About this apartment rental
This property is conveniently located near the center of Oak Bluffs and with many great restaurant and out door activity, all within walking distance from the property. You can also walk to different fast ferry terminals to visit Nantucket, Falmouth or Rhode Island. If you like water sport, you can rent jet ski, paddle board from one of the rental which is located one block away from the property. There is public fishing pier located directly across from the property or you can go fishing with one of the party boats. Many beautiful beaches on the island can be reached within minutes.

Property was new and in good condition and location was very good for a stay at Oak Bluffs. Check in time was late in the day, 5:00 with no considerations to check in earlier. The amenities were scarce. When we arrived, there was only one set of towels and only hand soap for 4 people. When we requested additional supplies we were given 2 more sets of towels and a couple of bars of soap. The pull-out bed that was to accommodate two additional people not staying in the bedroom was very uncomfortable. Frankly speaking, you could find better places to stay on the island.

The pro’s: steps from the ferry terminal, carousel, shopping, restaurants, beach, gingerbread houses, and more! Spotlessly clean. Everything in working order. Very cute! Detailed and clear instructions were sent to email and text.
The con’s: listing said sleeps four, but beyond the king size bed, there is only one couch that I wouldn’t count as a pullout. The listing should say sleeps two plus a couch. There were only bath towels for two people, and no beach towels. I texted and left a voicemail with two simple questions and did not receive a reply.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but with only two people next time.

We had a wonderful trip to Martha’s Vineyard! This was a great location in Oak Bluffs, very walkable to everything nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Great apartment. Great location. Bigger than I expected. All new appliances. Clean. Very minimal furnishing (no side tables or coffee table in the living room) We loved our stay here and plan to stay again.

Fantastic location right on the water and just steps to the ferry and shops and restaurants. Balcony overlooking the ocean was amazing! Would definitely return if we’re in Martha’s Vineyard again.

We have stayed before and will again. Amazing location could not be any better. If you love a perfect sunrise or to people watch this is the place for you. The bed was comfy and rooms were very clean. We needed to talk to the owner and conveniently found him right downstairs. There are pay laundry machines that you share with neighbors. So convenient to restaurants and ferry. We took the fast ferry from New Bedford which lands right across the street. We love Dockside beach and to watch the ferries come and go.

This property is clean and located in an exceptional location although it is very sparse in furnishings. There is no table in the living room to rest a drink or place your items while watching TV and the TV is very low so you feel like you are looking down. The sofa is not very comfortable and it’s cumbersome to bring your own towels. However, it’s still good for a quick stay.

Which I could have stayed longer. Perfectly advertised. In fact it’s better in person. Large, pristeen, modern 1 bedroom, with amazing view of the harbor- across the street from the Oak Bluffs ferry and next to my fav restaurant Lookout Tavern. Very responsive property manager.

The location of the apartment is super convenient for ferry, rentals, beach, bus, dining, & shopping. It’s new and clean, but there are some points to be aware of. It’s right next to a busy Tavern, so there is foot traffic in the area, but the noise from the Tavern was not a problem. The kitchen is very sparse. Not even enough utensils for our group of three. Any cooking, other than reheating can be a challenge. There was 1 set of bath towels provided, but no hand towels, or beach towels. I emailed the owner several times to ask about sleeping on the couch, but I never got a reply. The couch is not a sofa bed, and more than one adult, would be tight. The walls of the apartment are paper thin & you can hear your neighbors, like they are in the same apartment. Which is a problem if they have crying babies, or loud kids who wake up early. The laundry machine, which is in a shared hallway, cost $3 per load to wash and $3 per load to dry. There is no soap provided-not even hand soap, or dishwasher soap. If you bring what the apartment is lacking, enjoy the views and the sights of MV.

We had trouble finding the door as it was on the side of the building but we called the property manager and they answered right away and showed us where to get it. The view was amazing and to our surprise the sound proofing in the room was really good. Located next to lookout tavern I expected to hear loud noises all night and we heard nothing. We are definitely looking to rent this place for a weekend get away in the future.

Scenic beautiful views. Apartment is nicely done and modern. Location is really fabulous we enjoyed convenience of being next to lookout tavern and near all of oak bluffs town center. Few things not great we arrived and someone else’s trash was still in apartment and was never removed which was a turn off. Owner was apologetic. The unit next door to this one you can hear everything through the walls. The people next to this unit partied every night and made a lot of noise so that was annoying. Shared porch so no real privacy. The unit really would benefit from properly fitted blinds all around and some decor to warm it up. Bar height chairs for front porch would be amazing. Great for 3 people not more than that. Appreciated linens being included but having towels too would be awesome for travelers. The ad may want to specify that washer and dryer is coin operated $3 each load so bring quarters if you plan to wash and towels. Overall great place if you don’t mind being woke up by the ferry horn!

This place truly has amazing views. We went in early June, so the weather wasn't super nice, we even saw a thunderstorm -- very impressive view from this place! It is also incredibly convenient, you're two blocks from the main drag in OB, bike rental, shops, restaurants, whatever you want. The place has all the regular amenities, though we didn't use them much -- mostly went out. Strong recommend if you can snag this!

Nice upstairs location located directly across from the ferry and a minute walk to local attractions. Located next to a bar but no noise is heard unless you open windows on a busy night. Nice patio. Could benefit from blackout curtains in bedroom and bathroom. Coin operated laundry ($3.00 each for washing and drying as of May 2023). Shabby walkway and surrounding areas but clean and attractive unit. Comfortable for 3 adults.

Perfect location right near the ferries, near the beaches and bike rental too. The place was very clean and looked recently remodeled. It was hot while we were there and the air conditioner worked great. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Convenient place in Oak Bluffs.

Lovely views and location. Very neat and clean. No dresser or coffee table. Only 2 counter stools in the apartment and no table so really just meant for 2 guests. Parking can be tough, must coordinate with other apartment to get to car. But overall a great rental.

We've stayed at this property twice. This year and last year. It is located in a great spot directly across from the Oak Bluffs Steamship Ferry Authority and includes a parking space which takes a huge burden off if you come over with a vehicle. The apartment amenities include a full kitchen, cookery, cable TV, internet access and an excellent air conditioning system. Some changes that would be most beneficial would be some better blackout drapes. Especially in the bedroom to keep the morning sun out. Also, the addition of a full length mirror some place in the unit is necessary as the only mirror is in the bathroom on the vanity. Also, there were a few non working electrical outlets in the unit including the one in the bathroom where my wife would have plugged in the hair dryer and/or her curling iron. She had to use an outlet outside of the bathroom for those items which was inconvenient - particularly given there were no other mirrors in the unit outside of the bathroom. The apartment is located net door to the Lookout Tavern which has great food and drink, but the apartment windows are so good you can't hear everyone having a good time, which is great at night. We will definitely stay here again given the convenience of the location and how nice the unit is. If a few improvements were made it would be absolutely perfect. Still great as it is though.

Newly renovated property perfectly situated near ferry and restaurants with water views and beach just across the street. Beautiful big windows, comfortable beds/bedding, new everything. Walls are a bit thin so we could hear neighboring guests but not a problem. A great rental in a wonderful little island town.

1. A deadbolt or top lock on the main door. There was no way to lock from the inside so my young kids could easily open it and right outside the door was the staircase. Didn’t feel great about that.
2. The floors need rugs. The floor felt very sandy underfoot.
3. I really think towels should be provided. It’s very hard to pack towels. They take up a lot of space in a suitcase.
4. Consider mounting the TV and hiding the modems etc in furniture. Again, my kids had very easy access to the tv and modems etc. Older kids will do ok but mine are 1 and 3.
5. Access from the upstairs back door would have been nice since the parking is right by the stairs.
6. Parking was not ideal. Glad there was a spot but we had to coordinate with the neighbor a few times to be able to leave.
All in all, it was a great place but I think these are mostly easy fixes that would really improve one’s stay. :)

This property was worth every penny. The location and views alone are absolutely wonderful. Bring your own towels, this was not a problem for me. I’ve paid more money, didn’t have no where near these views and have brought towels and bed linens. My only complaint would be that I could hear my neighbors in the apartment next us, bedroom to bedroom, so we whispered when we spoke. LOL However I will note that windows are top grade because we were not bothered nor really could hear outside noise. All and all, it was a fabulous stay. We would most definitely book this property again.

We visit MV often. This visit we chose not to bring the car so this listing location was so perfect. A quick hop skip and jump from any OB ferry. As a matter of fact the view from the unit balcony IS the Seasteak and Steamship Authority landing as well as the harbor entrance. There is something so wonderful watching the ferries come and go. We LOVE Dockside Beach that is a few steps from this unit. The adults chose to sleep in the living room so as to watch two of the most glorious sunrises. The unit is very clean and updated. I thought there might be a noise problem with the very busy restaurant right next door but somehow our unit was very quiet and peaceful even with the balcony door open.
The location is phenomenal. Restaurants, shopping, bus and , of course, ferry just steps away. I imagine this unit would be exceptional for the August fireworks.
There is a parking space, which if you have ever stayed in OB, you will appreciate very much.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this listing. Do not hesitate. Grab it and go!!!!

As a habitual porch sitter who values water views, I loved sitting on the balcony and taking it all in; and being able to walk out to everything in town is super convenient.

Screens would be nice; I would not stay here with young children because of the lack of screens.
Bring a small portable table to use on the balcony. We used our table-in-a-bag that we usually bring to the beach and it was perfect.

First, second, and third the view is amazing! Sitting on the balcony, overlooking the harbor, watching the sailboats and ships sail by, cannot be captured by camera alone. The apartment is very clean and has new furniture. The bed was super comfortable and the couch is also comfortable to sleep on. The location is perfect. Get off the ferry at Oak bluffs and there you are. Resturaunt’s, shopping, and sites are all around the corner. You would not need a car, although there is parking on site. Danny is very responsive to any call or question. If you are coming to MV, stay here and nowhere else. Bring your own towels as bedding is provided but not towels. There were some basic items in the kitchen left by previous guests. There was also liquid soap left behind and paper towels. You can’t count on this so you should bring your own soap, shampoo and paper towels. I will definitely stay here again!

Owner finally answered after 12+ hours and claimed "a mix up happened with the cleaner." Refunded the rental cost which was his only redeeming move.
