Very good

I liked that the guesthouse had enough space for parking. Very quiet location, which I really appreciated. Silence in the night. The roosters were crowing in the morning, but I didn't mind. I had to equip the room with dishes, towels, gloves for hot things, a rice cooker, a blender, etc. The staff was accommodating. The lady washed and ironed. It suited me, due to the fact that I visited Mauritius at the end or outside the high season, so the guesthouse was half empty. The balcony at the apartment was a welcome bonus. I probably wouldn't have lasted there without air conditioning. I had a softer bed than in an expensive hotel. Which was nice.

The only thing that surprised me a little is that the hosts did not recommend any local restaurant or business upon arrival. In the Czech Republic, when a person arrives at a guesthouse that does not have a restaurant, they immediately tell him where there is a good restaurant in town. I'm the customer, so they have to try. When they don't want deals... Their problem.

Rooms ar very good, have your own kitchen with other one room.

Gates are locket during the night from 9PM, not possible to ring any bel, only to call, but if you do not have local SIM card it is very expensive.

Great good equipment room.

During check-in the receptionist locked the main door in front of nose of our friends, they had to wait us on parking, because they weren't allowed to a lobby. The main gate is closing at 10 p.m. later you have to climb a fence.

Everything good, super kind host and very good deal!

Everything just great, the host was super kind and helpful, he even let us pick fruits from the garden. Very good deal for the price and all expectations met, thank you very much!!

excellent value... outside town

Big functional apartment with warm cozy colours, very clean. Friendly staff, just ask if you need something, they will help. Efficient AC, comfortable bed, slept very well. Excellent value!

Outside town so it is a bit of a walk, but even so the area is not particularly quiet. No window so the only light comes in through the glass balcony door. Balcony is big but narrow, has no outdoor furniture. New neighboring building under construction is now in front of what used to be the ocean view.

horrible. avoid at all cost.

nothing, dodgy and shifty

bad location, run down property, dodgy staff and people coming in and out, room is tiny and dirty, toilets are broken, dirty and are always wet because they're combined with a shower, lots of crockroches and wasps, no living room or sofa or washing machine as advertised on the page and owner can't communicate well in English and the other owner is always busy with work and never helps. all in all, we ran away after one night. the place feels so unsafe. anywhere but here is our advice.

Superb

The room has everything you will need. AC, a safe, a fridge, a balcony and even a kitchen if you feel like cooking. The location was also great and you could reach everything in Trou d'Eau Douce by foot or bike (which you can rent). The best part though was the host. Keshav is really nice and welcoming, answers quick, fluent in Englisch and provided so many good tips and help regarding activities and more.

We spent there only one night but the accommodation has everything what we needed. The owner Keshav was friendly.

After a while, water dripped from the air conditioner.

Very good

Good value for money! Room spacious with many kitchen facilities. Very friendly and helpful owner! Bus stop nearby.

If you don't have a car it is far to walk to restaurants, supermarkets and boats to Ile aux Cerfs. Bathroom very small.
