Lovely outdoor space but cottage needs some TLC.
Pretty spacious cottage with lovely garden
Property in need of TLC, has rising damp, down stairs bathroom dirty, windows don’t open in downstairs bedroom and is damp. No work surfaces in kitchen to facilitate food prep. Owner entered property whilst out and went in bedrooms closing windows which were open so rooms weren’t stuffy which was not acceptable. Also turned up at 7.30 am on morning of checkout in garden which made my parents feel uncomfortable and like they had to rush to leave although check out not till 10am.

Perfect stay
Perfect price, lovely owner Sue gave us a tour and told us a bit of history about the property which was spotlessly clean and my standards are extremely high. We were astounded by the amount of amenities! Plates, trays furniture breakfasts, cutlery, cooking bits, fresh milk ready in the fridge for us, tea bags, coffee, all there waiting after our drive to the property. Theres a lot to do just in terms of walking and exploring and soaking up the views and a huge variety of places to go for food etc. There's two pubs either end of the road, a coffee shop opposite that we got breakfasts from on the way home which were excellent, a couple of shops, chinese, news agent etc. The facilities are great in the bathroom, excellent shower, musical mirror which links to your bluetooth & the beds are very, very comfortable to sleep in and very fresh and clean. Also an added bonus is the lovely garden and garden dining table, which can offer itself up for a nice evening in as the area is dead silent ( slept deeply night after night ) and theres plenty of space for parking at the side of the property:) The owners obviously take a lot of pride in their property and even have a coffee corner in the lounge with a coffee machine and all sorts of cups, glasses, mugs, saucers etc which we made great use of. The little touches really helped us to relax, including a massive array of menus and day trip leaflets in the property and on one day when we went into the main part of Norwich for drinks and other planned activities there were taxis available into early hours of the morning and a reasonable price. Cant wait to return!
No criticisms whatsoever.

Perfect location for a relaxing break.
Excellent location, good facilities at the cottage, two good pubs short distance away and the river on the doorstep.
Nothing to be critical of.

Beautiful cottage, stunning location and friendly owners
Richard & Sue provided the most warm friendly welcome. A beautifully decorated cottage, that has been kept within the same family for generations since 1902. It’s equipped with everything you can think of - a lot of thought has gone in to guests comfort (eg iron, coffee, umbrellas, even binoculars!). Lovely and clean, in the most perfect stunning location.
Nothing!
