, nicely decorated and clean. the staff were very friendly, would definitely stay again
nothing
4.7
Beautiful place in beautiful surroundings, a pleasure to be right in the middle of everything and just paces away from some of the most breath taking walks in the country. Our stay was wonderfully comfortable and Emma, the owner, went out of her way to make us feel welcome and part of the family. A tasty breakfast, great array of drinks in the evening and a personal service.
I know the new owners have recently taken over and have lots of extras in mind, looking forward to staying again in the future and seeing those improvements.
4.7
Great breakfast and friendly staff. We had the place to ourselves which made all the differance.
Not much sea from the 'sea view' room, a little noisy as close to the A road, bed not that comfortable.
4.7
The breakfast was really talked up and really it was not £220 a night special .the surrounding area was fantastic.
The breakfast, the fact that no one was there for the rest of the time ..
4.7
Breakfast was very good. Girls were friendly. Location ideal for Cuckmere Haven, East Dean, Eastbourne and Seaford. Plenty of hot water - shower good.
It was all a bit clunky with numerous instructions, rules, FAQs to pre-read. Food menu didn't arrive until too late for dinner options. Difficult to find staff for queries and even to hand keys over. No TV. Although warned about the lack of hotel WiFi there was a paid option - which still didn't work (could do with WiFi boosters in some areas). Room was OK but hot and a bit tired, bathroom - towel rail fell off.
4.7
location. decoration. comfortable beds.
4.7
The breakfast was one of the most delicious I've had other than my own kitchen, I have extremely high standards and they delightfully exceeded them.
What is not to like? I can't think of anything I would change.

awful awful awful
everything
4.7
truly fabulous!! amazing setting, staff & format for freedom of stay.
the smallest of thing, there needs to be some sort of sink / tap / access to water downstairs.
4.7
I asked for a small breakfast, so there wasn't a lot that could go wrong. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
Nothing really.
4.7
Very tasty breakfast and very kind staff serving breakfast.
Excellent location for exploring Seven Sisters and getting to Beachy Head, a quick bus or taxi journey from Seaford.
Beautiful farmhouse and environment, very picturesque.
WiFi in the Under the Eaves room is very weak.
4.7
Such a special place in the world. Charming historical building where the forest meets the seaside. The room was beautiful, and the dining area was lovely. Great breakfast, with delicious coffee. We loved the cliffside walks, forest walks to the brewery, pastoral ramblings and arctic swim. Nina was an effervescent host.
4.7
Fabulous location and gorgeous rooms. We had the suite and one other room and they were superb. And we could walk from our doorstep to all the key pathways of the area.
The dessert option at dinner could be improved a
Little.
