About this house rental
This newly remodeled beach house is ready for your next vacation. New to the rental market, this 3 bedroom 2 bath home has every amenity you could want. One block/2 minute walk to the beach. Myrtle Street beach. Within walking distance to Crab Trap, Crab Daddy's and many restaurants. Less than a mile to the pier. Privacy fence with an old fashioned seaside garden, newly landscaped yard and outdoor living space add a special appeal. Two of the bedrooms have new king size beds.
Our beach house features an open floor plan with spacious areas that are perfect for your vacationing family. The great room features shiplap walls, original wood beams, vinyl plank floors and new furnishings. Our dining area is conveniently located off the kitchen area and features a hand made, locally crafted wood plank table and bench with chairs. Furnishings are exquisite and include many one-of-a-kind treasures as well as original artwork throughout.
Our kitchen opens to the living area and has new wood cabinets with gorgeous quartz countertops. You'll love our modern island mounted range hood and upscale new appliances.
There are three bedrooms which are all beautifully decorated and feature vinyl plank flooring throughout. The spacious master bedroom with king size bed has a private bath with a large tiled shower with dual shower heads. The bathroom also has new wood cabinets and a stunning Vetrazzo handcrafted recycled glass countertop. Furnishings in the master bedroom include a king size bed with seagrass headboard, beautiful mirrored bedside tables and a comfortable seating area.
Our guest bedroom features a king size bed and side tables. Beautiful nautical themed bedding and original art complete this fantastic guest bedroom.
We call the third bedroom our 'Bunk Room'. This room was custom built by a true craftsman. It features board and batten ceilings and walls for both bunks. Built-in night lights are nautical navigation lights. There are so many custom designed and built details in this room that you'll just be amazed at its true charm.
The second bathroom also has beautiful tiled floors, new wood cabinets, and quartz countertops. This bathroom has a new tub/shower combination with upscale trims throughout.
We have a covered outdoor porch which opens to the lovely outdoor gardens. This space is 14 x 24 and has lots of room for your family to enjoy the outdoors throughout the day. We've got outdoor lighting and an overhead ceiling fan to complete this wonderful space.
Our yards are simply breathtaking. Professionally designed and landscaped, our front and back yards offer plenty of space to sit back and relax and enjoy the beauty of the island. Our back yard has a 6' privacy fence.

Property management was very responsive and communicated well. Great setup for a family beach vacation with the bunk beds and open living area. Location is great for walking to the beach or going downtown. Comfortable beds, linens and towels, but bring your own pillow. Well furnished for entertaining.

We have wanted to stay in this lovely home for several years, but it was always booked. We finally found an open window and enjoyed an amazing week here. The home is comfortable, has a lovely beach vibe, and is within walking distance of the beach. It is a property we will certainly return to.

We have stayed at a lot of places over the past 5 years while visiting SSI. We love this house the most! Ms. Patti is an amazing hostess and she has a true gem in this house. The location is fabulous & the house is always clean and safe. We would love to stay here every time we visit, but it’s often booked!

What a lovely little house! Light and open living area, fenced yard for our pup and everything is brand new. Also a perfect location. Kind of a little “secret street”, but so close to the beach and several restaurants. And easy walk to the pier area. We’ll be back!

My family absolutely loved staying at this sweet home. It was an easy walk to the beach and other attractions, the yard was in bloom and the flowers were so pretty, and it was the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed in. Our golden retriever pup loved walking the quaint neighborhood streets as well. The overall vibe of Saint Simons gave me a feeling of nostalgia and was beautiful with all the older homes (some newer) and large trees draped in moss. We hope to visit again!

My husband and I had the best time at this property for the month of March. This beautiful roomy property is on a quiet dead-end street and is only a short 5 minute walk to a big dog friendly beach. You are also only a 10 minute walk to a coffee and ice cream shop, 2-3 restaurants, and a great gift shop. The backyard is fenced, and it also has a large screened in porch. All the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bathrooms are beautiful. The walk-in shower in the main bathroom has smartly placed grab bars for us older folks. We found a wonderful church that was a lovely 20 minute drive away lined with live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. Our Host was so accommodating; I asked if there was a blender at the property, and she made sure we had a new Ninja blender. I really would like to add a lot of negatives, so people won't pick this property because we want it available for us again, but there are no negatives.

Location, location, location! The house is very close to the beach and just a walk away from great places to eat. It was the perfect place for us, and our four-legged family LOVED the fenced backyard! You’ll have no problem relaxing when it’s time to rest - the bedding and pillows are very comfy. Would definitely book again if we return to SSI.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and Patti is an excellent host. The location is ideal with an easy walk to the beach, King and Prince, restaurants, and shops. The house's layout is perfect and includes everything you need, and we appreciated the brick walled back yard and Weber Grill for dinner at home. The beach chairs and cart make trips to the nearby Myrtle Street beach access a breeze. We can't wait to come back!

Have stayed at this property multiple times.Very clean and love the location! Great proximity to restaurants and ease of walking to the beach. Owner is always very kind and prompt to answer any questions. An added bonus is the fenced backyard for the convenience of our sweet dog. The kitchen is very well appointed, best I’ve ever seen! Location, location, location! Just a block from the beach on a quiet street, this house is the perfect spot for a getaway to St. Simons. Everything is clean, bright, and updated, including a very well-equipped kitchen. My dog loved that it was pet-friendly with a fenced back yard. We had a great visit!

We have found our winter home! Patti’s place is just wonderful. Great neighborhood, neighbors, location, very clean quiet and comfortable. We have done a lot of vrbo stays and this is one of the best! Patti is great and very responsive to whatever is needed and quickly! Loved being so close to the beach and village. Looking forward to staying again next year!

This was an amazing home! Fenced in yard was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed by our dogs. Cottage was a block from the beautiful beach and close to the downtown village. Restaurants we tried were excellent, especially Crabdaddy's and Fiddler's. Plan to return to this cottage next year!

This rental really had everything we needed for a great holiday week getaway. The size of the house was comfortable for the five of us, and our teenager enjoyed the bunk beds. All rooms are very nicely renovated and comfortable, and the location was excellent, on a quiet street only a block from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Great experience and would highly recommend!

This beautiful, quaint cottage is a vacationers dream! We had one of the most enjoyable vacations ever! The cottage is well appointed - decor, bedding, and the kitchen is very well stocked. We especially loved the close proximity to the beach and restaurants! The beach wagon is definitely a bonus for transporting the beach paraphernalia with ease. Loved that we could take our sweet dog. Owner is exceptional - very "hands-on" and responsive to all inquiries. Highly recommend this cottage for your dream St Simon's getaway!

Beautifully decorated and quite spacious for our family of four. The description of the house and area is spot on, and it is literally a minute to the beach, which was such a perfect location! We did a lot of fishing, both at the nearby pier and right up at the beach- with more luck staying by the house and fishing there! Quiet neighborhood and lots of space at the beach. Overall an absolutely perfect vacation!! We would love to return again and this will surely be our “home” when we do. 😊

We've stayed on the same street before and love the proximity to the beach, King and Prince, and restaurants and shops, but the other location did not meet our needs this trip and luckily we found this house. It was perfect! Our host was wonderful and attentive. I can't wait to come back for another visit!

Overall good stay. Dog poop in back yard when we arrived and I had to clean that up. Property with smell as if someone had been smoking although it is a no smoking property. Easy walk to the beach and near lots of restaurants.

Location was the best!
Property was very clean, especially for being pet friendly. The layout was perfect for my family of 5 (including 1 tween, 2 teens). We cooked most meals at the house and had everything needed. The location was perfect. It was actually easier to walk to the beach access point near the house rather than pack everything up in the car and haul it across the beach, which is what we did the first day. The other thing I want to mention was the service. I had contacted the owner before we left asking if there were beach chairs available, and she responded that there were, as well as a wagon. So we left our wagon at home. When we arrived, the wagon there was broken (missing a wheel), so I contacted her asking where I could buy one locally. She had a new wagon at the house within an hour!! I was not expecting that because it wasn't even listed in the amenities. She definitely went above and beyond :). If this house is available, book it now!
