We enjoyed our short trip. The house was clean & had everything that we required but there was opened, half eaten food found in the refrigerator when we arrived. Also, the rental agency emailed us just a few couple days prior to before our trip prior to our trip stating that they needed the 1st names & ages of everyone staying at the home or the reservation could be canceled. The house did not give any refund. I would not recommend this rental agency again.

Perfect home away from home within walking distance of the beach - which was a huge bonus on a busy summer weekend. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had the pleasure of chatting with a neighbor the day we arrived and appreciated his welcoming nature. I'm sure the busy vacation rental season can get tiresome for local families, but we felt right at home.

Close walk to beach, clear instructions, nice house.

The beach house was everything they said it would be. Loved being back in Seaside to have FUN & beach time....even in the rainđđđ

The location of the house was great. Walking distance to the beach and the main street. The house was clean and nicely furnished. My only advice would be to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. All that was provided was 2 hotel size conditioning shampoo for 8 people for 3 nights.

The house was even cuter and roomier than I expected! Everything was clean and in good repair. I would definitely stay here again.

This home was in a great location- near the beach and within walking distance of downtown, yet far enough away to escape the noise and congestion.

The house was clean, had everything we needed, and was extremely close to the beach and a few minutes from a grocery store.

SEA-PAC Ham Radio Weekend
We rented the house to join our parents for the weekend of the SEA-PAC Ham Radio Convention. The house was perfect for our elderly parents and three adult children. It was stocked with everything we needed, including a great kitchen for family meals. The living room has plenty of seating around the fantastic fireplace, perfect for those rainy costal days. The mattresses and linens were comfy and cozy. The location is fantastic, only a couple blocks from the beach without being in the business of âdowntownâ. We enjoyed a fire in the back yard fire pit, it was easy to get going thanks to the provided kindling. I found myself reading the guest book because the home owners wrote such a wonderful narrative of their visits to vacation and take care of the place. Hopefully it will be available for next yearâs SEA-PAC Convention.

Annual girls weekend
Not super kid friendly for little ones, but we made it work.
Great beach access.
Close to town, but not right in middle of the busy tourist area.

Second Timer
I stayed twice this summer at this darling home. My friends and their young daughters who joined me loved it as much as I did! The little girls reveled in having the backyard to romp and the privacy of their own little area inside. The grownups appreciated all the spaces. The trek to town, the beach, and the promenade was convenient and fun. This property fulfills all expectationsâand more! I cannot recommend it highly enough.
On a side note, one of the girls forgot to get her clothes out of a drawer. A call to the property managers solved the problem immediately; the cleaners bagged up the left behind items, and I picked them up at the office.

EXACTLY What We Needed
Because of previous experiences, Iâve lowered my expectations, but this place exceeded them! What pure joy to âplay houseâ here!!! It was perfection personified.
Why?
Itâs cozy, quaint, and comfortableâand clean.
Its beds were heaven.
The kitchen was well-stocked.
The backyard provided a lovely respite from long days.
The walk to the beach and downtown Seaside was short and easy.
The neighborhood was safe and quiet.
Check in and out was a breeze.
I highly recommend this rental as a perfect place for friends and family to gather, rest, and play.

Perfect for us
Our family of 6 had a great stay here over the Memorial Day weekend. The weather was picture picture and Seaside was busy with visitors. This charming home just 2 short "blocks" off the Prom was a great location. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc, but set away just enough for quiet and privacy. Personally, I would not feel comfortable with the constant parade of people passing by a house on the the Prom. Our kids are 24, 22, 17, and 15. We had plenty of room to spread out and everyone had their own comfortable bed. We made use of the bikes, kite, fire pit, dvd player (You have to watch The Goonies when you are this close to Astoria!) and well stocked kitchen. The only required clean up was a polite request to empty the trash, run the dishwasher and a load of towels. We left a load going in the dryer and one in the washer. I didn't feel this was a lot to ask and it was easy enough to achieve by 11 am. We also chose to strip the linens and leave them on each bed. I hope this helps the clean up crew. We appreciated the immaculately clean state we found the home in and did our best to leave things as we found them. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. It is obvious that you have put a lot of love and hard work into it.

Has everything you need!
What a great fit for us and our adult children. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishware and pots/pans etc. Only reason I gave 4 stars on the description is that it doesn't mention there is a fire pit and a couple bikes to use in the garage! It has a bit of an "old house" smell but it was very clean. Everything was in working order and I would definitely return!

House is much larger than expected, definitely had more than enough room for the four of us!

THE GOOD : Charming house with plenty of room, and in a great location just 2 blocks from the beach and an easy (1/2 mile?) walk the downtown core. The property manager was very accommodating with our request to check in 1-2 hours early. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need, and the shower was lovely!THE NOT QUITE SO GOOD : The cable TV was not working on arrival - the office and the property manager were extremely helpful in rectifying the situation (which involved installing a new cable box) - however, the back and forth and the install of the new box really bit in to our first evening - all we wanted to do was watch TV with the kids by the fire. We were informed that the fire was not working and no one was available to fix it until after our stay was over, so that was rather disappointing given that it was wet and cold October evening - and we dared not touch the thermostat as I was worried about forgetting to return it to the set temp. and incurring a penalty as noted on the check in sheet. We were definitely a bit chilly throughout our stay.Further, we did feel that given the current COVID situation. the house was not cleaned enough - there was a 'musty' smell throughout the house rather than 'clean' smell - perhaps just the age of the house? We had cause to move furniture away from the wall to access the outlets and the amount of dirt and grime behind furniture was unsettling. In addition, we found a note from a previous guest letting us know that the child before had wet the bed - we were definitely left wondering whether the housekeeper had seen this note and adequately cleaned! There were also hairs on the 'clean' towels.Further, we have stayed at many homes over the years, and we did find that the check out procedures to be a bit onerous with the ominous 'threat' of having a penalty payment if we didn't comply. In order to get everything done (two loads of laundry) - we had to make sure everyone got up early and showered so we could get the towels in the wash, and then through the dryer and another load on before the check out time. I literally spent our last morning stripping beds, doing laundry, dishwasher, emptying trash cans throughout the house, taking trash out, separating recycling etc - not a relaxing end to a vacation. It was a nice house, and we certainly enjoyed the location and Seaside, but I think we'll make other choices when we visit again.

Oregon Coast
We enjoyed our stay in Seaside. It was our family of 5 kids and my parents, 9 people total. This was our first visit to the Oregon Coast, we will be back and hopefully we can stay in this cute house again. The house was perfect for our family, comfortable, loved the decor and the history of Seaside through out. Had everything that we needed. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Great family rental
This was my first time renting a house for our visit to Seaside. It was so perfect for us we were a family of 7, very accommodating and welcoming. We will be back for sure.

Seaside is not the same
Seaside is very nervous about COVID. The friendly old town is no longer. From gentlemen I spoke To T the Chamber for extra parking permit (over mike from house) telling me that the crime committed in Seaside was done by the tourist to the neighbors who peeled out her windows at us all day. All 8 of us are 60
Plus years of age and been going away for over 25 years together, this was our least favorite stay. The house is okay, the community not ready for tourist.

It was a great place to distance to!
We had a great time in Seaside, and the size, and location of this house, for the price were wonderful. The beach feel of the home was very cozy & warm, and we loved the special touches right down to the dishes in the kitchen. There were a few things I wasn't as thrilled with. There were no dishes on the open cupboard shelves at all. The dishwasher was packed. The dishes were clean, but we had to put them all away where-ever before we could utilize the kitchen. Someone had swiped (more like smeared) the kitchen windows with a dirty rag and the windows were so bad/dirty you couldn't see out of them. We had to wash off the top of the kitchen garbage because it was gross. As part of checkout you have the renter to do some laundry before leaving. We opened the dryer to find a load of towels that had been left in there. We folded them and then washed 2 loads & left 1 load in the dryer. None of these are make or break, but I am kind of picky - especially when I am bringing my little grands on a get-away.

Very good
Overall, a very enjoyable experience. A few minor areas of improvement: some of the pans were worn and should be updated; the expectation do laundry before leaving is a bit excessive given the cleaning service is part of the cost for the stay; and the shower in the washroom needs an inner shower curtain.

House by the beach
What a great rental! This will be the 3rd rental house we have used at seaside and by far the cleaniest! It is an easy walk to the beach and the main center street for shopping. We loved the little back yard. It made for a great place to play cornhole and for the kids to run around. There was a slight problem with the smoke detectors batteries but management came out within the hour to fix it. Talk about great service. The only downside was the kitchen was a little too stocked in dishes. It proved difficult in finding places to place food, but this house was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beach house at seaside!
