About this house rental

Rent a beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bath home close to Minneapolis and everything that's fun to do in the western suburbs!. Sit outside on the large deck after a long day with the gorgeous view of the lake and wetlands is the perfect way to relax. This home has everything you need. The outdoor areas include 2 brick patios with portable fire pits and stocked firewood. The upstairs deck includes a dining table, chairs, chimenea, gas and charcoal grill. The two car garage and the long flat driveway are available for parking. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds, and the fourth has a very comfortable full size pull out. Two of the bedrooms were recently remodeled with new paint, bedding and carpet. The half bath is also new. The lower level walks out to the large patio and has a wet bar and refrigerator, large screen TV and family room. The kitchen, dining room and living room are surrounded by south facing windows leading to the deck. Home is situated along direct access to miles of paved walking or biking paths overlooking a park and small baseball field.

It fulfilled all our needs. It’s a great place for kids because it’s on a 3 mile trail and close to a fun filled playground. The owner/manager went out of their way to provide play pen and baby gate, coffee, candy and wine.

Wonderful location, quiet, peaceful, many amenities 5-10 minutes away, 3.2 mile walk around Rice Marsh Lake starting steps from the back door. Clean, eclectically decorated, and well maintained. We’ll be back.

We spent a wonderful week here while visiting family. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. It’s located in a quiet suburban neighborhood a short distance from Chanhassen center, with shopping, restaurants and the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. The upper floor is bright and airy, with a large deck that offered views of the lake. The lower floor has a large television and access to a patio area. Although there are homes all around, due to the beautiful landscaping this home feels private and secluded. It sits next to a 3-mile loop trail around Rice Marsh Lake.

We were in MN for a family graduation. This home and the area were perfect. The house has everything you would need, is clean and organized, and we received a warm welcome. The decks overlooked a beautiful wooded area that was surrounded by a walking path. We enjoyed the nature. We felt very comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. We would stay again.

We really enjoyed our extended vacation in Chanhassen, three weeks, in a beautiful welcoming home along side a park, with a playground and a three mile bike path around the lake. Our hosts were fantastic, providing us with community information and easy access via texts for any questions or concerns. The deck was large and enjoyed everyday, for coffee, afternoon accidental naps, and even a small gathering for dinner. We used the charcoal Weber, and had a tasty barbecue. Thank you, Jenny and Blake, for a beautiful autumn experience in Minnesota.

We had a wonderful reunion with family coming from all over the US. The hosts were very responsive and their home was beautiful. A feeling of being suspended in the trees in a treehouse but with lots of natural light.

Our hosts were very good at communicating. the property inside and out was very well taken care of. We were impressed with how clean everything was. We stay at many rentals through out the country and this was one of the cleanest and well equipped. They had everything we needed and more. The beds and linens were that of a first class hotel. We loved the outdoor space and being so close to the trails for biking and walking. We hope to visit again!

It is hard to add to prior reviews, everything is true. The Spillers have a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood where from the deck you feel in the woods with just views of trees and Minnesota marshes without houses to block your enjoyment. Especially beautiful in the fall as the leaves turn. Yet just outside the neighborhood are grocery stores, restaurants snd the amenities of the city we came to see family and enjoy the fall activities. A Not-To-Miss is the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre with professional productions of well loved musicals. Just reopened from Covid the performers are so talented and draw the audience in to the story, for a great evening and good food. We look forward to our next visit.

We loved staying at this home! It’s right next to a walking path that takes you to walkable lake that connects to other lakes and neighborhoods as well. The neighborhood is also nice to walk and is with an easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and highways. The home was very comfortable… We slept like babies! The home is quiet at night and the views from the back deck were outstanding! I highly recommend this home and Jenny is a lovely host!

My daughter and her family flew in from California and we flew in from Florida. Jenny’s house and location resulted in a perfect family get together. The house was the perfect size and beautifully laid out. The boys enjoyed the large backyard and the huge colorful playground 5 minutes away. We swam, paddle board in Lake Ann only 2 miles away. We were close to the aquarium at The Mall of America. The largest outdoor playground in Hyland was only 29 minutes away. Eating breakfast and dinner on their large porch was always fun. It is a lovely home with a beautiful shaded deck we spent many evenings enjoying. Right next to hiking trail around Rice Marsh Lake. Many nearby restaurants and parks. The property owners are very attentive. We hope to return for a future stay!

We loved our stay. Very livable home, with clean rooms and a good kitchen. Nice rear deck and there’s also a seating area in the front of the house. Big yard for children and just a short walk away is a baseball diamond, bike walk path, and playground. Safe neighborhood - we saw a bunch of deer and rabbits. We would definitely rent again. Tip: people who prefer it to be colder should sleep downstairs. There is a significant difference in the temperature between upstairs and downstairs.

This house has 2 floors with 4 bedrooms and 2 living rooms. Kitchen is spacious and up to date. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The balcony and porch have an amazing view of a nearby lake and the beautiful trees in the yard. It’s so relaxing just to sit on the porch and look at the trees in the garden. There is a very nice playground nearby and some easy hiking trails. There is also good grocery shopping nearby and lots of restaurants. I highly recommend this house. The host was very kind and helpful. Our whole family loved it!

Everything was so nice and Jenny had thought of everything. We spent 7 nights there and had our 2 grandchildren stay with us. They used scooter and skateboard when going to the park. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Well equipped kitchen. Close to everything in a friendly, safe neighborhood.
