Jane is the perfect host. The first question after we arrived: Would you like a tea or coffee? What a wonderful welcoming. The bed was big and very comfortable. The breakfast just delicious, with a large variation and really enough to bring you through the whole day. The house is remote, but it is very quite.
Jane is a really nice women with a good sense of humor.
We would recommend that B&B highly and stay there anytime again. Thank you so much Jane for these two wonderful nights.

Very hospitable host Jane and delicious breakfasts and dinner and welcoming pots of tea.
Very comfortable lounge and breakfast areas.

Jane provided not only a terrific breakfast, but also dinner on the first night, since we were arriving a little late. The facility was very comfortable, with a wonderful sitting room and a light and airy breakfast room.
The roads on Skye were terrible, but that isn't the fault of the Glendale View.

We felt at home as soon as we walked in and were greeted by Jane and her daughter Liv. The drive over was as expected since we had read the extremely detailed guide that Jane shares with guests before arrival - several tips were so helpful as we managed driving on single lane roads with loads of sheep and a few potholes. We were lucky to have dinner in the conservatory the first night - if you can request it ahead of time the conservatory is just beautiful with views of the green fields all around you and Jane is a great cook. Breakfast was also terrific. Beds were very comfy and the rainfall shower terrific. We loved the location as it was very close to Neist Point, Three Chimneys (which was incredible) and Dunvegan Castle. Plus it was a nice reprieve from the very busy other side of the island.
Honestly, there isn't really anything we didn't like. Jane went above and beyond in her hospitality.

Very clean and comfortable room. A kettle and coffee machine were provided. Comfy little scottish blankets were a nice touch from the Sky Weavers next door. Bathroom was great with shower and all the necessities even little makeup remover cotton pads and q-tips. The host was lovely and very friendly.
Due to poor planning and the remote location we did not give ourselves enough time to travel to Glendale and a late check in at this location would disturb the other guests.

Great room with ensuite. Exceptional cleanliness and a fantastic hostess (Jane) who catered for and predicted all our needs. She regularly filled up the mini fridge with soft drinks, water and milk for us and similarly kept up copious supplies of tea and coffee for use in our lovely room. The breakfast selections were excellent too and on our arrival evening Jane prepared a delicious restaurant quality dinner for us at a reasonable price.
The road to the property it is a bit ice damaged and potholed like most of the Skye roads. Allow extra time and drive slowly on them would be our tip.

Absolutely amazing room (the separate studio flat), modern, comfortable and every creature comfort you could possibly want and more. Great service from the host who achieved that difficult balance of being attentive without being intrusive perfectly. Great breakfast to set you up for the day nicely, we also had the optional evening meal which was very welcome after a long drive.
One star deducted for location, it's pretty remote, but if that's what you're looking for then consider it a 5.
Nothing at all.

The room was very well decorated and the bed and pillows were very confortable! Everything was very clean!
The breakfast was very well prepared with tasty ingredients. But above all, the best of the inn was our host - Jane! She gave us good tips to visit Skye and she was always worried about our well being! We definetely recomend the Glendale view.

Amazing host. Jane is like a mother. Extremely clean room. Great service. And the views are unforgetable.
A bit of a drive but hey it is Isle of sky. It supposed to be far.

one of the best place to stay on Skye, external room with glazing view, lovely staff that made you felt at home, best coffee in Scotland (said by Italian), superb breakfast with plenty of choice, worth every single penny spent.

We loved staying at Glendale View! Jane, the owner, is amazing and very welcoming :) Our room was really big and beautiful - the bed was huge and very comfortable. We also had dinner there and we ate one of the best meals we had during our trip!! Jane is an amazing cook :) also breakfast was great. The B&B is only 15 minutes drive to Neist Point, which is pretty amazing. We would recommend Glendale View to anyone visiting Skye :)

Warm welcome by host Jane, she took care that we got everything we needed.

The cottage run by Olivia and Jane is absolutely wonderful. Located near Neist Point Lighthouse it is the perfect place for a stay on the Isle of Skye. The house is cosy, with spacious, clean and confortable rooms. The glass-enclosed dining room, set with a wonderful selection of music, allows you to enjoy the food and landscape. The icing on the cake, the excellent hostesses. Jane and Olivia are fun and attentive and make you feel at home. THANK YOU in capital letters.

The location was stunning and quiet and the property was absolutely lovely! We would recommend this property.

We were looking for a quiet room in the countryside, and that's what we got. And on the top with the lovely, friendly and supportive host. We felt at home, not to mention super comfortable beds. Like SUPER COMPFORTABLE :-). The place is on a good spot, very close to Neist Point Lighthouse and to amazing hikes. Not far away from other Sky attractions.
Nothing to complain about. Everything was just perfect. Thank you!!!!

It was the best B&B we stayed in on the whole trip. The house and our room were really pretty and the bed is super comfortable. Our homemade dinner and breakfast was delicious and our host Olivia was absolutely lovely. The B&B is decorated nicely. The rooms are comfortable. We loved the local paintings on the walls. Thank you for a great experience on the Isle of Skye.

Just phenomenal. we were greeted by the lovely, bubbly Jane who, after showing us our fabulous garden room, the guest lounge and dining room, offered us fresh, warm scones and tea in the dining room. Our room was amazing with a exceptional shower room with a selection of toiletries including cotton buds and cotton wool pads. there was a small fridge for our use in which were a couple of cold drinks. In the room were tea/coffee facilities plus biscuits and crisps. The was was incredibly comfortable. The whole place was spotless. We had to order breakfast the night before but the breakfast selection was amazing and the breakfast was beautifully presented and scrumptious. 10 stars plus! Definitely stay again.

Glendale View
What a wonderful place! Ideally placed to explore the Isle of Skye.
We were warmly welcomed with tea and freshly made scones despite our early arrival.
Our room was perfect, spotless & stylish and had simply the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in. Crisp white linen, thick fluffy towels and underfloor heating adding to the luxury.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We enjoyed the local restaurants in the evenings (The Three Chimneys is just 3 miles down the road). Jane & Florin are perfect hosts and simply couldn’t have done more to enhance our stay on this wonderful island. Book a stay at Glendale and you won’t be disappointed.
Wished I could have stayed longer!
