The location was a walkable distance from our concert venue, the Italian restaurant Lazia as well as the room service breakfast were delicious, the room and hotel areas were nicely decorated and designed, and the staff was very lovely and accommodating!
The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a pool, but there were plenty of other things to enjoy during our stay!

I didn't like much at this hotel. The staff was friendly as was the valet attendant.
Rooms were small, hotel was noisy, and the attached restaurant served me "food" I wouldn't feed to my dog. Would never recommend this hotel or stay there again.

This is a charming, very comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The history-chic amosphere is very well done, and I simply loved the feel of the old doors and brick walls.
I was disappointed that the rooftop was closed, despite the weather being lovely. It would have been an excellent place to sit with a glass of wine. Even if the rooftop bar was closed, just being able to have access to an outdoor sitting space would have been nice.

This whole property is such a vibe. I absolutely love the location and the rooms are so comfortable and relaxing. The staff is also very friendly. I have stayed here before but experienced the bar for the first time on this trip. The bartenders were super friendly and service was fast so we had a great trip all around!
Parking sucks but that’s literally no fault of the hotel. It’s just downtown KC. If you don’t plan to use valet, you may have to walk a little bit to get to the hotel.

Decor was lovely. Great old building re-purposed as a hotel. Nice rooftop.

Thought they provided transportation fromthe Amtrak Train Union Station and to the airport for access to the rental cars…

The Hotel was Absolutely Beautiful!
Everyone that we encountered were very pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone.
We loved that it was an old building that was restored
and repurposed.
There wasn't a thing that we didn't like.

Staff were very friendly. Restaurants were high quality and loved the shuffle board table in lobby bar.
No nearby convenient stores to get waters or small grocery needs.

My wife and I were planning to get married somewhere in Kansas City. The rooftop bar was closed, but the staff let us onto the roof with our friends and we had the wedding alone on the roof with a great view of Kansas City behind us.
EVERYTHING was perfect during our stay, from the valet to the bartenders, to the front desk people. Facilities were amazing.

very interesting building. food was good. drinks were strong. no key card needed for after hours entry to lobby or floor (huge bonus). room was beautifully decorated and mini bar fully stocked.
bed and bed linens were just okay. would have rather a higher quality down comforter and pillows otherwise I’d stay here again

Everything about our stay was perfect from top to bottom! The hotel itself is gorgeous. The hotel staff could not have been kinda or more helpful. We cannot wait to stay again!
There was some noise from a wedding party but it wasn't terrible

This is such a beautiful property in a great area. We loved how clean and comfortable our room was and the overall modern look of it all.
Due to the area, parking is a challenge. This is by no means the fault of the property but just something to be aware of. The staff also was not the most friendly I’ve ever encountered. They weren’t necessarily rude but also not exactly pleasant. All exchanges were just short, simple, and not really any smiles or small talk.

Swanky rooms. Good ceiling height and designs. Big shower and good furniture. I.e., sofa a foot of bed.
Front desk sits in front of elevators to rooms. Nothing else is in the lobby besides the front desk clerks and elevators. Thus lay out requires constant interaction w front desk l as they are trying to be say hi to you. Also they tend to hound "guests" that come to "visit". If they want to insure no un-escorted guests come in they need to secure the elevator w room key access only, not question your guests as to their business. Annoying...

hip and well designed; Lazia is excellent and lobby bar /restaurant XR was very convenient and accommodating. Overall great experience but still overpriced.
NO Windows! two rooms in our party; paid top rate and yet rooms offered no connection to an outside world.
