About this house rental

Windsor Lodge sits on the elevated slopes of Queenstown Hill, situated in a quiet leafy street this large home is perfect accommodation for multiple families or large groups. Spacious living with 5 bedrooms and a private alcove with a single bed downstairs, 3 large bathrooms 2 of which have a large bath, an enormous kitchen, large garage and plenty of off street parking for extra vehicles. Windsor Lodge can boast it has the living space to match the large number of guests it accommodates. Windsor Lodge is a 15 minute minute walk to town and enjoys lake and mountain views including Bobs Peak and the Remarkables.
All new comfortable beds in all 5/6 bedrooms. 4 double bedrooms on the main floor and the 5th bedroom in the loft is large 40 sq meters sleeping 6 easily. The loft is also set up with a large television and serves as an extra living space. A single bed downstairs is not technically a bedroom but it is private, we call it the Snorers Corner. The Super King beds in all the bedrooms can be split into singles giving plenty of options for sleeping larger groups. A new outdoor spa pool overlooking Lake Wakatipu ticks that final box for the ultimate holiday.

The house was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking views and very spacious particularly given we have 3 families staying together. The hosts were very quick at communicating whenever we had any queries. Close to everything and kept us all fit walking up the hill from town. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Lovely warm and cozy atmosphere, with plenty of room and crockery etc for our family of 8 adults and 4 children, and absolutely magnificent views. The kiddies loved their ‘den’ upstairs and their parents loved relaxing in the hot tub when they were tucked up in bed!

Amazing property and even better host. Alison was so helpful and went above and beyond for our group. She even had a new internet modem delivered mid-stay when the internet had some connectivity issues. The property itself is very well equipped, in a great location and is perfect for a large group. We had the best stay and hope to return again one day.

We had such an amazing time in this house , very clean and well equipped . The loft upstairs was perfect for all the kids. Gorgeous fireplace , electric blankets were a hit too . Can’t fault this house at all . Location was excellent

Great lounge and fire place. Heaps of firewood. Warm rooms. Plenty of towels, lovely linen. Decor is cozy. Kitchen superbly equipped. Heated towel rails everywhere. Spa is just gorgeous. Amazing supply of lovely glassware, crockery and cutlery. Highly recommend this beautiful property just wish that it was blanketed in snow….next time!

We loved this house for our large group of three families. The loft was perfect for the teens. And the other four bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. Bathrooms also a great size. The hot tub was awesome. That view!! We would love to come back some day.

The house was very well equipped, and had spectacular views which was thoroughly enjoyed from both inside the house and from the hot tub. The kitchen was a delight, the rooms well appointed and it was a delight to be there. We will definitely love to go again.

We had a great experience... the house was perfect for two families - and the boys loved the upstairs room! It came with everything we needed, including a high chair and porta cot, which made the holiday so easy and the design was perfect allowing everyone to have their own space. Highly recommend the house - and the views are beautiful!

Windsor Lodge was everything we could have asked for & more. This quality, well appointed property has all finishing touches for a perfect venue for our special birthday celebration with friends. Although it didn't bother us, some may be deterred by the steep walk up the hill from the town, but taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. The views over the mountains were fabulous especially from the hot tub. Set in a quiet neighbourhood, this property suits a mature group perfectly. Fabulous!

We were in Queenstown for my sons wedding. We couldn't have picked a more comfortable,well equiped house. From the outstanding views to the proximity to town everything was perfect. Beds were super cosy with beautiful linen. I just wish weren't so busy over the weekend so that we had more time to relax in this lovely home. We will definitely have to book again.

Superb location high on Queenstown Hill with amazing views. The house/Lodge is great. It has generous living areas and sleeps a lot of people but without anyone feeling like 'sardines'. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Having a spa was fantastic but I did think the instructions re maintenance were overly complicated. Only other -ve comment is that the showers in ground-floor bathrooms are quite small. Overall however this was an excellent property and good value for $.

Windsor Lodge was in a great location for our stay. We had a mixture of adults and teenagers and the latter were competing in Triathlon events. The house was beautifully presented, had heaps of extras, especially in the kitchen/living areas, great bathrooms, fireplaces and a huge garage for all the bikes etc. Everything worked!! Would definitely stay again if the need was there!
