The breakfast was pretty good and the dining area was great.

When we got there, the bathroom floor was sticky and we had to have someone clean it. The upper sides of the sink had hair clippings in it. And the bedspread was dirty. Luckily, there was a sheet under it and on top of it to keep it covered. There was no elevator, so we had to carry all of our stuff up the stairs to the second floor.

Not a Good Experience

The lady at the front desk is very friendly. She is always very nice.

Bathroom floor was very sticky. There were whiskers in the sink. There was food under the bed . The sheet on the bed wasn't the correct sheet, it kept coming off in the night. It made for a rough night of trying to sleep very uncomfortable. We went down for breakfast at 8 and the eggs were pretty empty. I have stayed here 4 other times and have never seen it like this.

Almost heaven!

My room was perfection! My bed pillowtop bed was a treat. Everything was super clean! There were premium towels and plenty of hot water! There wasn't a lot of noise in the hallway and I was able to get my proper rest. I can't say enough about the staff, so friendly and helpful. They had great coffee and cookies.

I can't think of anything, seriously!

Not like we would have liked it.

Location was good for breakfast. Motel was easy to find.

Breakfast items did not keep up with amount of people at the time. Bathroom was not clean- shower curtain a mess. Ice machine was down. Did not get our assigned room on first floor, you had put someone else in it. TV would not come on. They came up and work with it and got it on. But when it was time to go to bed it would not shut off and no one there knew what to do. My husband finally moved TV consul and unplug which was very heavy. Last nite you had a wedding party staying there and at 2:30AM in the morning, very nosey in next room wake up our grandchild. I believe we deserve a discount on room.

Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly.

The in room coffee maker was dirty along with the tray it was on. also missing regular coffee and sugar and creamer . I also found an old breadstick under the edge of my bed. The smoke alarm went off in my room around 5 A.M. It took staff at least ten minutes to shut it off. We spent the next night in the same room without an alarm. We weren’t offered a different room. I chose this motel over the others in Boone because of good reviews. It cost more than the others in town so I expected it to be above average.

Great place to stay as adults.

Very clean place to stay. The staff was kind, and the continental breakfast was good too. Bonus they have a bar right in the lobby.

Really nice hotel in a remote town of Iowa

The quality of the breakfast was very good. Hot items were available. Eggs and sausage or bacon were tasty. In addition, they also had bananas available. This is how I personally rate a location on whether they have bananas or not. It is a small item however, I have found over many years of traveling for business that other aspects of the hotel are looked after as well. For example, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, working conditions of equipment. The staff at the front desk was very friendly when I checked in and checked out. They have a small bar connected to the front desk that will serve you beer, wine, and liquor. After working on my computer in the evening for three hours it was nice to come down stairs and have a small glass of bourbon over ice. Really nice.

They have a nice work desk. I wish the height of the chair, at the desk, could go higher. It is adjustable however, when at the highest position it still is too low to work properly on a computer at the desk and I am 5' 10". I have starting sitting on a couple of pillows in an attempt to raise my torso up. This style/brand of chair is used at many locations which is unfortunate.

Stayed 7 nights, breakfast was same several days in a row, little variety on the hot stuff

Housekeeping. No one entered room the entire time,( 7 night stay) we asked for clean towels one day never got them. Had to go down to main desk on our late night return so we could shower. Placed them outside the door on a different day like others were doing, never got any clean ones back. Same for garbage, if put outside door they took care of it.

Gave us 2 doubles. Booked a queen. No housekeeping was done. Nicest hotel in Boone, was too late and tired to worry about the bed situation and it is their busiest weekend so staffing for freshening up room could have been the problem

Mixed review

Once.I was able to climb ( with help) into bed it was comfortable. Breakfast offerings were generous and good. Staff tried hard to accommodate us during long wait for check in. It was clean.

Delayed room availability: we sat in lobby 1 1/2 hrs after arrival because room not ready. Beds were too high for average senior citizen. Bath room needed assistance bars.

Loved the area. Close to town. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed and loved the pillows. Spacious room. Nice grass field out back to walk the dogs. Friendly staff.

Really not any complaints. Great place to stay.
