Lovely modern bathroom, big tv, easy to find, nice and clean
The bed was very hard and lumpy but that was the only issue we had.

Great location, steps away from the promenade and beach. Freshly renovated room (we stayed in Lodge 12). Very clean with daily housekeeping refresh. Comfy bed. The only change I would made in the room would be addition of small fridge, it would make it perfect! It was one of our many stays in Lowestoft and the very first one I was not disgusted to unpack my bags and use the room in full!
The only problem we had were very heavy and noisy doors, people were shutting them without holding and it woke us up multiple times. Honestly the sound makes you jump! Maybe a polite note on the doors would help?
Also the internal walls are not very soundproof so we could hear other people's conversations and some bathroom noises, it didn't spoil our stay but may be uncomfortable for someone sensitive.

Breakfast was good and location was ideal
There was building work going on, we did receive an email about this but it didn’t alter our plans

Location was perfect and staff were very attentive
The rooms felt like an afterthought. The window was broken so didn’t shut causing the room to be cold. Holes in the walls and doors from where obviously hooks/nails had been ripped out. General state was in disrepair for that part of the hotel we were in.

The lodge is a good accommodation separate from the main Hotel, there was pently of parking spaces and the food was very good.
I could not get the shower to turn on so some instructions would be good.

Nothing, was as expected for budget hotel

Breakfast was very good and set in a roomy dining area. A pleasant view of the sea and promenade. A good location with easy access to the town centre.
We were in the lodge, being over the road to the actual hotel which wasn't a problem. The lodge room was compact, for a single occupancy it would have perhaps been ok but for two, not good in my opinion. The room lighting was two bedside lamps which wasn't enough. The lighting in the bathroom wasn't much better. Little light making the use of the mirror poor. The cupboard which contained coat hangers was hindered by containing an ironing board.

It was close to the beach
The room was very hot, dirty - found an empty condom wrapper on the floor and peanuts.
The room was smelly and noisy from a snooker club below the bedroom

We liked the location and the best Western we think was the better option but we was on a budget and the lodge was more affordable for us but i think it is in need of a bit of TLC to be fair.
Rooms are a bit tired and could do with a refurbishment 😉
