Decent stay but not comfortable for shower

The location is great, beds are comfortable and there’s an elevator.

The shower water pressure is small and the shower head couldn’t stay upright.

excellent apartment on the heart of Florence

loved the location of this great apartment . 2 floors - main bedroom downstairs and twin beds upstairs with a bonus roof top lookout bench . we saw the fireworks ! fab kitchen and dining area and walk to major landmarks . host was very good with communication. highly recommend.

Super zentrale Wohnung mit allem was man braucht — jederzeit wieder!

- zentrale, aber ruhige Lage - komfortable zweigeschössige Wohnung mit zwei Badezimmern - sauber und renoviert - unkomplizierter Zugang - perfekt für einen Kurzaufenthalt

- Endreinigungskosten, die kurz vor der Anreise zum ersten Mal erwähnt wurden (konnte geklärt werden) - im Treppenhaus riecht es noch nach Schimmel - Schlafsofa war sehr unbequem

good location for small family

good for a small family. very comfortable beds, dark out curtains.

they obviously get booked often. some things could use some TLC from the other guests. little things start to fall apart from a lot of use (or abuse). I alerted the management and they were happy to help quickly. (we opt-out the fixes, as it didn’t bother us much)

A limpeza deixou um pouco a desejar. Poderiam ser duas camas de casal, e não dois sofás cama.

Ubicación Bonito apartamento Cómodo

Reserve apartamento de 2 habitaciones y el que me dieron fue de 1 habitacion. Los encargados me indicaron que fue un ERROR de booking.com. La verdad preferí no seguir el reclamo para no entorpecer mis vacaciones familiares . Es la primera vez que no coincide completamente el detalle de la reserva . Del resto el apartamento es recomendado por nuestra parte

入住时卫生也打扫的很不干净，入住两天不提供卫生清洁，不知道是不是意大利都是如此，连airbnb的房东都能每天帮我们把垃圾倒了

很多，浴室也很小，块头大一点的周转都不方便

Excelente custo-benefício/ muito bem localizado

Localização, roupas de cama e toalhas, cama confortável. Muito bem localizado e com muita opção de lugares para comer.

Não tinha uma garrafa de água como recepção da acomodação. Máquina de secar roupas não seca totalmente a roupa (utilizei todas as funções da máquina e a roupa ficou úmida mesmo assim). Não tem um “varal” ou “entendedor de roupas” no apartamento. Sugestão: Fazer um vídeo explicando o funcionamento dos equipamentos de cozinha e lavanderia do apartamento. Consegui usar, mas deu um pouco de trabalho para entender no início da estadia.

Florence Carapelli Apartments

This apartment is very well located. Close to the attractions route but on a quiet street. It is modern and spacious with excellent air conditioning. There is a shared laundry with everything needed and good kitchen facilities if you want to cook. The host does not interfere with your stay. I thought the agreement was very intimidating at first, but it was not a problem.

Previous guests had not taken care and there was some damage in the bathroom. Please be careful guests! We found some cookware didn't work with the induction cook top, however there were plenty that did.

Very good

We loved the location and the fact that the apartments and the building are beautifully renovated. The laundry room on the ground floor was a plus. We really enjoyed being so close to the Santa Croce neighborhood.

The apartment is clean and spacious for a family of 4 not five. One bathroom was not enough for us. Also I did not like the bedsheets and pillows. They should definitely invest in good bedsheets, pillows and a mirror. If someone is in the washroom there are no mirrors to get ready.

10+ stars! Wonderful location and very comfortable apartment!

Our family of four absolutely loved everything about this apartment!!! Perfect location— easily walkable to everything. Our daughters loved having their own space upstairs. The air conditioning worked very well, and the host was very responsive. Self check- in was seamless, and having access to the washer and dryer (downstairs in the common area) was very convenient! Would definitely stay here again.

A great stay

Location was perfect (a quiet street near many sights), easy check-in and check-out, the staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious (there were four of us and there was plenty of room), and the kitchen was well-equiped (except for a wine opener). Fortunately, the AC worked without problems, and the laundry room was a nice addition. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Little things, like the dishwasher not working, no wine opener, not enough toilet paper (an easy fix: the grocery store was only 3 minutes away, which was great).

A door code was provided for the outside of the property and another code to collect the key card for the apartment. Good facilities, everything you need. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

Stylish, spacious apartment in an excellent location.

Very spacious, modern apartment with plenty of air and light. The beds were large and comfortable both in the bedroom and the sofa bed. The apartment had two bathrooms: fantastic for a family of four. The kitchen was adequately supplied; could have been a few more utensils. Wifi was excellent: didn't drop out and was accessible throughout the apartment. Location was 10/10: minutes walking distance to everywhere significant, except, perhaps supermarkets, which were a bit out of theway.

I didn't like the stools in the kitchen. They were too high. I would prefer lower chairs with a back. I didn't like the bulbous table lamps which protruded from the table and were in danger of being knocked off.

It was spacious. And comfortable. But we did have a problem with mosquitoes. We got about 50 bites while we were there in the apartment. We could see them flying around. Other than that everything went well.

Nicely finished apartment in central location

Perfect location if you want to be close to the main attractions. The property is nicely finished and quiet with good blackout curtain. The staff is responsive. Very accessible with a lift.

Nothing critical but the property could be more thoroughly checked between guests to make sure there are amenities available such as dishwasher tablets and drains are unblocked. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the TV wasn’t connected to the internet so you can’t watch Netflix etc.

Great home to explore Florence.

The apartment and location were great! It was very clean and a comfortable home away from home.

The apartment was generally noisy with other guests. We stayed in apartment 3 and heard every movement of the other guests above and next to us. This occurred all night and interrupted sleep. This was our only dislike. Not sure if it was overly noisy or the insulation between apartments is minimal. Either way it was loud.

there wasn’t enough toiletries in all our rooms…apartment 1 has 6 of us and there was only 3 toilet papers so we had to buy some. In our apartment 4 only had 2 and there’s always someone walking and moving furniture above our room at all times, no matter if it’s day or late at night.

Mixed feelings but good overall

The apartment is very spacious, there is 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, lot's of amenities, everything was nice and clean. Huge thumbs up for the pool, we liked it very much!

The last bedroom was very cold and smelled like putrid so we used the living rooms couch for sleeping.

couldn’t use hair dryer that was provided in bathroom, had to use it in living area over couch due to the type of plug, no full length mirror, ran out of toilet paper (although the owner brought some by later) as we were unfamiliar with using a bidet

I stayed in the apartment with terrace and private pool. Large size apartment could comfortably sleep 4-6 people. Nice garden terrace with multiple chairs and tables. Has two kitchens. Two and a half bathrooms. Pool is good. Luke warm, has jets. But wouldn't call it a hot tub. Good restaurant next door. Clean. Safe.

Usually would have some coffee/tea for this kind of accommodation, didn't have anything. FYI, washer and dryer are not inside the apartment, would have been good to know this ahead of time. W/D are in a common area.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Although quite a distance away from train station and bus stops, the location is very central.

Too far from the nearest bus stops, so we to lug our luggage through the streets in the wet weather. Quite distressing if you are visiting this city for the first time.

Disappointing.

Location. Terrace.

An apartment with two-bedrooms and a living room was reserved ("Apartment with terrace"), but we got only one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. (ground floor nr.1) Living room: The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and took the place, so it made the room as a living room unusable. Bedroom: there is high humidity in the room, it gives you a feeling of sweat. Under the bedroom there is a jacuzzi we didn't use because of cold and not good looking water. The sound of water or sewage in the pipes in the walls can be heard.

if there had been more information and good contact numbers I would have enjoyed the stay much more -

location well decorated quiet

-no information available - eg emergency medical number ie where does the rubbish go as no one to ask no cleaner came in - eg where’s the nearest supermarket ?- no emergency number at property for the office of property no clean bath towels during the stay and kitchen sponge dirty and washing up liquid used - felt just like left overs from previous tenant - should have been new and more than one dish cloth for the whole week- problem with the front door entry not addressed - so often unable to get in as buttons jammed and didn’t reset/ so code wouldn’t work - v poor response from apartment employee - no apology and it wasn’t fixed - told to be “careful” ridiculous and rude - and it was very very difficult to speak to anyone and when I did she didn’t follow up with me as agreed and didn’t give me a proper key so we didn’t have to deal with the door problem every time we returned to property

Dreamy stay in Florence!

I enjoyed my stay at Carapelli Apartments a lot! I booked one bedroom unit #4, which was on the 2nd floor of renovated building consisting of various size tourist apartments. The building looks like a typical Florentine house on the outside on a very quite street 5 min away from all city attractions. Inside it's a modern, clean, tastefully decorated building with all amenities tourists may need including a mirrored elevator and washing/drying room on the ground floor for all guests. My apartment overlooked a wonderful terrace on the top of the building across, great view! Inside it was very charming, spacious, fully equipped with everything in the kitchen, working shower and AC, tv in both living room and bedroom, very stylishly decorated throughout in soft gray-beige palette (loved all light fixtures and a wardrobe with light!). Owners/managers were extremely responsive and answered all my questions/requests immediately. Check in was streamlined and easy to follow: I entered the building with the provided code and picked my keys from the box next to my apartment. Wish I could stay longer and will book again without hesitation!

A cord for window panels in the bedroom didn't work on one side, so they didn't close completely. Wasn't critical to me and is probably an easy fix.

The 2nd bedroom is in the loft - bit of a strange configuration with stairs in middle of 2 single beds. The beds probably more suitable for children than adults.

Great location in the heart of the historical centre of Florence.

Great location. Walking distance from the Uffizi galleries, the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio and more. The gluten intolerant people in our family were excited to find a gluten free restaurant a 3 minute walk away. Our children loved their loft bedroom and the little viewing platform that looks out from the roof. My parents were very happy with their bed. We were grateful there was access to a washing machine in the building. Very clean. Nicely decorated and renovated.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable so we ended up putting the mattress on the floor. No detergent supplied for either the dishwasher or the washing machine so had to go out and buy a big box when we were only there 3 nights. We opened the windows for a while on the last evening and then were all bitten by mosquitos in the night.
