About this house rental

Amazing home with all-day sun and beautiful views. Recently installed Solar panels for a more sustainable future. We have just recently renovated both bathrooms. This house is set on top of a ridge with twin views over Oneroa and Surfdale. With the addition of spa pool to keep you warm and relaxed during those winter nights. . It has three bedrooms - one with an ensuite, and a second bathroom. Two of the bedrooms open up to decks with outstanding views. The decks surround much of the house, with outdoor furniture, making it a great place to relax and unwind or enjoy evening meals on the BBQ. You can enjoy a local Waiheke wine while watching the boats come and go in Oneroa bay, or take in the magnificent sunrises and sunsets. There are beautiful landscaped places around the garden to relax, there is a tropical garden at the front of the house and attractive gardens surrounding the rest of the house to take a snooze, or watch the birdlife.

The house is close to beaches, car ferry, and passenger ferry terminal in Matiatia - 10 minutes walk to either Little Oneroa or Surfdale, and just a little further to beautiful Oneroa beach - all are great beaches for families. Oneroa township, with its cafes, galleries, arts and craft shops, restaurants and other interesting shops, is close by - 20 minutes walk or five minutes by car. The house is centrally located to other landmark beaches like Palm Beach or Onetangi Beach. Wineries such as Mudbrick, Cable Bay and Stoneyrigde are also near by and are great for wine tasting, There is a school in Blackpool for cricket or volleyball and a regional park for BBQ and picnics. There are other attractions Waiheke has to offer such as the Market on Saturday morning at Ostend which is a must-see.

Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds; the third has a king-size bed which can be separated into two single beds. There is 75” TV, MYSky, cricket set, frisbie, rugby ball, boggie board, table tennis table to occupy you. We also have umbrellas, beach chairs and picnic gear for the beach.
Special conditions:
Over Christmas, New Year and Easter periods, a minimum of four days booking is required

On arrival you will receive a popular Waiheke wine, a bunch of flowers and Chocolates.
Also we will provide plunger coffee,tea and milk to get you started.

Please be considerate of our great neighbours regarding noise.

Not suitable for small children.

Dogs OK, but not on the furniture please, note property not fenced

Smoking outside only.

Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this property to celebrate a significant birthday with family. THe property has amazing views, and the beautiful surrounding gardens meant that it was gorgeous to sit out on the deck with a cuppa or a wine. The property manager was extremely helpful and made the weekend very easy for us. The house is well maintained and there has been careful attention to detail in the way things have been set up for guests. The kids loved the spa and the table tennis table. I highly recommend!

Great find! We’ve stayed at half a dozen different baches, but this one was easily the stand out. Such a great spot, private, beautiful views, and exactly what we’d hoped for. We’ll definitely be booking again!

A fantastically presented property with some great views. Has to be smack in the middle of everywhere and no where is more than 15 mins away, including the ferries. The drive way is classically steep typical of the island so some caution there but of course you want the views.......

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, nice and clean, great facilities - especially the spa pool which overlooks the valley behind the house, and the host made it really special with a cute welcome pack on the counter when we arrived, and excellent communication in the lead up to our stay. This was a jewel of a property both in terms of location and comfort. The property is beautifully cared with gorgeous gardens and brand new bathrooms and kitchen. There is so much space and little sitting areas from where to enjoy ample views of the sea and the island. It’s a beautiful home with all the comforts of a 5 stars hotel. Will definitely return. The host left us some treats as a welcome and made the Easter holiday one to remember.

This was the perfect bach for a group of six adults staying on Waiheke. The place was very clean and so well equipped. I'd go so far in saying that the photos on the website don't do it justice- it's so much better! We particularly appreciated the recently renovated bathrooms and the hot tub which was sparkling clean - my friend is very particular due to how he cares for his spa and was very impressed at the cleanliness. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, and thank Geoff for his frequent communication and willingness to let us bring our dog with us.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, would’ve stayed longer if only our circumstances permitted it. The house is fully furnished, we were able to make good use of the kitchen and the BBQ, and we especially loved the spa and the views around the house. We were also welcomed by some thoughtful treats from Geoff. Would definitely not hesitate to book it again when we go back to Waiheke.

The house was excellent, immacualtely presented, clean and modern. it is in a great setting and has wonderful views. Close to local shops and bays on Waheike, it is a great place to stay. I can't recommend the property highly enough. I would defitely stay there again if I am planning a trip to Waheike.

The property is amazing! Emmaculate, great facilities, very welcoming and such amazing views. Every deck has great sea views and for evenings indoors the living room is a great place to relax. The beach is a 5 min walk too. I loved this place.
