About this house rental
2 Story house in a QUIET neighborhood, Walking distance to Pubs, Restaurants, River Cruises, Train Station, Shops and the Mystic Seaport. A short hop away is the Mystic Aquarium 1.5 miles, Casino's 20 min, and Beaches. This was my family house growing up and we are empty nester's now. We worked hard stripping and redoing the Hardwood floors, painting, and updating the kitchen with new appliances, a new counter top and sink.
It is well stocked with cooking items and spices. There is plenty of parking. A front and back porch for lots of sitting and relaxing after a day of site seeing. Yard with Grill, picnic area, lots of Adirondacks, Swings and we have a lovely view of Mystic, Birds, and a Garden. We have a Pack and Play and High Chair.
There is a washer and Dryer as well as wifi.
It is well stocked with cooking items and spices. There is plenty of parking. A front and back porch for lots of sitting and relaxing after a day of site seeing. Yard with Grill, picnic area, lots of Adirondacks, Swings and we have a lovely view of Mystic, Birds, and a Garden. We have a Pack and Play and High Chair.
There is a washer and Dryer as well as wifi.

We stayed in this fantastic cottage with another family (9 total guests) for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the house, lovely yard with fire pit, and neighbor’s goats. The house is incredibly well-stocked. We enjoyed a home cooked meal and lobster boil during our stay. The house is a short walk to coffee and ice cream as well. We highly recommend this property.

The house exceeded our expectations. Clean, well appointed and stocked with everything we needed including stuff for my grandkids. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the water. We had a great time and highly recommend this lovely home. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Stayed here for my daughter’s high school graduation weekend with family from out of town. Bob was great to work with leading up to and through our stay. The house had everything we needed and gave us the space and amenities to connect as a family since we all live in different places. The outdoor space is great for just hanging out at night and being able to just walk to downtown mystic is always good. We enjoyed watching the goats across the street do their thing also. Definitely would stay again.

Love this home, it was so comfortable and charming to host our family for our daughter’s graduation. It’s always nice to have a bottle of wine waiting upon arrival, throwback to first Paris VRBO 14 years ago. The backyard was perfect for family relaxing, chatting and napping. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Mount Summit exceeded all our expectations! The house is quite spacious and the photos really don’t do it justice. We rented Memorial Day weekend for 8 visiting family members with ages ranging from 5-79. There was plenty of space, seating, dishes, kitchen supplies and comfort for all. Kids and adults alike loved the outdoor space, especially the awesome tree swings and porch furniture. Beautiful sunsets, proximity to downtown, plenty of parking and great communication with the host make this a place I would rent every time our family visits. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this property! We enjoyed all the special touches the owners were thoughtful enough to incorporate in our stay. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, as well as the living area. The front and back porches were also lovely. Would definitely recommend this home. The owners were also very easy to work with.

We just spent a short weekend in mystic . This property is by our kids standard their favorite . The pictures do not do justice to this place . It is even nicer in person . Everything was just perfect . We enjoyed sitting on the porch during light rain . The kids took full advantage of the lovely back yard . The kitchen was very well appointed . The bedrooms allowed for everyone to have their space . Just an awesome house .

Six high school friends get together each year. This was a fun destination. The house exceeded our expectations. Just lovely and peaceful. We could walk to everything. Loved it. Highly recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Bob's lovely home. Bob was a great host who was communicative and responsive, and the home was lovely. We particularly loved the backyard space and firepit. The location was perfect - quiet and remote, but close enough to restaurants/shops in downtown Mystic. All in all, a great time and we hope to be back soon!

The second we walked in the door to the beautiful home, we felt a sense of calm and relaxation. The house was cozy, the porches and views were like a piece of heaven. Bob was wonderful to work with. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. Next year we will!!!

My girlfriends and I had a perfect weekend in Mystic staying here. This property is in an ideal location, on a very quiet street with a short walk to downtown. The place feels much larger than the photos appear. This house is very well stocked, they have everything you would need and more. We are already planning to go back again next summer!

Our family of 5 adults and 2 children (ages 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 years) stayed at this PERFECT home. Not only was the home beautiful, comfortable and clean, but every possible need was provided for. The hosts clearly have put a lot of thought into making sure that all the bases are covered. A/C and ceiling fans kept everyone cool and happy. And the hosts welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine!
My two grandkids fell in love with the backyard swings as well as the porch swing and hammock. We all had plenty of room for running around and playing backyard games, including croquet. And it was a special treat to have so many children's books to choose from for bedtime stories.
We didn't visit typical Mystic tourist attractions but instead enjoyed time at local beaches recommended by the host. Esker Point and Williams were perfect for small children and had plenty of free parking. Williams also has a nice, small playground but the grandkids really loved Tercentennial Legacy Playground in Groton, just a 10-15 drive away. It is quite large and has a wide variety of equipment that is accessible to children of all abilities.
Most of our meals were eaten at home in the well-equipped kitchen but we did have a couple fantastic dinners out. We all really enjoyed the seafood offerings at The Mariner in Mystic and at Ford's Black & Blue in nearby Noank.
All in all, we had a PERFECT stay at 1 Summit in Mystic! Kudos to the wonderful hosts!

We appreciated lots of things about this house including the shaded front and back porches with nice seating, hammock on the front porch, beautiful back yard and swing set + yard toys for for kids, bird and hummingbird feeders, community garden next to the backyard, clothesline, indoor toys and games for kids, outdoor eating area, the well equipped kitchen, air conditioners throughout the house. The owner had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We discovered the fridge wasn’t properly cooling during our visit and the owner had a back up fridge set up for us in the morning. Would definitely stay again if we go to Mystic again.

Our family of five checked in for the Fourth of July holiday. We were pleasantly surprised by the family friendly tools…bath toys, a changing pad, pack and play, an arsenal of a library, games, movies, swings, outdoor games. The home felt like we were staying at our grandmas house in the warmest way. I grew up in this town and this rental is steps from my parents house. It is such an easy walk downtown (prepare for a hill) with a stroller and right up the hill from CVS which came in handy for Tylenol and milk in a pinch. The home was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were a bit cramped but that comes with an historic home. Overall it was lovely and we would return. Owners were responsive and friendly but not invasive. It felt like it was ours for the week!

This is a nice quite neighborhood within walking distance of most things you'd like to do. I have been renting VRBO houses and cabins every year for 17 years and this was the MOST well equipped and supplied house we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. If you forget something they probably have it. They even had condiments in the fridge.

This place is quaint, spacious, and cozy as can be. It's somehow both secluded and close to everything. The views are spectacular and we really wanted for nothing while we were there. The owner is super helpful, friendly and really went above and beyond. Good find for a family if you can get it!

The house had me at porch swing! This home is charming, well appointed , very clean and welcoming. The house has everything we needed for our 4-day stay and is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Host responded immediately to questions during our stay and informed us of a celebration going on in town that he knew we would enjoy. Great experience! Highly recommend! This is one of the best rentals I have every stayed in! Perfect set up, VERY well stocked (better than any other house I've ever rented), and perfect location. You can walk to everything. And while the house does sit atop a large hill, the walk up it is more visually daunting than physically demanding. This is a premiere property!

This house is located just a short walk from town on a quiet, secluded street. For those with mobility issues, the walk back to the house is uphill. The house was VERY clean and well-stocked. Communication with the hosts was timely and transparent. They were accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed the evenings sitting in the quiet backyard enjoying the fire pit.

This property checked all of the boxes. We were close enough to town but still secluded and able to enjoy the peace and quiet. It fit our group of seven very comfortably. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Mystic.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Mystic! This house had plenty of room, a really nice yard and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. But still close enough to all the attractions. To be honest we now wish we had stayed longer given all there is to do in Mystic.
Plus the hosts were WONDERFUL! Really kind and communicative throughout the booking and stay process. We will be happy to stay again and would highly recommend this house and location to anyone looking.

My husband and I plus our two daughters and their husbands had a wonderful long weekend in this fabulous house. We loved the decor, but my favorite part might have been the porch. So relaxing! The house was well stocked with anything you could need and was walking distance to town. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this lovely home for a 4-day, 3-night stay to celebrate the 60th birthdays of six college friends. The home was lovely, so many charming accents, pieces of artwork, travel mementos, all of which made the house feel especially comfortable. The location is perfect, near downtown Mystic shops and restaurants. Yet it was in a quiet residential neighborhood. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!
